Slow service. The cashiers do not know how to use android pay or apple pay. It ended up taking 15 minutes in drive through because the poor drive through cashier pulled the machine out from the wall and they had to reconnect as well as reboot the entire cash register. I came all the way from Wayzata with my family and stopped for McDonald just for it be a 20minute wait.

I'm not sure how they maintain their franchise tag at this location. It is arguably the worst managed and staffed McDonald's I have ever visited. We go through two harbors pretty much every weekend and it has been horrible at least six times during this summer. I think the manager is focused on flirting with his employees. read more

Really Really bad! This weekend I was driving to look at fall colors. We wanted some snacks so we stopped here. Or rather we got in the drive-up line. We waited for about 10 minutes and it did not move at all. So I went in. I got to the cash register and no one greeted me. Or said anything. Everyone could see me because they were about 10 feet from me. They were talking about playing video games and complaining about all of the customers in the dive up line. I heard them mention some people had been waiting for over 20 minutes. But they were moving very slowly. Another guy came in and got in line behind me and made a loud noise and still no response from the staff. I said hello and the people ignored me. I turned to walk out the door and I heard a group "oh no" from them. Like they know its a bad thing to not pay any attention to the people in front of them but worse when you walk out the door? I have been an investor in McDonald's for a long time and have seen them have really good service. This location scares me for putting more money into McDonald's or ordering much from them in the future. If they care so little to ignore people in front of them how much do they care about your food or COVID safety? read more

This McDonald's is nothing special. Typical food service and care that you would expect from any McDonald's in the country. Even if you're lucky enough to get hot fries, be prepared to have the McGurrgles. They are very frequent here. Fast food options are few in this area, so in the summertime it's really crowded and wait times are long. Be ready to sit in the drive-thru with the a/c on. read more

Best iced caramel latte !! This one was stirred the whole time it was being made by ??? We didn't get any names So creamy, just the right sweet. Not a syrupy overly sweet mess. Oof. Waited nearly 30 minutes to get our food. Fries were in the bag upside down. Burgers were cold. We were compensated with coupons that we can't even use as we were driving through on our way home, 2 hours south. Won't be stopping here again on our next trip to Grand Marais. read more

As I was waiting in the Drive-Thru line, I was going to order the Travis Scott as I normally do everyday for lunch and dinner when I was told that I could not order it but I could order it within the app. I find this very unfair as I do not have a cellular device to order the Travis Scott on. The gentlemen I spoke with at the drive through had a very bad attitude and was not friendly or helpful whatsoever then to make things better the older lady at the window also had a terrible attitude and was not polite didn't understand there were two orders and was very rude to us this was the worst service I've ever gotten from a McDonald's will not return would not recommend the young girl at the second window was very polite. read more
