So... this review is a little bit overdue. It has been two since Dj Theo703 dj'ed our wedding. To be honest, at the beginning we just thought about renting speakers and equipment and have my niece man the very eclectic playlist we had put together as our families tastes in music are so different (I am Peruvian, my husband is of polish descent). Anyways, I put my foot down and decided to just have him DJ because I was getting TOO stressed out about the SIX HOUR of music we had to trim down. Knowing very well that the music can either MAKE or BREAK your wedding I asked for a meeting so we could discuss the very extensive playlist mentioned above. He looked at it (Spotify rules), literally told us what would work and I was happy about it... His deep knowledge of music preferences amongst Latin American countries is second to none in my opinion. Anyways, he showed up on time, set up everything, put up the lights, and just.... BROUGHT IT. The mix of music was enough to keep EVERYONE young and old dancing the night away. We even had a special request for the father-daughter dance which everyone had a kick off and he executed to perfection (started with the very traditional Blue Danube and then did a record scratch to "La Rebelion" by Joe Arroyo. It still has people talking about it. Our friends and family who attended keep on talking about how fun the wedding was and even our unmarried cousin said if she ever gets married, she will hire Theo (I hope he would go all the way to Chicago). The only time there was no one in the dance floor was for our dance and the toasts (even during dinner the kids were just dancing away). I cannot even tell you how happy I was with him. He made our wedding an unforgettable event and we are so grateful! My only regret??? The dancing could have last longer. read more

We found DJ Theo on Fb market place. At first I was a little hesitant to hire a dj for my wedding online but DJ Theo met and went way above our expectations. Before the wedding whenever I would have a question he would reply right away to my messages or email. He's very trustworthy and made everything so much easier. He was also accommodating when we needed to add extra stuff to our package last minute. He also came out to venue which he suggested himself as he wasn't familiar with our location. All and all, pre wedding process very smooth. Contract was signed via email and paid via quick books! Very easy!! During the wedding day was just as amazing. He helped set up outdoor speakers to play entrance music for down the aisle and exit music. He also helped with setting our pastor up with audio. It was a lovely set up. In the ballroom he kept the music dumping and people dancing all night. He was great with making announcements on the mic and helping guide the people to appetizers, main course, cake cutting etc. Dj Theo was a great additional to our wedding ceremony and reception and we are so glad we found him! He's not just some kid who Doesnt know what they are doing. He's a very talented professional with lots of experience, expectational Dj! this is coming from a desi Bangali bride and Colombian groom! While DJ Theo is a nice person and has talent, he broke our contract and ignored our wishes. My wedding was this past Saturday. Although Theo showed up prepared and on time, he breached our contract and posted not only pictures from the venue but from our ceremony as well. He posted on his instagram story and complained about the food he was given. He asked ahead of time what we wanted, we had asked him to stick to our playlist as we are very specific with our music. He introduced the wedding party wrong. Played the full first dance/entrance when we asked it to be shortened which lead to a very awkward dance. He started the wedding party entrance song in the middle when we wanted the beginning. We were supposed to have Sinatra and Elvis during dinner and we got katy perry and Michael Bublé. When it came time to cut the cake. He played the wrong song TWICE. He was great at getting people up and dancing but we told him to stick to a specific playlist and he played absolutely NOTHING on it. We went up to the booth and told him several times what to play and he chose to ignore it. Ultimately I would not hire him for a wedding if you want anything to go your way. We allowed him to take request via a text app. HIS OWN MOTHER requested songs. I guess that way he could say that someone requested it. read more

I used Theo for an event I had near Frederick Md and he was awesome! He was very quick to respond to any email I sent. And followed up appropriately. During the event, he as originally set up inside, but we had gorgeous weather so I asked him to relocate outside and he jumped at the chance to entertain my guests. DJ Theo played our wedding this weekend, and he was great! I planned the event mostly by myself which, as any bride knows, can be very daunting. DJ Theo made everything so easy. Once we provided a list of critical items (first dance, father/daughter and mother/son dance, and last song), he put together an itinerary for the evening along with links to confirm he found the correct version and sent it for approval. When he was unable to find the version of the father/daughter dance I wanted, I was able to send him a Youtube link and he pulled the audio directly. I didn't really have much time to put into the rest of the music selections, so I just gave him general guidelines (easy listening modern music for dinner, and good dancing music for the rest of the night). I don't know if he is a mind reader, or just fantastic at his job, but there was not a single song he played that I wished would have been different. Even during COVID, he had the dance floor lively the whole night! I can't say enough good things about DJ Theo and his ability to put together a fantastic evening of music and dancing! read more

We just got married in June and DJ Theo was an amazing DJ and Emcee. Throughout the entire planning process, he was extremely responsive, accommodating, and friendly. Guests kept coming up to us telling us how great our DJ and music was and how it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. He even helped coordinate an amazing surprise from the bride to the groom while keeping the timeline on schedule. Every detail, no matter how small, was important to him. Our scheduled DJ "no showed" for our wedding. It ended up being a blessing in disguise because DJ Theo was our "rescue DJ" and he kept it "turned up"! By time we finished our first course, he was set up and getting the party started. I would recommend NEVER booking with this DJ. 10 days out from our wedding he contacted us to let us know he was no longer available because he booked a bar for the same night. Paying him the same but for less hours. He also stood up meeting us at our venue to make sure it would be set up correctly because he was out in West Virginia gambling all night. (Being friends with her personal page told me this) His level of professionalism is terrible. Last night I was notified he did the exact same thing to an aqauntance of my fiancés. BEWARE!!!!
