When we arrived, there was also a group of about 10 people sitting at the long table near the entrance without any drinks. About 10 minutes after we sat down (we needed a stretch break from the long road trip) I went up and asked for a cup of iced water for my partner. The barista immediately asked, "Did you order a drink?" which caught me off guard because it didn't sound friendly and I've never been asked that. I told her yes and pointed to where my partner was sitting. It was disappointing to be questioned over a cup of water after buying a drink, especially on a day that was in the high 80s. What stood out most was the attitude. No smile, no friendliness, no effort to make customers feel welcome. Everyone behind the counter looked like they didn't want to be there. I've been a Starbucks Gold member since high school, almost 25 years now, and this was one of the least welcoming Starbucks experiences I've had. Customer service doesn't have to be over the top, but basic kindness and courtesy go a long way. Note to the district manager, check in on your employees.

We grabbed a seat inside and after perusing the very large selection of both breakfast and lunch items, I opted for a burger and my boyfriend the Biscuits & Gravy. The burger was really good, but the fries, those were absolute perfection. So damn crispy. Sadly I got full early and couldn't finish them or the burger. My boyfriend liked his Biscuits & Gravy and left absolutely stuffed because it was a rather large portion. This is a great place to stop on your journey as there is plenty of parking and it is right off of Highway 5. We'd definitely come back here next time we make our way up north.

I had scrambled eggs with crispy potatoes and extra crispy bacon AND Biscuits and gravy on the side. Delicious! I am only 135 pounds so I always have leftovers! The people were super friendly that were having breakfast! They have indoor and outside seating and doggy friendly! They also had beer and wine and mimosas. They have a great menu with lots of choices. I ordered an appetizer of crab wontons then a burger and fries for dinner. Everything was delicious! The bartender and the staff are all on point and the service was excellent. It's a popular place and started filling up by the time I was finished with dinner but it's did not get noisy and was still comfortable and easy to relax at the end of a day at the track. Although i don't consider it a "Super Center" it had a nice selection of fruits and vegetables along with meats. I was looking for a specific candle but they no longer carry it. The employees said they don't do oil changes at this location. They have very minimal furniture selection. Everything else is what you would expect from a Walmart. It appeared to be clean inside. BTW..they are remodeling so there is only 1 bathroom inside the store (by the front when you walk in). They did set up porta potty areas to the right of the entrance. I will visit again when I am in the area to see what they have as I wasn't able to spend much time in here today!

On the sixth attempt, a staff member came out with a pen and paper because the manager was "in a class," telling a dozen waiting applicants to just write their names and numbers down. * Time 7 (Saturday, Oct 17, 2026): Showed up 15 minutes early for a 9:00 AM interview. A manager told me the interviewer wouldn't arrive until 9:15 AM. At 9:15 AM, he came back out and said the interviewer called out. He took a copy of my resume and explicitly told me to come back on Monday when he and the GM would be there. * Time 8 (Today, Monday): I went back as instructed, only to be told "we don't do interviews on Mondays" and that they would call me if anything came up.
