But unlike other…read morecorporate cafeterias, this one is open to the public as it doesn't require badge access to enter. The food isn't subsidized, so the pricing is comparable to outside eateries. Their offerings include salads, soups and hot entrees which are priced under $10. This eatery is located next to Zoka in the Dawson building. Walk further down the hall until you see the entrance to this cafeteria. Typically you will find a line at the entrance. This is not the line to enter, but rather the line to order a salad which is arguably the most popular option. If you want a soup or hot meal, walk past this line to head inside. I have only gotten the hot meals here and I found them to be average in every way. Price, portion and taste. I feel like I get shortchanged buying the hot meals here since it only includes the entree and a side like rice or beans so the takeout box feels a little light. If you want veggies, you have to pay more for that. Given that there are so many options in SLU including food trucks and restaurants, eating here is purely out of convenience. The cafeteria is a half block away from where I work so it is a nearby option when I don't have a lot of time to eat. Otherwise I would usually opt for a food truck instead. It is a nice place to dine with co-workers since the dining room is quite large. It gets pretty full during the lunch hour so it may be tough to get a table, but usually there are counter seats available here. Overall, Warehouse 345 is fine. I like that it is close to my office, but I prefer to eat elsewhere if I have the time since the fare here isn't very appealing to me.

The first time I was here, I was a little overwhelmed due to their selection: fresh baked loaves of bread, cookies, tarts, cakes and even creme brulees. Croissants are one of my biggest weaknesses and the students in the Culinary Arts program make some of the best I've had. They can give some of the bakeries a run for their money! For Valentines Day, I treated my bf to their chocolate apricot heart shaped cookie and guava pineapple tart. I really wished I got those for myself because they were so good. I can see myself coming here on a regular basis if i was a student at SCC. I hear they also serve a sit down lunch, which I can't wait to get the chance to check out.

You will need to find street parking but it's not too difficult. The name gives you the clue - it's "classic" in a retro, elevated biker bar way (there is a bar in the front and there was a biker out front as well so I'm sticking with this description). On the walls are "classics" like Harley Davidson and Elvis Presley. Among the other things that we did not know (which was everything) - it's New Orleans Cajun-based food. There are some non-New Orleans Cajun items on the menu - traditional breakfast French Toast and such - however, many of the items, from the omelets to the chicken ARE with a very tasty and not-too-spicy Cajun flavor or sauce. My husband had the omelet that featured andouille sausage and was very glad he did. I tried the Cajun chicken tenders (?) that came LOADED, on top of delicious homestyle biscuits, and next to a pile of cheesy potatoes. Service was perfect. Very friendly from walking in the door to walking out the door. Very diverse clientele so you can rest assured you will like it here. Could not have had a better Easter brunch experience unless the Easter Bunny itself was there.

Not sure if I am spelling our server's name correctly, Romie was a delight and offered kindness and patience for us. On to the food! I cannot decide if we should get the jambalaya and split or the new menu item, which is the cilantro shrimp. I am a fan of both. I will definitely have to return to try the jambalaya, but this evening we decided to go with the cilantro shrimp. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The cilantro cream sauce paired greatly with the pasta. The sauce was not over creamy, but it was a little bit on the oily/buttery side and the sauce itself could use a little bit of salt and pepper. The waffle was on of the best we have been able to locate and the bacon, which I forgot to snap a pic of because we gobble it down before I realized. LOL!!! The beignets were cooked very well, I love the puff pastry that they use because it wasn't overly sweet and they weren't too greasy. Am I opinion overall this is a decent affordable restaurant to enjoy a meal with a friend a loved one and even a family member. The restaurant is not on the larger scale, so my recommendations would be no more than 4 to 6 people in your party if you plan to eat here. It's also very chill and the atmosphere was relaxing in case you're looking for a place with a little bit more intimacy. As always safe, hungry and happy out there! Be someone's best day. See y'all next time for my next review.

I don't know if I've ever consumed so much sugar in as short of a time period as I did here On each piece (that already came with powdered sugar) I spread whipped cream, poured syrup, and ate with butter Being french toast itself has some strong built in advantages - so I can really only compare this against other french toast So while I do wish there was something more solid with this meal - I did know what I was ordering going in The portion size was really good - there were three pretty decent-sized pieces of bread Each piece had an interior that was nice and fluffy but a bit too airy for me - I would've prefered a more solid interior of the bread Eating the toast didn't feel like you were eating something with weight behind it - it felt light - even though the three slices added up to make you full Going off that, the outside of the bread was pretty soft as well - I would've liked it to be more crispy As for the toppings - I thought the syrup was quite good - it complemented the top side of the bread in a nice way Similarly, the whipped cream added a pretty good flavor to the top. It also helped a good amount with the strawberries The butter I'm not sure on. It was hard to spread given the softness of the toast - and I could see that any attempt to spread it would result in the toast breaking apart. Eventually I decided to break off small pieces of butter and eat them at the same time as my toast bite.

We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated shortly after arriving, which I appreciated. My partner ordered the Vegan Banana Pancakes with a side of potatoes, and I had the Rancher's Breakfast with French toast. Overall, the food was good, but I was really disappointed with the French toast -- it was soggy and not what I expected. Everything else was solid. The service was decent, but when we asked questions about the menu, our server didn't seem very familiar with it, which made ordering a bit less smooth. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere didn't feel as clean or inviting as the Ballard and SLU locations, and that impacted the experience for me. Because of that, I probably wouldn't return to this location, though I'd still visit the others.
