Make sure you have in writing what you agreed upon with Zig Zag. This guy over promises, over charges and under delivers. He charged me $325 and said he would do magic for the kids, provide balloon animals at the end of the show, and play music. He didn't do any of this at all. What we got was 1 or 2 weak magic tricks throughout a 45 minute show. He spent the rest of the show hitting himself over the head with styrofoam props to make the kids laugh, cheap laughs. My seven year old, the birthday boys brother, was not entertained. This is not a magic show at all! Parents and family kept telling me how bad he was throughout the day, which is not what you want to hear when you spend your hard earned money and plan a mega birthday party for your son. I'm very upset to say the least, as this was supposed to be the highlight of the day. In the end, I handed him his cash and he ran out the door, really fast. Look elsewhere.

Knowing very well that the music can either MAKE or BREAK your wedding I asked for a meeting so we could discuss the very extensive playlist mentioned above. He looked at it (Spotify rules), literally told us what would work and I was happy about it... His deep knowledge of music preferences amongst Latin American countries is second to none in my opinion. Anyways, he showed up on time, set up everything, put up the lights, and just.... BROUGHT IT. The mix of music was enough to keep EVERYONE young and old dancing the night away. We even had a special request for the father-daughter dance which everyone had a kick off and he executed to perfection (started with the very traditional Blue Danube and then did a record scratch to "La Rebelion" by Joe Arroyo. It still has people talking about it. Our friends and family who attended keep on talking about how fun the wedding was and even our unmarried cousin said if she ever gets married, she will hire Theo (I hope he would go all the way to Chicago). The only time there was no one in the dance floor was for our dance and the toasts (even during dinner the kids were just dancing away). I cannot even tell you how happy I was with him. They provided tv's and audio for the company and we couldn't have asked for anything better. People were enjoying the vibe so much that some of them asked where the dance floor was (not dance floor at a work event) so that means that our guests as much as our employees enjoyed the music. Both Will and Enzo are very polite and made sure that we had everything set up before the event. Definitely would rehire and recommend.

At first we were thinking of not having a DJ and just using my MacBook Pro for music. However, due to the suggestion from the venue staff at Brookside Gardens to ensure good audio especially with our plans to be outside (though we ended up indoors due to the near freezing temperatures) we started interviewing DJs both from the venue's recommendations and on WeddingWire to see all they had to offer. We found Hercules Entertainment on WeddingWire and got to meet with Will on Zoom who showed us a presentation of all Hercules Entertainment had to offer. We chose Hercules not only because the prices were a good deal for great experience and enthusiasm, but also since in the uncertainty of COVID and the Omicron Variant, they would livestream our event for only a couple hundred dollars more. From the keyboard we rented from them for our aunt to play, to the excellent audio and amplification for the ceremony and reception, to the high quality live-streaming, to the DJing, to the MCing, everything made our day go even better than we could imagine. The livestream remains online and we are able to relive that day with it until our videography is ready. Dozens of friends, coworkers, and family who could not attend in person enjoyed watching the livestream which was of excellent quality. All 56 of us guests attending in person stayed for the reception and loved Will as a DJ and his wife who played numerous favorites including The Horah, The Humpty Dance, Cha Cha Slide, and my wife's favorite, Taylor Swift, who's hit Lover was featured during our first dance and Shake It Off during the bouquet toss. We totally recommend Will and Hercules Entertainment for your big event anywhere in the DC Metro Area.
