Will not recommend McIver Electric to anyone. Had them do a service on my standby generator.
Originally get a bill saying they replaced the battery and did a tune up and test run. Bill total said around $256 with credit card payment or $250 cash payment. I wanted a more detailed explanation on my bill of what services were performed (like if the valves needed adjustment, which is important). Went to the office to pay for the tune up in cash. Asked if I could get a more detailed bill from billing lady of what was done and told me she couldn't and they don't do that.
Then, another gentleman tried giving me this long speech on why they couldn't. Billing lady then hands me a new bill which is now $100 more! They forgot to charge me for the battery replacement. Mistakes happen understandably, but when a customer asks for a detailed bill of what was done give it to them. My vehicle mechanic does, why can't they? Not okay with me and will no longer do business with them. read more
