They wanted me to replace my entire unit for $7000. I then consulted Air-Rite for a second opinion: Ephraim did a really thorough inspection and identified a clogged drain that the other company didn't catch. Ephraim determined that the rest of the unit was in good order and cleared the drain. He also meticulously cleaned up the area. My HVAC has been working great ever since. Isaac came out to service our HVAC system so it's ready for the fall/winter season, and we cannot…read morestress enough how ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL he was. K&J originally installed our unit and serviced it every season, but last year we decided to try a different company because we weren't happy at all with the technician we regularly dealt with. This year, the other company didn't have any openings when we wanted to schedule, so we decided to give K&J one more shot and were relieved to learn that technician was no longer there. From the moment Isaac walked in the door, we liked him very much, and he just continued to wow us. Honestly, there aren't enough words to compliment him, but here are just a few that come to mind: PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, RESPECTFUL, PATIENT, PERSONABLE, TRUSTWORTHY and WELL-SPOKEN. He thoroughly explained everything he did and found, answered all of our questions, made recommendations and left our home better than he found it. He has only been with K&J for about four months, and I hope he'll be there a very long time because he is the only technician welcome in our home from this point forward. My next-door neighbor, who is NOT easily impressed, happened to be over during the visit and was blown away by the quality and level of service Isaac provided and plans to request him as well. Isaac said he was happy to receive a "gold star," and we told him he's actually PLATINUM LEVEL. :) Thank you for the amazing experience!

I trusted that they 'd do the job and look for the leak to fix it properly given the amount of money paid. I did some research afterwards and realize that they simply inject the dye sealant package ($50 cost) to do a temporary cover up which highly likely I will see a leak soon. It is very disappointing. Here is the invoice showing how they charge for an hour work today. Charged $262.50 to inject the sealant, and charged refrigerant by $175 / lb. My AC is 6 years old. - Updated after talking to the owner of the company. The owner told me on the phone that it will cost me $2000 + if they are conducting the leak search . As of 10/03/2024. The AC has failed, less than 10 days they have "fixed " the leak. They absolutely deserve a 1-star review. It is a borderline scam company. Make sure you get a quote from them and have them explain what they do to your system before agreeing to allow them to do any job. Had another company came out and identify the leak at the condenser within 30 mins. It was obvious due to oil presents where it shouldn't . Dutchman fool their customers in my case. Learnt my lessons.
