Absolutely the worst customer service. If you like getting yelled at by the owners then this is your place. I'll never use them again.

We had to get the year my father died etched onto his urn so that we could get his urn to the mortuary. I called ahead and asked if this could be done the day I called knowing it was short notice and willing to pay extra. I expressed that we were in a hurry. the person I spoke to said he could fit it in. I assumed he meant that day since I had mentioned the urgency of the job. That part is completely my own fault because I didn't confirm a time frame. My main issue was when I called the next day to check on if my fathers urn had been finished I spoke to a different person who when i asked about if it was done and again expressed the urgency of the job he asked "well when do you need it by". I responded with "as soon as possible". He chuckled and said "well what does that mean?". what do you mean what does that mean? it means i needed it yesterday like i had mentioned to the other guy. I wasn't asking for the font to be perfectly matched, or anything fancy. I was literally asking for 4 numbers to I could get an urn to a mortuary to be used. I'm willing to admit I'm not also at fault for some of the confusion on time frame, but guy we are talking about an urn. I just lost my dad, dont be a smart ass with me. we got recommended to a place in Santaquin that got the job done inside an hour and even offered to drive the urn to the mortuary for us. read more

I don't know that I've ever had a better experience at a local business anywhere than I had at McGee's. I took over 20 pens I had turned on a lathe to be laser engraved by Kreg. What an amazing man he is, and his skills are incredible. He made time to do my order and did such an exceptional job. My pens, which are Christmas gifts, are so enhanced by Kreg's engraving--his skills made them go from 0 to 60. I can't say enough about the customer service at McGee's. I live in Oregon and will always come to McGee's or send things to the business for their expert engraving and for the customer service! read more

We have been very pleased with the etching that has been done for us. Kreg has been wonderful to work with and has been very helpful in helping us select material and etching processes to use when our company etcher went out. We have been so impressed we are not going to fix our company etcher as we prefer the quality of the tags he is etching. We have been sending him a batch every week for about a month now and will be returning. read more

It's hard to describe the feeling I got when dealing with McGee's. This was by far the worst costumer service I have ever got and it made me shake with frustration just thinking about the ordeal I recently went though. Several months ago we found out one of our soldiers (Army) was set to retire this December so we took up donations in our unit to get him a saber on a plaque. I told to try McGee's and thought they would be a good choice to get this plaque made. However it turned out to be a nightmare experience. The owner Kirt did not write down what I wanted; a wooden plaque with hooks to hang the saber, with the solider name and years he served written on it. He recommended a laminate plaque and I took his recommendation. I was quoted that it would be done within a month, more than enough before the retirement ceremony. However that was the last I heard from McGees. When the deadline approached I called to find out the status and the receptionist relayed the message that it was going to be late. It's not even the lack of apology that bother me as so much as the fact I never got a courtesy call that it was going to be completed later than expected. This situation replayed over and over, even the week of the solider retirement ceremony I called and was only then told that the parts were just ordered and they just got the part, and again no apology for the delay. Two days before the ceremony and still no word of the status. The ceremony came and went. I felt like I failed him, years of hard work and dedication and he left with without a symbol of appreciation. So I went to MgGee's yesterday and asked what happened, Kirt interrupted with reply "we just got it done." What he pulled out almost brought me to tears. The saber was on some kind of flimsy board that bowed when he carried it. The hooks looked like they were constructed with lego pieces and no name plate to be found. Unacceptable. So I said "this look nothing like what I was told I was going to receive, I really don't want to pay for th"..... then was cut off (btw, he cuts you off in the middle of a sentence often). In what I can describe as a grown man tantrum he simply trusted the saber at me (not treating mind you) turned his head, said something rude under his breath and he stormed out of there to the back room. Well at least I got my sword back, and it only cost me time, gas money, stress and disappointment. What this place needs to improve on is communication. I would not be as upset if I got calls saying the saber was going to be late instead of me calling to find out the status. If I got an apology for the delay instead of eye rolls from the manager I would have had some respect for the shop. But the manager made me feel so worthless, that he did not even care. I will never go back to this shop and discourage all from using McGee's as well. read more

I've been doing business with Mcgee's for about 5 years. I'm a regular customer. While I'm not their biggest customer I've been a loyal customer and given them a fair amount of business. I cringe every time I have to go into the store to pick up my merchandise because the customer service is horrible. They have this attitude that everyone is beneath them. They are about as unpleasant as you can get. For awhile I would send my employees to pick up our orders so I didn't have to deal with them but they kept coming back asking not to be sent there again. I'm not sure why I did business with them for as long as I did, I guess I was hoping they would get better. One day I had a complaint and wrote Kirt the owner an email and he never replied back. I'm done and will take my business else where. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

McGee's Stamp and Trophy is a class act. Last year, a few days before Christmas, Mick & Allan from KBER 101.1 called me up and said I was going to have a Christmas wish of mine granted and McGee's was going to give it to my family. They were so generous. They made a beautiful headstone for my daughter who passed away the year before. McGee's did a great job and had it done in less than a week. This a great gift from McGee's. We just had the weirdest and most unprofessional experience at this business. I had one of my team members call to get pricing on an item someone else in our company had ordered before. We wanted 25 pieces of an item and we needed it by eod on Friday for shipment to our event. This was Wednesday mid morning. Kory/Joshua said they would have to do some research on the pricing and get back to us. After 2 more phone calls from us and several emails, as we weren't hearing from them, they still would not give us a price. I then sent them an email to Kory/Joshua (the email address was Kory but the signature was Joshua) in response to an email they had sent my team member that they still didn't have pricing, that if we didn't hear them by 1pm (on Thursday now) that we would have to move on to another vendor. Shortly thereafter, my team member forwarded me the following email (keep in mind we only wanted 25 and they were told that): Pricing for 30 chrome aviator headphones: 30@149.95= 4,498.50 tax 308.15 Next Day Expedite Shipping 300 Total= $5,106.68 We had been informed earlier that morning that they had ordered the headphones and they arrived that morning, with no pricing known by us or an order or deposit or even informing us that they were going to order them. I emailed them that this was WAY over our budget of $50 per piece and that we would not be able to move forward with this order. Shortly after that my team member told me that she had a conversation with him and that Kory/Joshua said that he had felt threatened by my email telling him we had to have a price by 1pm or we needed to move on. To top it all off, I just found out that we had another order placed and product in with McGee's through another department of my company and that Kory/Joshua had called the person in charge of that order and told her that she had to come pick up her product that they weren't going to be able to do business with us. Completely unprofessional and immature. If I ran my business this way I would be out of business. Saddest part, they lost a TON of business from us by doing this. This order was only 25, but there are a lot of times that we order thousands of pcs at a time. Hope they can get it together! read more

ordered some stamps, told it would take 2-3 days, a week goes by, before i here from them, and there way wrong, the only thing right almost is my name on the order, so they said they would have it fixed the next day, 4 days later i call them, and while its not done they will have it done, in thirty minuets, when i get there there still finishing it up, witch isn't the end of all things, but the girl who rang me up, commented on the note saying, they wanted to charge me for the stuff they messed up on, but she wouldn't do that, witch i and thankful for, but they are the ones, that messed up, by not reading and fallowing the instructions, why should i pay for it ? read more
