McLean just finished our roof and we were very pleased with them. I went with them because they were a local, small company and I read several good google reviews. Right off the bat was taken with their professionalism. They got us an estimate very quickly and it was actually quite a bit lower than two other estimates that I got. We were planning on a metal roof and Ryan McLean was very helpful in determining our options, insulation choices, and color. When the install date came, we were impressed to find about 20 guys on the roof for the demolition - meaning they got it done really fast. They were very courteous and left virtually no mess, even with the small repairs that we had to do to our ceiling. Within 3 days, they had our metal roof installed and we love it! There were a few small details that we had questions about afterward and Ryan sent out a crew within hours to take care of everything. I would definitely recommend McLean to anyone! I just needed a roof repair, not a full roof replacement. I had a very hard time even getting quotes as it seems that all the roofing companies have been super busy, even with McLean's I had to wait 8 weeks or so for a physical visit and subsequent quote. So many places weren't interested at all in a minor repair job. I was uncomfortable with attempting a DIY fix due to the height and pitch of my roof. I was patient and McLean's got to me a bit earlier than the phone estimate I was given upon my first call. I found the quote acceptable and scheduled the repair. The work was done quickly, by professionals and looks great. Now the good part. The work crew performed the repair in half of the estimated time. McLean's called back afterwards and said they were cutting the quote in half and to wait for a 50% invoice. When was the last time you heard of that? The roofers were on time and extremely efficient. They completed the job in just two days. After work, each day, they cleaned up any debris including any in the neighbor's yard. Roofing is a major expense but their pricing was competitive. They also made sure that all permits were handled properly so that there was never any problem with the inspector. Ryan is very easy to work with. His prices are very reasonable My contractor, Mark Cano recommended him. The roof was put on a rental I own and I haven't seen it yet but my tenant says it looks great! Also thought there might have been an issue since my tenant noticed an electrical problem when he got home that night. I called Ryan the next day and he sent his crew out right away to see if they might have caused it by accident. They discovered that there was a problem where the wire meets the house from the pole and even though they aren't electricians, moved the wire enough to prevent arcing until PG&E could get out there.
