I've been going to Monique for Hair extension for about 2 years and I can't imagine going anywhere else ever again, Monique is an absolute artist! Monique is truly a miracle worker when it comes to hair needs and vision. I'm so lucky to have found Monique! She did an incredible job with my hair extensions for my wedding. I was so nervous about getting them because I was coming in with highlights, but she made the process so easy and painless. She also took the time to explain the different types of hair extensions & walked me through their pros/cons around 1) price 2) hairstyle flexibility 3) extension time & 4) aftercare/ maintenance. I went with K-tips since I wanted the most flexibility and for it to last a while. We then made a plan to have extensions & coloring done (balayage) so that my natural hair & the extensions would match. The installation is LONG (5hr for my long hair), so just be prepared to eat/take care of yourself beforehand, but I promise it's worth it. She has a keen eye and worked precisely with her attention to detail. You can tell she's incredibly passionate about hair, ensuring healthy hair for her clients, and making sure you walk out feeling gorgeous. My hair looked amazing for MONTHS after my wedding, and I received so many compliments on it. Absolutely no one could tell I had extensions in. They were seamless. I'm from the Bay Area and there's a shortage of great colorists, based on her work displayed on IG, I was willing to take a chance. She did not disappoint. I have thick, curly/wavy hair and she has cut and highlighted my hair and was even able to take me from basically black hair to blonde in a few sessions without damaging my hair.
