This is closest to our home. It in no way we'll return. The lady who often is there is SUPER rude and refuses to answer questions and/or follow special instruction on a garment. Doesn't deserve even one star! There's so many dry cleaners in the area...I wonder how they're still open. I have recently moved across town and McKay's cleaners are my closest cleaners. Every time I go , with the exception of maybe 2 times, the lady that is there in the mornings is severely rude. I brushed it off as a language / cultural barrier. Today she was upset that when I went to the drive thru on my way to work, she seemed to feel it was not her place to collect my garments. She was visibly upset. She threw them on her counter and closed the door as I was trying to thank her, and not giving me eye contact. She didnt even tell me when to pick them up. If I wasnt running a little behind, I would have turned around and retrieved them and taken my business elsewhere. We take all of our drycleaning here but I can definitely give someone else my business. Today was the last day. read more

One star for horrible cleaning services and horrible customer service. Took a blouse in, pointed out the makeup stain, and they did not even remotely remove the first time. So I took it back, and the woman was very snappy with me, told me no guarantees but she would try. Upon pick up, she barely spoke to me and was again snappy. Convenient but I will never be back because not only are they not good cleaners but they are not nice people. read more

In all my 44 years of being on this planet, I don't think I've ever had my read service that I had today at this dry cleaner. The older lady that works there is horrendous. I greeted her with a smile and asked how her day was. She abruptly cut me off and asked me for my name and phone number. She seemed angry and upset the entire time. When she handed me my receipt, she screamed "finish!" at me. I told her I did not understand what she meant. She just kept screaming at me over and over. I'm not even exaggerating. I then realized she wanted me to collect the dry cleaning off the rack. I told her that her behavior was very rude, and that she should treat people with kindness. She rolled her eyes back at me. Absolutely HORRIBLE! You'd be better off anywhere else! The RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL attitutudeS of everyone there is mind boggling!! Then, after paying $25 to clean (1) ONE wool coat and looking at it, it was STILL DIRTY! They begrudgingly said they'd do a -redo but I had to wait 3 more days... when I got it back the second time, THERE WAS LINT AND HAIR ALL OVER IT! Seriously like it was never even cleaned! STAY AWAY from this place. Go anywhere else... plus, we should support HAPPY people! it's a real downer from the minute you walk in the door! read more

This place provides the worst customer service. The Asian woman is obviously unhappy to be working at her own cleaners. When I requested my husband's cowboy shirts to be laundered, she told me they need to be dry cleaned and had an attitude when I disagreed with her. I've tried to overlook her tudy-ness, thinking she must have had a bad day but nope, the older woman should not be around customers. She has a permanent resting bitchy face and attitude. I've been coming this cleaner for many years. Lady who works this place provides great customer service and she is very friendly. I heard only good things from my neighbors who come this place as well. To be honest, their cleaning and press quality is not the best(just ok) but I still keep coming here just because of her great customer service. When I came yelp to leave review of this cleaner, I noticed that there are bad reviews, but I usually don't listen to bad reviews of any places or items until I give a try to any places/businesses because most of bad reviews contain biased one side of story. read more

Horrible service. This last time they did not even clean my shirts, just pressed them. The shirts were visibly dirty and they smelled. Will never use again. Will complain to BBB, but I'm not sure what good that will do. I want to warn as many people as possible to not use them. Spread the word and don't let your friends/family go there. read more

This is a cleaner that we have used since we moved to McKay's Mill over a year ago. Their work has been satisfactory to this point, but I recently had an issue that I went back to get corrected. It seemed quite simple to me. I had previously brought a couple pairs of pants in to have the waist let out an inch. When it came time to wear the pants a couple of weeks later, I discovered that the tailor had actually let out the hem. I returned the pants and asked them to fix the error, which they did. When I was confused as to why I needed to pay full price for their error (I didn't mind paying the difference), she became extremely angry to the point that she threw receipts at me including a pen that I had to stop before it flew off the counter and hit my 3 year old daughter. She was so visibly angry that my daughter was scared and began to cry. I assured her that the woman wasn't mad at her, only at me. read more

