We went for the mini-golf. Nice fun on a Sunday afternoon. Prices are reasonable - $8 for an adult, 18 holes. Beautiful ambience - waterfall, fish, fountains, etc. The wife and I won a free round for our next trip here. A majority of the holes were plain; as in lacking obstacles. Its an open course and hence prone to the vagaries of nature. It can get crowded on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon. So be patient with the little kid in the group ahead of you. We would visit this place again. We kind of have to because of the free passes. read more

Worst customer service out of any golf course i've been to. 15 and 16 year old twerps running the counter who have zero manners or respect for customers. I ask him about prices and this Tik Tok looking punk responds sternly with "we have one bucket" and gives me a dirty look. I bought two large buckets for a total of $20. When I was on the range, my driver head accidentally hit the ball off the tee as it was coming up, barely trickling the ball into the grass. I didn't even take a step onto the grass to retrieve my one ball that I didn't get to hit, and as soon as my hand touches the ball, the little twerp goes on the loudspeaker and yells at me, "put the ball back! if you hit that ball i'm kicking you out!" Are you kidding me, buddy? I spent $20, I don't need some little dweeb telling me I can't retrieve one ball out of the 100 overpriced balls I paid for. Not to mention, there was almost nobody there, so it wasn't a safety concern. On top of that, another kid working there goes around at 11:05, with about 15 people left at the place, telling everyone with an attitude "we're closing now". He told me on the phone they shut the lights off at 11:30. He also could easily have been like, "hey guys we're closing up soon, so get those last swings in" like a normal person, would who isn't an A-hole. I don't know what the owner is doing hiring these little Airpod-wearing punks with horrible attitudes, but it's definitely going to stick with me next time I want to hit a late-night bucket. I will definitely be going to Richardson's next time. Much better service and mats. read more

Ive been going down route 1 in the past with friends to hit gold balls. Decided to try this place out today, and what a good choice. The place was so clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and professional. It was a nice day, what else can I say. I guess I didn't give a fifth star only because I didn't hit em that great, so maybe thats not their fault haha. My favorite driving range in the greater Boston area! A bucket of balls is cheaper than most other ranges at $10. The environment is very family friendly and laid back. I never feel watched or judged when I hit a massive slice or skull the ball because most people seem to be learning as well. I never went golfing in any form before outside of wii sports and I must say that I had a fun time at the driving range. It cost you $11 for a large bucket with around 100 balls, which is a pretty good deal. There's always a lot of people there, but it's never any trouble finding a tee. Plus the fact that they're open til midnight makes it very appealing. I heard that there's a deal that for one price you can get all the balls you want in the mornings... "Hey, why don't we build a mini golf course that's only open on summer nights around a giant pool of stagnant water?" "Yeah. No one's going to get West Nile virus that way." And then there's actual golf course. Imagine you're on a roller coaster that has no ups or downs, or watching a Victoria's Secret model with a double a cup, and you have some idea of what you're about to spend your hard earned $7.50 on. If you liked "straight put", and "straight put with rock," You're just might shit a brick when you get to "straight put with corner." Straight put with 2 holes? Stop it mcgolf. My heart can't take this anymore after eating your overpriced charburger. Mcgolf also offers a variety of party and event packages. Need to offer your child the least memorable birthday party of his life? Wish you had just a few more mosquito bites to scratch at 3 in the morning? Looking for a date venue that can guarantee you not getting laid laid? Most businesses thrive by offering the best experience in their respective fields. Sound business methods be damned, mcgolf intercepted this principle and ran all the way to the opposite endzone. read more

I don't live too far away from this place and it is one of the only mini golf places in the area. First let me say this is one of the cleanest most manicured courses I have seen. It is always nicely landscaped and has a large pond with lots of fish to feed and just a really nice spot. It is 18 holes and is spread out pretty nice with a some really challenging holes. The only complaint I have is that there is not one obstacle in this entire course. Sure there are hills and a few tubes and some inclines but no buildings, windmills, walls or anything to get in your way. That makes it kind of boring. I am used to a course with at least something in the way. Other than that the prices are okay and there is even a driving range close by. Not bad for being local. read more

I have to give this place a High Five. I have been to other driving ranges before but this place was amazing. The moment I got down from the car, I was excited to hit or most likely miss some balls. I came here at night and it was perfect. Breezy and open-air (yep. rain would be your worse enemy here). I wouldn't come here if it's too hot in the afternoons unless that's your thing. The wait is not a problem as there are a lot of spots to tee off. The place is V-shaped wide so you can see where your balls are going to end up in, whether it's left right or center. It's not one of those driving ranges covered by nets at the very end to catch your balls. Hit it and see it soar. read more

They added heated bays this past winter so that gets a big thumbs up from me now that that's like the only place where one can hit some balls in between Dec and April. A mediocre mini-golf course is a nice break where one could work on their putting (though there's never as many windmills on actual golf courses!). It gets kinda packed during the hours you'd expect it to. They also have a decent customer loyalty program where you get like a total of three free buckets after buying I think 20 buckets. I had been going to mcgolf Dedham for 10+ years but they changed the mats and now have limited bays (12/60) for left handed golfers. Since I am a leftie, I had to go to the very end of the driving bays to get a slot. I will not be back. read more

