Here's We visited Whataburger recently and, unfortunately, the experience was a bit of a letdown…read more We waited about half an hour for three burgers and a fry, which seemed excessive for a fast-food restaurant. While we were surprised by how large the regular burgers were, the taste was underwhelming. There wasn't anything particularly special about them to set them apart from other burger chains. I'm glad I gave them a try, but based on this experience, I don't see myself visiting the new locations opening nearby anytime soon.

We tried a little of everything.... burgers, breakfast biscuits, onion rings, fries, other things. Everything hot, everything well cooked, everything generously portioned. The burgers were EXCELLENT. The fries were hot and salted perfectly, as if this place actually CARED about what they were serving. Just absolutely an excellent food experience for the price. If they had a Whataburger in my area I would never ever have to eat any other burger -- that includes YOU, Five Guys, and you know how I feel about you! My only little complaint is the cheap styro cups they use for drinks. When I opened my lid, there were flecks of styro floating in my drink that had been abraded off the cup when they put the lid on. That needs to be addressed. Next time (if I get back to GA) I will say "no lid."

From the moment we pulled up, the service was exactly what you'd expect from the brand: friendly staff, efficient drive-thru, and a cheerful "my pleasure" to top it off. This time, I decided to try the new Spicy Pretzel Cheddar Club, and I've got to say -- it was a hit. The combination of the warm, slightly toasted pretzel bun with the spicy chicken fillet, melted cheese, and smoky bacon worked perfectly together. It had just the right amount of kick without overpowering the flavor. I ordered it as a combo, and everything came out hot and freshly made. My fries could've used a touch more salt, but that's likely because they prepped my fiancée's no-salt fries first. The sandwich, though, more than made up for it -- perfectly crisp and full of flavor. The restaurant and surrounding area were clean and well-maintained, and even though the line was steady, they moved it along quickly. In the end, this location lived up to the Chick-fil-A standard: fast, friendly, and reliable. Sometimes that level of consistency -- paired with a great limited-time sandwich -- is exactly what you're looking for.
