No problem, we are easy going and hey we had a beer and we're just happy to be out. The place was awesome, great beer selection, great set up, booth, and even had individual nest thermostats for each booth. It was awesome. We assumed since we got in 20 mins late, that it would just roll over til 5:20. At 5:00 on the dot an employee walks and yells "HEY GUYS 5 WRAP IT UP" Okay, I thought he meant 5 mins just a heads up...okay it's early but no worries. We said we would finish the hole...10 seconds later "HEY DID YOU NOT HEAR ME LETS WRAP IT UP GET OUT" At that point I was pretty frustrated...did he just speak to us like that? So we headed out and I said to the guy, thought you meant 5 mins sorry! And he, to be quite frank, was a miserable A Hole. We left, and he pushed us out ASAP. I went to check out with the guy we checked in with! He charged us for the full two hours. I asked "did we actually get in at 3? We definitely didn't." He said "please swipe" and I also said the other employee was incredibly rude. He didn't care, I swiped, still tipped the guy and left. This place had the worst customer service I've ever seen. We are a group of 20 something dudes out drinking, we aren't Karen's. We don't care if you needed us out at 5, that's fine! The way they spoke to us was uterrly insane. And so weird. The place was awesome but to be honest we aren't coming back. It was absurd and surreal how douchy these guys were. No chance we go back. Incredibly amounts of disrespect, and your employees are a holes. I can't believe as a 25 year old I'm Spending my saturday night typing this. Should be all you need to know!

We ordered oysters, the strawberry salad and Cobb salad as appetizers. The oysters tasted fresh and the salads were big and flavorful. For entrees, I got a 7oz tenderloin with broccoli and asparagus and my host got haddock with potatoes and asparagus. Overall, it was cooked well and the vegetables were good. Had a surprisingly good time here. Have been here before with slow service and sub par food. However, after this outing, I am eager to come back.

we basically picked cedar hill off a list of nearby par 3's. it's owned & operated by the town of…read morestoughton. they have a small clubhouse and pro shop. the course is just okay. most of the fairways are dried up, and a few of the tee boxes had so few blades of grass i probably could have counted them. the greens were nice though, even and not too fast. it'd be nice if they printed a little map of each hole on the scorecard so you know where the green is. the 1st and 9th holes are both dogleg left and you can't see the green, let alone the pin. the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th holes are all parallel to one another, and there's hardly any trees to break them up, so it can be a little hinky. for two of us it was $54 to play all 9 holes with a cart. not too bad, but i'm sure you could find a nicer course in the same ballpark.

Course conditions were nothing short of perfection, from tee to green...yet rugged around edges of bunkers and wasteland. I say rugged in a good way, Hanse delivered a more natural course here, a minimalistic track, yet advanced and technical at the same time. The bunkering appears like imperfect holes were dug and what was left, was what is there now...felt similar to the bunkering to that of Doak. The landscape is dreamy: wooded, slopey, rocky quarries, paths through the native grasses. I felt like a was meandering through God's country, peaceful, tranquil, real. The tips demand a fairly straight driver of the golf ball, and hopefully a long one. Having lots of six irons and 5 irons in made it a bit harder for me to have many good looks at birdie, next time I gotta turn up the heat and send it a bit more. The setting of the place, where each hole is guarded on both sides by woods, makes it feel confined, so playing the smooth and straight game seems necessary, although on most holes, there is more room than it appears. The people I met there were all exceptional. You know, the kind of people that wanna be where they are and doing what they are doing. Christian, my looper, was the perfect draw. He knows the game, and is a player himself. I had a blast talking through each shot, strategizing. "Cut it off the tree line," Christian would say. And then thinking like a tour pro, my very amateur ball would try to behave. Loved every minute of it. Great thing it's a walking only course, a cart would have diminished the value of my game there. The caddie master gave me a warm welcome upon arriving. Boomer (great name), the Head Pro, is one of those guys that looks you in the eyes when he talks to you, and you know you're not just wasting his time. I wish Utah had a club like this. We've got some great places to play golf...but not like Boston Golf Club. Don't let the unassuming entrance fool you, what lies up that skinny road is a treasure waiting to be had.

I have to second the sentiment that this club does things right. It is a short drive from Boston however it feels like your in the deep woods of western MA. The clubhouse and facilities are great and they are all focused around the golf. The course itself was in phenomenal condition. Our caddie was great and really helped me navigate around the course for my first play through. The holes were all memorable and can be played multiple different ways. The course is tough but playable and you can find errant tee shots more frequently than you think. It is the best course I have played in MA to date. The pro Boomer could be the nicest pro I've ever met. He is a great guy and represents the facility well. I can't wait to be in a position to join because this club gets it. It's all about the golf and the golf is amazing.

I Play Shining Rock CC, Poguey Brook CC, Juniper Hill, Highfield CC on Friday's all summer for around 45-55 dollars, senior rate, riding and these are all 18 courses in MUCH better shape. Even though it is 9 holes, it is a challenging course with excellent greens. The golf pros are fantastic and very friendly.