This is a great place to spend an hour or two. The miniature golf course is very well kept - there's hardly any litter around. The holes vary in difficulty and there are some pretty creative ones. I love the pond in the beginning of the course. My only miff is that towards the end of the course - around hole 15, there's a huge backlog of people waiting for their turn. I think part of the reason is because some people speed along the course without really playing the game. Kids can come crawling onto your course so you should keep an eye on your ball at all times. Well-behaved kids should be rewarded with the largest ice cream sundae at the snack bar. read more

I've been to Mc golf many many times, as they are the only game in town. It's great for the for the average Joe hacker to go out and beat balls. But if you're a low handicap golfer trying to hone your skills and work on your game this isn't the place as the balls are cheap and very inconsistent, not true in flight or distance as well they lack good targets with variety of distances marked on them. Again I have been here many times as it is the only range around. It appears all the other amenities are up to snuff. read more

A bucket of balls were $9 which is a bit pricey because richardson's was $11 for a large and it was significantly bigger than mcgolf's bucket. Driving range has marked yardage, and you can look at each stall for laser-measured yardage. They are open late (until 11:30pm in the summer-well the last bucket is sold at 10:45), and the range is well lit. The downside of playing at night is that the mosquitoes will attack you ruthlessly if you don't have bug spray. So bring bug spray. The range is slightly overpriced ($8.50 for around 56 balls), but given the proximity to Boston that is to be expected. Can get crowded on a nice day. read more

Nice driving range and a Friendly staff with great hours. 4 stars because the lefty discrimination at this place is brutal. There are 4 lefty tees out of probably 80 tees total. So if you're like me and hit lefty be prepared to hit away from your group or wait a while to hit. read more

I like this place but I never get enough balls. I finish hitting my bucket of balls in like 10 minutes and then I don't feel like buying another bucket because is it worth it? I don't know. I will say that it is beautiful and well managed for driving range and my friends like the food (s/o to kayokay and superjames). I am not a big golfer, but my roommate is. He regularly visits the driving range, and I have accompanied him quite a few times. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, and the driving range is well maintained. Snack bar and adequate seating for family members who just want to enjoy the nice weather. Also has Mini Golf (which we have yet to try) next door! $300+/yr for access to short game area is a little pricey. read more

pretty fun, but i noticed that there are very few kids on the mini golf. i think the lottery thing at the end is rigged! in the summer, i wish they would do something about the mosquitoes. driving range is pretty good. i thought it was funny that there were literally hundreds of balls 2 feet from the tees. then i tried hitting some balls- i was one of those guys. you can scoop up some free balls if you aren't afraid of getting hit by really bad players. overall pretty fun place(hope i don't have malaria). read more

This place is so classic! A great mini golf course that's hilly, interesting, and big enough not to feel insanely crowded--even on a Saturday. I like their driving range too, but I'm horrible at golfing so don't take my opinion too seriously there... They have a little food shack and restrooms too, so you have everything you need. Only downside is the microscopic parking lot that can barely fit all the mom vans and SUVs. Otherwise, awesome place. read more

I am NOT a golfer, but I sure do like trying. We go here often because it is open late, close by and there is always a bay (or whatever the golf term is) open. I can barely get the ball out 10 feet and my swing is terrible, so maybe I shouldn't even write this review! We have never tried the mini-golf, maybe we should since that is more my speed. Had a decent golf experience (low quality clubs, lots of bugs) with great company, but the evening was totally ruined when the manager acted brashly following what I can only assume was a misunderstanding. He yelled at my friends and I to leave the premises immediately and threatened us while we were regrouping in the parking lot after our session. This place has it all! Well maintained chipping/putting area with instruction and friendly competition on Tuesday and Thursday nights for members by Eric, who is awesome. If you need lessons, definitely make time with Eric! He's patient and gives great tips that are incredibly helpful without getting over technical. This is a great range. They added heated bays which made getting out there a few weeks ago pretty easy. As a result when the warm weather hit, I was ready for the course and not the range. Only reason this is not a 5 star is new policy keeping you off the practice area without a season pass. When they opened the practice area you used to be able to purchase a day pass but no more. Understandable with the high attendance this place gets but just a little disappointing to look at such a nice practice area and not use it. But for range purposes this place is great. read more

What a set up! Organized and ready for sun, shade and cold! Very friendly helpful staff, free golf clubs, and many bays to swing away!. The miniature golf course is lovely but very poorly designed and constructed. Sure you can have fun just knocking the ball around but it's annoying that none of the surfaces are level and the walls are made of very rough granite blocks and stones so there's never a true carom. And not very imaginative or creative or fun hole designs if that's what you're looking for. read more

The best place in the area to relieve stress and improve on either your short or long game. Usually packed with people, best time to go is around 10:30 if you can wiggle out of the office for a few. I have brought the family there to play mini-golf and ending with an ice cream treat is not a bad ending either. Like I said it gets busy but that tells you it is worth stopping in. read more
