We had an overheating issue with our Samsung fridge that we had a repairman look at and diagnose…read morethat we needed the fan replaced. Ok fine. They came back and input the new fan. It was supposed to return to a normal temperature within 24 hours. After a day, the temp hadn't changed at all. So, we finally get the repairman to come back in about a week, and he states we also need the condenser fan in the back replaced. Mind you, he was googling the issue and calling others to try to find a solution - not something that instills confidence in the company for me as a customer. So, we replace this condenser fan to no luck with a temperature change. Disappointed again, we had to push hard to get a different repairman to eventually come out. It's now been just under a month since we first had the issue - without a functioning fridge this whole time. The new repairman recommends a new control board, which we later replace to again no success with fixing the issue. Overall, I was very disappointed in the repairman's technical skills, and the company's inflexibility with having repairman coming out to look at our fridge given the situation dragged out for nearly a month. For how much money in repairs the company recommended we go through with over the 3 repair visits, we were close to the cost of a new fridge. This is the biggest issue I had with the company - that the issue was not fully diagnosed...initially or ever. Our decision likely would have changed from repairing to replacing the fridge. Luckily, the company was nice enough to refund us a portion of the repair costs we paid after we expressed these concerns. However, we had to part ways after all of this since nothing was being resolved, unfortunately.

The 2nd was most recently when our dryer kicked out the breaker as it was brand new we thought there was a malfunction on part of the dryer. So when the technician came out he found out that the outlet had been wired wrong by our electrician(ABI Electric). Then the electrician who wired it came out and tries to tell me it was a faulty outlet. That was NOT true. The appliance repairman told me he checked the outlet and it should have read 240 but didn't. So now we caught him(ABI) in a bold face lie. Not only was he incompetent but a liar. Thank goodness we have honest people who report the situation as it really is so we can deal with our issues when we need people who do their job and not cover up their mistakes by lying. Vlad #2 was the expert this time and he gave me the rundown for what happened and how he fixed the issue. I was happy with the final cost for the repair. One of the things that I like about the gentlemen at ARC, besides knowing their stuff, is their flexibility. I work a lot, so my schedule is difficult to maneuver around most repair peoples' schedules. Vlad was able to accommodate me and come out on the same evening that I made the request on Yelp.
