A true Donald Ross gem--public, historic, and surprisingly challenging!…read more GeorgeWright is a classic Donald Ross-designed 18‑hole municipal course carved into rugged HydePark terrain. Despite being public, it delivers a layout and conditioning that rivals private clubs--tight fairways, blind approaches, rolling greens, and a dramatic clubhouse that recalls Ross's golden era. It's notoriously popular--booking weekend tee times is tough, and pace can lag during peak play. But for the blend of design pedigree, value, and historic charm, it's absolutely worth a spot on your golf must-play list .
