They share space with the sportscenter bar, but effectively function separately in a space adjacent to it. They've got a small footprint with 3 or 4 total tables, about half a dozen taps and some higher proof options. The pizzas they serve here were really really good - Like way better than we expected them to be good! We grabbed a couple pizzas including the Avenue and a mona Lisa. And as previously stated, my expectations were for it to be good, but not incredible... And these were incredible! The crust was done really nicely, there were plenty of toppings, and overall it was just really nicely done pizza. Perhaps the biggest showstopper were the fried cheese curds. You need only take a two second look at me to understand that the love of cheese runs very deep. He's cheese curds for about as good as anything that I had back in the Midwest. The only place that I may have had better cheese curds is in Wisconsin, basically where cheese was born! We are excited to go back and try some of the other pizzas that are creative in name and topping. They've also got plenty of other good looking pizza alternatives. It's rather impressive and was more than I expected to see. This is a worth your trip spot to check out!

We ordered the Dad Bod pizza, a salad, a Dark Persuasion stout , and a Guava cider. Everything was delicious. I also tried the RRR brown ale, but is was too hoppy for me. The staff was friendly and helpful with our beverage selections, This place is larger than it looks. Although there were lots of cars, there were still empty tables. There is a large outside patio area but it was a chilly evening do we opted for indoors. The setting is a modern chrome and black look. It was suite noisy. I think feed was a band outside but we couldn't hear it. All in all a pleasant experience.

But....after playing a few games of pool tonight with some insecure little boys.... One of these boys accosted me after identifying himself as an employee of the kiln and screamed in my face repeatedly that "everyone in the kiln knows you are creep and are taking pictures of girls." Repeatedly at the top of his lungs. Somewhat slandering a highly respected medical provider in this community that is beyond reproach. So.....the entire crew at the kiln talk shit about the patrons paying their wages. Like going to a barber who talks lies behind your back. Or better yet.....a little baby's sandbox. I have seen this before many times. Owners no longer present and the staff think they own the place. Believe me......my lawyer will be in contact. Peace out.

The people, the energy, and the overall vibe are amazing again. Most importantly the food has been fantastic. The pizzas have that quality and flavor that made us love this place from the beginning. After being disappointed for a while it's genuinely great to come back and feel excited about this place again. And for anyone complaining that the pizza takes too long, remember these are handmade, brick oven pizzas. This isn't fast food. Good pizza takes time, and in my opinion the quality is absolutely worth the wait. So glad to see HopTown back to feeling like HopTown. If you haven't been in lately, give them another shot. We're definitely happy we did.

They also have cider and wine that looked interesting I didn't try. I got their Exit 44 varietal pale ale. It was delicious and very unique. The carbonation was effervescent with a clean hoppy taste. Pizza was very good. Crust was a bit thicker than a New York style, as was necessary because it contained two types of delicious cheese and a nice amount of other toppings along with a fresh parmesan sprinkle. One pizza filled me up. The waitresses were fantastic. Left feeling satisfied. Glad I chose pizza this time instead of the Mexican food I usually get in the valley.

No other place exists where you design a pizza, it's roasted via a wood fire oven, and is all done under 15 minutes. This 15 minute mark starts when the first ingredient is added to the pizza by the way. Mod has a brand on the pizza market that isn't comparable to the other big names in pizza. There's an assembly line with customization much the same as Subway. The staff are enjoying what the do as they work much like Jimmy Johns. Here aren't TVs broadcasting sports events to distract conversation. Of the times we've visits, the music selection has been classic rock, 80s, and blues... I dig it. They've short tables, high tables (tables that require bar stools), long tables for groups, and a selection of tables outside with umbrella. They are located in a new upcoming area with lots of development. Starbucks, Jimmy Johns, Jamba Juice, Red Robin, Dickies, Icy Tai (AWESOME ice cream desert and bubble place), and Wendy's. There's a new hotel call Home 2 that is being built within walking distance. My Recipe BBQ sauce base with mozzarella, every meat except anchovy, olive, jalepeno, red onion, mushroom, sweet and spicy red pepper, and balsamic fig sauce drizzled on for a finish.

I don't understand her treatment and I wish we could take our previous tips back. The whole experience leaves a sour feeling , especially when I don't go out often! We supported this establishment throughout the pandemic by buying gift cards for friends and monthly filling growlers for ourselves! I did nothing to deserve my treatment. I am a former bartender myself and would understand if I had. I'm just so mad that the bartender made me feel so bad when I had done nothing to warrant the cut off. It was embarrassing! I added a star to my previous review because the owner contacted me and did refund our tip portion. After explaining state law about over service and that he stands behind his staff he told me that the manager and other patrons also witnessed me yelling at this bartender. I'm even more disappointed in this situation and the lengths his staff will go to for each other. I never yelled. I don't believe the 3 other ladies in the bar had any complaints either. I think my husband and I had just been there to long for this bartender's liking and that is all. I hope the owner's business is strong enough to withstand the staff's treatment of patrons. Make sure you use very hushed voices when enjoying yourself or you might get cut off too!
