The guy at the register was beyond his pay grade in customer service, but the rest of our experience was not so good: - the wait was long - about 20 minutes of waiting in the dusty wind outside. We ordered at the walk-up window, but the drive thru was equally slow (the order mic is only one car behind the pickup window, so they can't possibly queue/prep more than two drive thru orders at a time). - the burgers were all (4) cooked about five minutes past well done. They were hard to bite, hard to chew, and hard to swallow. Condiments helped, but not enough. Maybe this is (part of) why orders were taking so long. - the tater tots were beyond crispy - there was no potato left in them. It was fun for the first couple of tots, but then it had a really artificial feel to it - like those french fries that you buy in the potato chip bags. We regretted stopping here, and very much doubt that we will ever be back. read more

Stopped in for lunch, first visit. I had a Ranger with cheese and bacon, fries and a chocolate marshmallow shake. The burger is large with plenty of fresh cooked bacon, juicy patty, melting cheese and fresh lettuce and tomato, pickles, and a fresh bun lightly toasted; this was a delicious burger. The fries were hot, lightly salted, crispy on the outside; delicious. The shake had plenty of marshmallow so you could taste it against the chocolate. Incredibly frustrating & misleading problem with their "Specialty Burgers" menu. What they describe as "Grilled Chicken Teriyaki" IS NOT GRILLED. It's like four breaded chicken tenders, not grilled chicken breast. Not a healthy(ish) option, as I'd hoped. read more

I can honestly say that this food is absolutely delicious! My husband got the quarter pounder and he loved it - it was huge! Which in my opinion is great bang for your buck. (Aka - worth it). I got the tater tots and grilled cheese and it was also delicious. Sometimes places can use that really gross cheese that makes it taste incredibly processed, but not this place. This was a delicious and quick service place to stop off on the way back from a great road trip! Would definitely come again. read more

For years, we've driven by this place and for years we've never stopped because it was always busy or we needed to get home. We'd heard the lore surrounding the burgers and shakes, but nvm ever had a chance to drop in. This all changed after a bike ride last week! We rode the Greenway trail from Yakima to Naches last weekend and it spit us out right behind Laredo. With three hot kiddos and two hungry parents, this Oasis would allow us to survive - and boy did we! The shakes, burger, rings and ice cream were all hits! The Ranch Burger - I think the smallest they had- was HUGE! We shared one as a family and after pulling it out of the bag, it was so large I thought they got the order wrong. We got it with cheese and bacon - YOU MUST GET IT WITH CHEESE AND BACON! This isn't your lame microwaved two strips of sadness on there. This bacon is the stuff that makes your burly uncle say "Yep, that's Bacon!" I lost count at 5 strips of thick Wilbur and wow was it good. Sitting on the bottom bun like half a dozen hugs from friends after a long time away - I love you too Bacon! By I digress, it was an awesome burger! Beefy. Melty. Bacony. Delicious. Order it! The rings were solid, the shakes NEXT LEVEL - with their whole pieces of fruit and identifiable peanut butter leavings. This is a shake Wilford Brimley would go after. The ice cream comes in standard chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. It's scooped and, as our six year old stated, "Larger than my heart" as measured by his fist. The heart is roughly the size of a fist and this "small cone" was at least double cardiac size. We went through the walk up line and there's also a drive thru option. Expect to spend at least 15 minutes waiting and up to 30 when it's busy. It's worth waiting and was honestly one of the better burger/shake combos we've had in a long time! Ordered a jalapeño burger, onion rings, and a corn dog. The corn dog was good. Only $1 and change as well. Decent size. The jalapeño burger was a good size and had good flavor. The onion rings were overcooked, oily, and the onion was all cooked right out of them. It was basically just greasy fried batter. Pricey too. Pass on the onion rings. Workers were friendly. We stayed at a cabin nearby for the weekend. We were about to eat here Saturday night, but they only had outdoor seating, so opted for another restaurant on the main street. But I was determined to try this place due to the fact that they had corn dogs on their menu, and if you know me, I want to try all the corn dogs out there lol. So Sunday morning we waited around town for an extra hour just so we can grab an early lunch from Laredo. Two of our friends waited around with us, and all of us were blown away by this small town drive in! The only downside we experienced here was the wait. Someone had called in an order of 50 burgers before they even opened shop and the girls working warned us about the wait. So we opted to wait since we had already waited around for so long! We ordered: - corn dog ($1.85/each) - double onion rings - chicken strips - 2 single pattie ranger burgers - hawaiian burger special - Cookies N Cream milkshake ($2 for a 16 oz shake for their winter shake deal) - Peanut Butter Milkshake The corn dog was well worth the wait and I thought was the perfect amount of batter crisp and hot dog. Since a corn dog is small, I thought it was a good idea to order the cheapest burger on the menu, which was a range burger. Oh was I wrong that I thought it was going to be a small burger... I got it with cheese and bacon and the burger was huge! It was delicious! Cody's hawaiian was on a different level. He loved it. Julia and Sara also enjoyed their food too. Disappointed in the recent customer service at this place, I have tried doing orders here before only to be ignored, have the window shut in my face and even phone calls ignored. I hope they are able to change things in the future. I am not saying they have bad food, exactly opposite, just something different about the employees the past 6 months. Well Laredo- you made my husbands night!! He had never eaten here and we were on an afternoon drive to go up and see the elk... we stopped here and he was quite pleased! Your burgers are juicy, fresh , greasy.. (which is yummy to him) and Bid daddy's- they aren't your small little McDonald's burgers that's for sure. The shakes are great too.! Get extra napkins and transport the biggest burger you've never seen to an open area with a flat surface without wind. We stopped by this landmark icon on our way out of Naches following a swim meet. SWIMMERS, if you're super hungry post swim, this is your stop. We were craving a shake and burger, you know, comfort type food. There is a slight wait as they perfect the heck out of what looks to be a burger salad between two buns when it's finished. The shakes Old fashion thick shakes with your choice of flavoring. We choice Oreo which had the texture like a thick Blizzard from DQ but the taste of a shake from a 50s diner. The Burger Holy cow! There was a serious amount of meat on this burger. Strips of thick bacon, onion, deli style pickles, sauce, shredded lettuce, and to huge sesame seed buns. If this were a sporting event and the winner gets a grand prize, this burger would be it. Friendly staff, park and wait options, and a drive thru. There are a few picnic tables tables around the establishment and things are kept nice and tidy. We went on a 1500 mile motorcycle trip thru 3 states and ate out the entire time. We stopped for gas next to this place and decided to eat here before we continued on! We were all pleasantly surprised on how good the food was and portion sizes! It was just a bunch of young kids, but they beat every restaurant we had gone to throughout our trip! Me and my brother took a drive up to the mountains to celebrate my uncles 5 year passing. Rimrock was his favorite spot. We decided to stop in naches to get something to eat. We stopped at Laredo and man they did not disappoint. Their prices were affordable for what we got. The service was great and we got our food quick. We took a bite of our burgers and they were full of flavor, fresh, and juicy. Fries were hot and fresh, even our sodas were amazing, I am very picky about my soda. Stopped here on way to go camping. It does not look like much from outside but trust me the burgers are great. It looks like you can drive up and oder but do to so many customers we had to park. There is a walk up window you can order at. There were some hard working teens when I went. Order ranger burger with bacon and cheese, onion rings and tater tots. WOW. This burger was huge and I swear had half pound of bacon on it. This burger can easily split with 2 or 3 people. Tots with tarter were hot and crispy. The onion rings were larger and tender. They are batter rather then panko crusted. Panko is my favorite so these were not for me but that does not mean they were bad. Do t let the size or appearance drive you away well worth it. read more

