I went golfing here a few days ago. A ranger approached us on the 16th hole and admonished us for…read moreallegedly driving the cart in the restricted area. He spoke to my friend and I like we were 5 years old. Although we were sure we only drove the cart where it was permitted, we apologized and assured him it was unintentional. He continued to be rude and demeaning. After he rode away we backtracked to check the signage and we did NOT enter the restricted area. I was so upset and flustered we didn't finish the final few holes and left. I did tell a very kind gentleman (Dave) in the clubhouse what happened. He offered to refund my money which I declined. The way we were treated was unwarranted even if we had made a mistake, which we did not. I doubt I will be returning to this course to play again. Nor will I pay for lessons here which I had done previously. There are many other courses that have employees that treat their customers with respect. Hopefully this is just one bad apple but unfortunately one is sometimes more than enough.

Especially if its during sunset and its a clear night. This ballroom/ golf course/ club is located on top of a big hill and so you can deff tell its on a hill. The drinks were good from the bar at the ballroom and the food that I had was fine. Nothing special but my friends enjoyed the shrimp/poke station. The outdoor area in the front was nice too. Views all around were amazing. You could see Boston from here. Not sure when I would be back here.

Luckily for me, my racket simplified things for me by having the suggested string and grip imprinted right on it. As well as the recommended tension range. I took my selections up to the corner by the putting green and paid upfront for my materials and the $14.99 for the tennis restringing. They only restring on Mondays and it should be done by 3pm, I was told. Sounded like a plan! When I went back for my racket, it was ready and waiting for me!

Joe Beck said "Let's hit a few others in the simulator to see what fits and feels better." In 30 minutes, we found the ideal club. The return policy is excellent. I shop here regularly because of the excellent customer service. My sons and I got fitted for new clubs and were treated like lifelong customers. The customer service attitude is superb throughout the store. We love shopping and talking golf with the staff here. Try it and you'll see!

Envision an overweight man with a poorly dyed, Costanza-like head of hair. He is a HORRIBLE employee. Almost as bad, is having to feign attention to Frank as he feebly attempts to conjure the appropriate English words. You would think Black Rock would want a better face to greet the beloved members/guests. Also, don't try to sell your Black Rock house without having to go through Midge Durgin. A great friend of mine negotiated the return of his membership fees ($50,000) by letting Midge represent him in the sale of their house. (Those $1k plus monthly HOAs are a tough sell with the food they serve) Being the membership manager entitles her to brokerage fees that I genuinely doubt she'd yield without holding the keys to the Black Rock Golf Membership.