I cannot even bring myself to give this cleaners ONE star! After being afraid of the lady for as long as I've been dropping clothes there, my experience yesterday finally took the cake. Although I am sorry to read that she has exhibited outrageous behavior with others who have given reviews, I must admit that I feel validated after reading them! I've never been so shocked and appalled in my life. Through the years I have seen her slam the sliding glass door so violently that I thought it was surely going to shatter, and I have witnessed her rude attitude with me on numerous occasions, and for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I have even tried to be OVERLY kind with her so that I didn't have to endure her evil eyed look, but to no avail. Yesterday she handed me my shirt through the driver's window for the first time, rather than opening my back door to hang it up, and when I tried to twist around with my seatbelt on to hang it in the back, I couldn't reach...so as I was beginning to ask if she could please put it back there for me, before I could even get the words out of my mouth, she YANKED the shirt so HARD from my hands I thought it might rip! I even shrieked out loud when she did it, as it came as such a shock! She then said, "It's o.k." as if to apoligize somewhat, but at that point it was too late. When I got my change from her, I told her I would NEVER be back. She obviously needs anger management counseling and prayer, but she should NOT be working with the public! Please do yourself a favor and take your clothes to another cleaners...even if you have to go out of your way to do so! read more

This place is a real rip off. We have been going here for 3 years or so because they are close to where we live. We have had a number of high cleaning bills, but assumed it was because the bulk of our orders were women's clothing (which my wife convinced me were more expensive). But yesterday I picked up a single men's shirt, although I thought there was more than one item when I paid the $5.84 bill. When I got home I found out that there was indeed just the one men's shirt. I could not determine what had been done that would have justified such expense. Other area cleaners advertise in their windows that men's shirts are $1.50 or less. I went back today and asked "why" the cleaning cost almost 6 DOLLARS!? The answer was that the shirt required "hand ironing." I asked "how would I know that" or "how could I have asked NOT to have it hand ironed for less cost?" The lady behind the counter just shrugged and chuckled. I told her I would not be back. RIP OFF!!! Don't go here and save some money. read more

This is the worst Dry Cleaner I've ever experienced. I took a couple sweaters to this place to be cleaned. When I went to wear one a few days later, I notice there was a huge chunk taken out of the corner. When I confronted them about it, they said that I had done it. I argued with them for 15 minutes that when I brought it in, it was fine, and when I took it out of the plastic, it was damaged. They refused to refund my money, repair the sweater or pay for the sweater. They basically made me feel like a crazy person for even thinking they could have done something like this. I have never been treated so poorly by a business before. There are so many dry cleaners out there that customer service should be of utmost importance. Do NOT go to this dry cleaner if you would like to keep your clothing in one piece. read more

They shrank a $150 shirt and when I told them about it they blew me off. Not the way I would do business.

I paid $45 for a comforter to be cleaned. I picked it up; it doesn't smell clean, it doesn't seem dry-cleaned at all ; just neatly folded into a king size plastic bag. I used 15 tapes on a lint roller that were full of cat hair as soon as I unfolded it. This was the whole point to get my comforter cleaned after my cats spend a weekend locked in the bedroom. Thanks for taking my money and folding my comforter for me. read more

I tried this dry cleaner a few years ago and stopped using them due to the lack of customer care. I started trying them again a month ago. The lady in the morning was very unfriendly but when I picked up in the afternoon the lady was super sweet. Today was the kicker! I went to drop clothes off at 7 am and asked when they would be ready. The lady told me Saturday at 2pm. They have a sign in their window that says same day service - in B&T 830 out by 5:30. I politely asked her what that sign meant and she said it was for small numbers. I then politely ask if I could get it after 5 on Friday (the next day- which is usually when you can get it back). She says no. So I say I am sorry but I will have to drop them off somewhere else. She grabs my clothes and just basically dumps them in my lap. I then ask for the manager / owner. She says it is her and I tell her that there have been 2 times that she has been rude to me. She started to say something that I didn't understand and then says sorry.