This review has nothing to do with the food here. I absolutely love the burgers and shakes. Worth the wait. But here is my one complaint, and I'm very close to ending my business here. And for anyone wondering. I am willing to stop my business anywhere else I run into this same issue. It's the children that work here who feel entitled enough to actually ask me if I want to leave a tip. No, you get paid a wage to cook and hand food out of a window. I'm sick of being asked for more of my money. You already get paid enough to do a minimum job, that's why it's a good job for high schoolers, but to allow your kids to ask for a tip is so rude. A tip should be left for me to decide if I received a level of service beyond what is normally expected at any establishment. So no, I don't want to leave a tip. And you ask and then look offended when I say no. It's very clear the service attitude changes when you receive a verbal tip instead of giving them more of my hard earned money just because they think they should get more. Are you going to give me a tip for providing the service of keeping the road you drive on to get to work safe and clear? No, because it's my job and I receive a wage for the work I do. I highly suggest Laredo inform their employees that asking for free money at essentially a fast food joint is unacceptable and very rude. read more

The hamburgers that are served, there are among the best tasting in the valley. When coming home from the mountains late, it is a great place to stop and have food. They don't have much parking, but you can park out back. I highly recommend the Ranger burger. read more

Drive-Ins are one of my favorite places to stop - for some reason, the flavor & experience is usually better than the average burger joint. This time, Laredo did not disappoint! We'd been here a few times over the years, but hadn't been back in at least 4 years, but the timing of our visit was perfect - we were hungry, and it was just after the lunch rush. Looking over the menu, my wife decided on the Ranger burger with all the fixin's - ordered on the Medium-Rare-side. The burger came out perfect - deliciously juicy, all the right flavors, and none of the leftover ones from whatever was grilled previously. Just a PSA, however - You can't eat one of these burgers without having juicy goodness running down your elbows, so start working on your strategy for dealing with this accordingly, and you won't be disappointed. I ordered the Pork BBQ sandwich - fantastic flavor! I'd compare this to a pulled pork dish I've ordered at some expensive bbq joints, only this one was $6, rather than $15, with a small cup of potato salad thrown in for good measure... Did I say Fantastic?!? Who needs potato salad, anyways... The side of fries was pretty much what you'd expect for a drive-in, but we enjoyed them, of course. The big surprise was the iced tea - perfectly brewed, and strong; I'd order one every time. The town of Naches is known for some great fresh fruit stands. This place would be smart to add some seasonal fresh fruit shakes to the menu. I was hoping to find a Peach Shake, but the closest I could come to was a frozen blackberry syrup shake. If they decide to fix that one thing, I'm making this my go-to lunch place every trip through! Access to Laredo's is easy - being right on Hwy. 12, you won't have any issue getting there and finding parking. Just plan on finding a bit of a line most of the times you'd visit here on a weekend; it's that good. read more

I went here with my brother and my dad because his dad took him here when he was a boy, so it's kinda a tradition now:) So when we got here, we ordered a super ranger burger, a single ranger burger and a deputy burger. For a drink we ordered a chocolate milkshake to split. We also got a side of fries and onion rings. It takes a couple of minutes for the food to arrive, because they make it yummy and fresh. I really like how you can see when they are doing when they are cooking, because most of the wall is glass. When we finally got our food, I could already smell the food. The burgers are HUGE! The food is AWESOME!!! Definitely recommend it! I couldn't stop sipping the milkshake and munching on the food, if your driving near Naches, definitely visit here! My dad said his super ranger with cheese was super yummy! It uses a half pound patty on an oversized bun, nothing special, except the sauce which makes the burger one to remember. My brother said he loves his! of course he had a deputy burger with ketchup only, but he's the pickiest eater on the planet, so this is high praise! read more
