Darwin Ciria was our real state agent when we were looking to buy a home in Baldwin Park back in 2018-2019. Darwin made the process smooth because he was knowledgeable and honest. He gave us all the resources and tools we needed and guided us along the way. The McLeod team is like a family, and each member plays a role. We had the pleasure of being assisted by Marlene, who was super nice, just like Darwin. She assisted us with some documents and then handed us over back to Darwin. Their communication is on point with the customers "us" and within each other. First time home buyer here that was late to the race. I considered myself a longtime renter, having resigned any notion of home ownership to the current state of living in California. We worked/trusted them on two separate occasions: 1.) when we purchased our house in 2017 and 2.) when we refinanced the same house this past month. We worked with Darwin as our realtor when were in the market for our house. After giving our specs of what we were looking for, Darwin was quick and responsive to the listings we were looking for as well as being informative and reassuring every step in the process. Round# 2 with McLeod & Associates (originally helped us buy our first home in 2014) - Selling our house and purchasing a new home. McLeod did it once again! Hit this one out of the park for us, and thanks to their team, we're in our dream home. You can basically read the first review we left them back in 2014, or if you want a more recent testimony on the quality of their work, here's a letter I sent to the team after our new purchase: ---------- My apologies for not getting back to you sooner, but it's been a TOUGH couple of months. I know I had already relayed this in a conversation I had with Len during the time he stepped in for Darwin, but I just really can't express how blessed we are to have you guys in our lives. I hope you have a few minutes for this review (it may take a few times to get through the whole thing). Let me start with Darwin... Darwin Ciria. THAT guy is amazing. Before we started this process, we didn't know who we'd be working with, but once we found out it was Darwin, we knew we'd be taken care of. Not because we were already friends...but because as friends, we already knew how meticulous he was with everything, not to mention the confidence he has in completing tasks, and just his overall tenacity in making sure that the work he does is a reflection of his own high standards. What's funny is that the ONLY thing we were worried about also had to do with our friendship with Darwin, and whether or not any boundaries would be crossed or any kind of issue that might come up that would put either Darwin or us in an uncomfortable situation. However, that concern never came to fruition. Kristina and I would actually have conversations about how impressed we were with his professionalism. When it was time for business, we felt like clients (which is a good thing), and if ever Darwin needed to sidebar as a friend, he made sure to make it very clear that it was a completely separate conversation. We had and continue to have great respect for his business acumen, and appreciate all of his hard work in both of our transactions. He was a bulldog and made sure that we were able to get the full offer on the sale of our house, and when it got tricky at the end with all of the repairs that were requested as well as the delayed close of escrow, he made sure that we were compensated and protected, and most of all, kept us from going over the edge. In essence, he was anything we needed at any time we needed it. He was clear and concise, and regularly communicated with us via text/email/phone. He was never difficult to reach, and he always kept us apprised of any developments. He was very attentive to our needs and concerns and he addressed any issues. There are probably a million more positive things we could say about Darwin, but I don't want to keep you from those beautiful kiddos of yours for too long! Now for the rest of your team! You have assembled an AMAZING staff. After Darwin, the employee that we had most interaction with was Zachary. We had a little bit of a miscommunication at the beginning of this process where he thought we were doing a refinance instead of a sell/purchase, but I ultimately think that the little bit of delay it caused actually worked in our favor and helped us to buy our new home. Zachary was also very professional in his attitude, and was always easy to get a hold of if we ever had any questions regarding the loan process. Whenever we needed to submit documents, he made sure to do it right away so that we had time to complete the tasks. The same can be said about Patrick and Eileen. They were all great to work with (including Giai, who I don't recall any interaction with but must've been another behind-the-scenes person, and if not, my apologies for not remembering). I KNOW the work they did was time-consuming and brought about its own challenges, but they made it SEEM easy, which is the mark of a great team and made us feel easier during the whole process. There was never an instance where we felt pressured, nor was there any point where we felt (too) guilty about not getting something done in time or not knowing the answer to a question. Not to say that we didn't feel overwhelmed at times, because there were PLENTY of those moments...but they helped to get us through them, and we truly appreciate their hard work as well. Oh, I GUESS I should thank that guy Leonard for his "hard work" as well All jokes aside, I know the both of you were working hard behind the scenes, and when Darwin went on his trip, Leonard stepped in (during probably the scariest part of our sale) and the transition was SEAMLESS. We can not say enough about this ninja team. We're not ones to post any sort of review, but we just have to share our experience thus far with you all. Mcleod & Associates are literally are realtors for life. They were involved with us from the get go of our first purchase back in 2010. Since then, seeing the team grow has been amazing to see. Most recently, we sold our home in Eastvale. It was different this time around as we were more in contact with Darwin Ciria than Mia and Len. They couldn't have had a better person help us through with everything. His communication was so thorough and informative and just on top of everything, it was so impressive. He also is very precise, particular, determined, and so knowledgeable. He even was so accommodating and respectful to our daily family life so as to minimize interference. He optimized showings in one weekend and were in escrow 3 days after going live on the MLS.
