Ae seems like a nice enough person, and he helped me with my swing. Other staffers at GolfTec were also quite helpful and qualified, but I cannot defend the way Ae talks to children and acts in front of them. It was extremely disappointing to find out GolfTec had hired someone who should not be allowed anywhere near children, and probably some adults. Golftec, please, do the right thing. Looks like a couple were taken out maybe being redone? Or we just missed it but I'm pretty sure we didn't miss them. This isn't the obstacle style one with the dinosaurs, windmills, clown mouth. It's a simplistic, more...... clean? Style putt. Has the bumps, turns, nature in your path, but not the frills. Enjoyed our time. Quick and easy. Groups of 5 technically are allowed but we saw groups bigger. With 2 people you can rip thru the course pretty quickly.

Even though the course is in pristine condition, it does get very backed up and rounds can take a while. On a positive note, everything else is amazing about this place. The food is fantastic, the club house is scenic and beautiful, and the service is always friendly and well organized. The people at this club know the right kind of personal to hire, and the right kind of members to take in because every time I am here with my family friends and other friends who are members, I always have a wonderful experience. Brae Burn also has the perfect mix of golf, and social events, which is perfect for a country club. Not to mention a beautiful pool and tennis facility not far from the clubhouse. Also with indoor simulators for the winter months! Would definitely recommend if you live in the Newton area if your looking to join a country club. There's something for everybody!
