The burger literally still had the wrapper on the cheese... It's not like it was lunch or dinner rush right now. This is just pure stupidity and really disgusting.

TRASH AND NAPKINS COVER THE FLOOR IN A WEST SACRAMENTO MC DONALS

First off, the seats at the booths are plastic... am I in the back of a police car or am I in a Mc Donald's, I can't tell. Second off, my spicy Mc chicken was stale and hard. Third I did not see a SINGLE employee wearing gloves. That does NOT follow the food codes of California and it is absolutely disgusting. Fourth of all, the television was glitching so I couldnt watch the news that was playing! The fifth issue I had was the floors were nasty and there was crumbs and napkins and trash just everywhere. Not an environment I want to come back to or eat food in. The final issue with my Mc Donald's endeavor is that I did not get a receipt because they didn't replace the receipt paper. The work ethic these employees have is pathetic and embarrassing. Do better Mc Donald's, or I'll see you in court.

WEST SAC DESERVES BETTER. Yea, I get it. its McDonalds and I know it doesn't have any Michelin Stars. BUT this place in comparison to other greater Sacramento locations just sucks. They continue to operate with only 1 drive thru speaker, they keep the other one closed at all times. I went by on Sunday morning cus I wanted a hashbrown and every single curbside order pickup was purposely being blocked. On the bright side. Now, I just don't eat McD's as much or EVER, unless I am out of the West Sac area cus all 4 of our locations suck.

Food. Service. Accuracy. Basic cooking. It's all missing here. Terrible example of following a simple step by step menu.

The people helping us were so fast and kind. We asked them what we should do later that night and they gave us good recommendations for out-of-towners. Our ice cream was delicious. There's an afghan market next door where we got bread to-go! It is a perfect spot!

Unfortunately, the service didn't match my expectations. After waiting in line, the woman at the register finished helping the customer ahead of me, then walked away without acknowledging me. I stood there for a bit until a young man noticed and kindly stepped in to take my order. I really appreciated his attentiveness and friendliness. While waiting for my two hibiscus lychee green teas, I noticed some confusion behind the counter. The employee preparing the drinks couldn't find the green tea and had to keep asking the same woman for help. She eventually took over, but the drinks didn't taste right. There was no green tea flavor, or lychee only hibiscus (I'm not saying she didn't add it, it didn't taste like it.) Honestly, the bigger issue for me was the lack of customer service. The previous location I used to visit always felt welcoming, so this was disappointing. A simple acknowledgment like "I'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. That said, I DO want to give credit to the employee who stepped in and helped me--he was polite and attentive. As for the woman with short hair, I hope she works on her customer service approach. I may come back to try the ice cream since I think it's Gunther's and that's always a safe tasty choice, but I likely won't be ordering the iced teas again. March 18,2026 @6:58ish pm

Just gave me the address and said "street parking bro... good luck." Pull up and this place looks like your childhood friend's house that grew up, got a little money, found peace and turned into a café . Super cozy, cool vibe and honestly just has personality to it. Walked in and instantly greeted by Elena and let me tell you... Elena wasn't taking orders she was basically an offensive coordinator drawing up plays for breakfast lol . I told her it was my first time and she goes "I got you." That's all I needed to hear. She hooked me up with the Berry Blossom Milk Tea, Ultra Violet iced coffee, blueberry muffin and the breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. Now the drinks? Solid. That Ultra Violet coffee had lavender, caramel and honey all entering the chat at once like they were forming the Avengers . Somehow it worked. Then came the burrito... now listen... at first I'm sitting there like "alright everybody calm down it's just a breakfast burrito." WRONG. This thing came out throwing hands immediately eggs, potatoes, bacon, avocado all packed into this perfectly toasted tortilla. Then the salsa showed up like a surprise guest star and took the whole thing to another level. I almost looked around for somebody's grandma in the back yelling "make sure that boy leaves full!" Sat outside watching the A's game, drinking coffee, enjoying the breeze and honestly it was the perfect Sunday reset. Steve my brother... you absolutely crushed this recommendation

So now, the only non-meat option that isn't a salad is $12 avocado toast (modified to be vegan) or a $13 veggie wrap with no protein. Thankfully they still offer non-dairy milk options for their beverages and grab & go vegan desserts which is great considering they could have removed everything and stuck with a traditional meat/dairy/egg based menu. It's a bummer because there are so few options in West Sacramento and now there are even fewer.

They have a parking lot but it's shared with other businesses and always seems to be full, however there's a good amount of street parking and I found a spot closeby no problem. When I walked in it was a lot bigger than I expected and they had a good amount of seating. There wasn't a line when I arrived, but that quickly changed after I placed my order and I feel like there was a steady stream of customers the whole time I was there. I was welcomed in and when I let them know it was my first time they recommended some items for me. I'm not a matcha fan, so I was more interested in trying their coffee. I ordered their date orange latte ($7), the twice hojicha ($7.50), and their simple avocado toast ($9). I had heard hojicha is a less grassy, more earthy/toasty version of matcha so I was excited to give it a try and see if I liked it more than matcha. Good news! Hojicha, at least the twice hojicha from Offbeat was delicious. I enjoyed the taste of tea and the aftertaste that matcha usually has for me wasn't there. I would 100% order this again. The date orange latte (iced) was also delicious and the flavors were perfect for our warm weather. The simple avocado toast had a thick piece of fresh baked bread with a generous layer of avocado on top. I don't frequently order avocado toast but it paired well with the drinks and is a great meal to start the day. I can see why this is a favorite for so many people and now that I've finally been in, I'll be back for more!

My lady and I ordered their BSL and Saigon Coffee. We were told it was their last day to get the BSL and it seemed hyped up so we gave it a try. It was not too bad! It was mainly a Matcha with banana syrup and little additions, I feel as if it was a little too overhyped. Their Saigon Coffee was a little lacking in coffee flavor & strength for my personal liking but it wasn't too bad! This place is definitely a solid Coffee shop in Sacramento for sure.
