We stayed at this small motel on a holiday weekend.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and reservations were easy over the phone, just requiring name and number. The rooms were clean and comfortable, meeting basic needs. It has a family/nostalgic feel. Within walking distance of a restaurant/bar with decent food and drinks for a great price. The inn had bagels, toast, snacks and coffee in the morning which was a lot more than I expected for the very cheap rates.
Cons:The whole place is very outdated, including the way they take payments etc., however for $37/night, you really can't complain! I kind of liked it but if you're not into the vintage thing I guess it could be a downside. The other thing was that other guests can be loud and obnoxious and the walls and floors are not great at blocking sound.
Overall it was a pleasant experience. We will be staying here again next time we come up for a hiking trip! read more
