Use to be one of the fastest McDonald's and one of my favorites but now I can't even go without having to wait at least 5-15 minutes. I'm always getting pulled to a waiting stall. Very annoying considering it's "fast food" service. read more

I would give a 5 star rating if they honored the lobby hours. As a dasher, I have often tried to walk inside before 10 pm to pick-up doordash orders only to find the doors locked. This not only causes me to lose a few positions in their always busy drive-thru but it leads to waiting longer for the customer's food sitting through the long drive thru traffic. It's otherwise a clean store, the staff is quite friendly and the food is great. read more

I do love me some McD's on occasion and that has grown more frequent now that the kids know what a happy meal is! This McDonalds is standard from an offerings standpoint and with a recent facelift. Nicer seating, bright colors and a couple self serve kiosks up front. As an aside, it's weird that we're moving as a society to being so isolated that you can go to McDonald's and not have to actually interact with anyone. We still like to order at the counter! As a dollar-menunaire, the McChicken and McDouble will forever hold special places in my heart! The food choices are the standard with the normal choice and fancy sandwiches that you only think about and that your wife orders. She's worth it! Food is alway stale even when you've asked for it fresh or when they pull you to the window or curb. if a delay is expected we as customers should be treated with fresh food, but no. The buns feel like they have been sitting for so long. When a big rule is to not pre drop the buns, but to wait until the order has shown up on the screen. The food they serve out of the heated cabinets feel and taste as if it has sat for hours, and it has because the managers are worried about getting in trouble for their waist sheets being to high. Coming from someone who has worked at this location for 4 years my main reasons of leaving was Thier management issues as in "making minors managers" and most importantly their standards did Not and still do not meet the standards of any other McDonald's in Yakima or that Greg and Jan luring own I am far from pleased every time I am served at this location. close this location fire every manager working there and start fresh. We walked in and I went to the register and immediately saw a bunch of employees in the back chitchatting with one another when was on her phone the others were just shooting the breeze there was two other employees that were kind of upfront instead of greeting me the one told the other tell her to use the kiosk I proceeded to tell them that I placed an online order and that I was paying with cash they looked bothered that they had to come up to the counter and help me as a physical customer I then told her that I had to place another order and I had to repeat myself for five times because she looked like a deer in headlights like she never taken an order before she had to walk back and ask somebody two different times because she wasn't sure about how to bring my order up which wasn't anything complicated by the way. I wouldn't recommend this place I would go to a different location but since it's so close to my house and my kids love McDonald's here we are. If the owners are reading this you guys should really just pop in one of these days and check up on your employees because it looks like they're pretty bothered to deal with any customers that come inside. The drive-through is hit or miss sometimes they're fast other times they make you sit and wait forever and then they give you half way cold food that's not even worth the wait. This is a well-run franchise. Parking is easy, the food is what you'd expect, the staff is friendly and it's clean. I always recommend the double cheeseburger. Back to basics, they always do it well. Okay here goes another review for a McDonald's. It seems that all the McDonald's here in Yakima have the worst and I mean the worst customer service. My daughter and I went through the drive-thru of this McDonald's and ordered some food and large drinks. Upon reaching the window to pay I let the young lady know that on our drinks we wanted light ice. This is her respond to me. She said "When I take you order the drink is already made". She didn't offer to redo it, she didn't offer to poke her head around and let them know light ice. She just took my payment and shoved me right on along to the next window. As I got to the pickup window there were chatting and talking I'm trying to get their attention so that I can let them know that I wanted light ice on the drinks. When she finally open the window I let her know that I was trying to get her attention to get light ice she said here are your drinks. Then she just stared at me and did nothing but blink, it was as if I was talking to a robot. She then said have a good day come again. I don't think I'm going to go back as a matter of fact I think I'm done with McDonald's and just out of respect I won't say why. But let's just say their competitors have way better customer service yes they're not the best but at least they have some common courtesy and respect. I gave this review a one-star but it really deserves no stars at all. I really hope the owners of these McDonald's read this review and do something about it. I know that all youth is not as disrespectful as most but there is a lot of them with no common sense and no respect. For those of you reading this who have children it all starts in the home if there is respect in the home your children will grow up with respect for others. And for the managers of this McDonald's all I can say is do your job you're doing horrible at it. Mcdonalds used to be one of my favorite places to grab a quick and cheap good bite to eat. Now they're terrible!!! How are you going raise the prices and make the product smaller! Their regular sized mcflurrys and fries are now tiny. If you want what used to be a regular but to them is now a large fry its bad quality either way. Their burgers are always smashed. Fries cold and too salty or not enough salt. Its crazy how bad Mcdonalds got. Not to mention the one on 1st street with the oldies feel to it is always dirty! Ordering was fast but I was asked to pull forward and wait for my meal. I waited ten minutes and it was given to the car in front of me. Five more minutes passed before that car stopped waiting for someone to come out and correct this and just left. The worker then tried to give me the order of the car that had just left and I waited ten more minutes before I got fed up, went inside, and told them to cancel my order. By this time at least five people behind me had gotten their orders and left and I was late to work. I'm a manager at a local fast Food Chain and I waited So long in drive though I had to call the store to ask to have someone take my Order. That is unacceptable. Then I asked for my fry's fresh because I was eating when I got home and not in my Car. At the window the lady did not smile or Great me. Also came across pretty rude. But when I got my food the fry's were cold. So I called and said I was coming back to have Them replaced and they said that was fine. When i returned she said it Was going to be a 10 min wait for frys. Being in fast food I know that is not true. Waited and waited and no one came to window. [side note] my driver window doesn't roll down so I step out of my car to project my voice inside and the lady comes over and yells at me to get back in my car and that I'm not aloud to get out of my car.
