There were lots of contenders I wanted to go for (eg the teriyaki barbecue mushroom Swiss burger!), but I ended up deciding on the Chuck Norris + I definitely wasn't disappointed! (It is a lotttttt of food.) Aside from being a burger, it was also topped with ground beef and onion rings + we were able to choose different flavors of bbq sauce too! (My memory is failing me a little and I should've written this review sooner, but I believe there was their house bbq, apple, and blackberry!) Might have been blueberry? It was delicious + we def ended up having leftovers for the next day. We got fried mushrooms and cheese curds to split too! The decor here is fun + if you're looking for something other than a burger, they do serve breakfast all day + also have salads and sandwiches too! Service was friendly and pretty quick!

The cheese curds were good, but the ranch was definitely homemade, and the fries were good too. Overall decent, but wouldn't say it's the best place to go on the north shore.

We had a much longer wait for pie at Betty's, and were lucky to get a parking place at all. It was mobby, and it wasn't even the weekend! There was about a 10 minute wait to order at the outdoor window, and a 15-20 wait for our slices. Most of the people ahead of us seemed to be getting pie shakes. In addition to the apple pie slice, we bought a toffee cream one. We ate it soon after our visit. It was delicious. The pale crust reminded me of shortbread, the filling light, sweet, and creamy, with what seemed to be Heath bits throughout. It was great and surprisingly not filling at all. As for the apple pie comparison, Betty's version was more cohesive a crust and easier to eat, but it was also surprisingly bland. The thicker crust at the edge was dry, too. The fillings from both bakeries were quite close, both good. From Betty's, we liked the cream pie slice much more than the apple. For classic double-crust apple, Rustic was best between the two.

Worst service experience I have ever had…read more We waited 10 mins for hostess to see us, only acknowledged our presence once I confirmed I was standing in the right place to be sat. Then waited 15 more mins for "ready" table to be wiped... ok, they are busy. Server took 1/2 our drink orders, left. We went to the bar to order the rest of our drinks. Then waited another 15-20 to try and get our food order in, then had to go get server and ask. Never once check in n us again. Then sitting for a full hour, I asked our server to check on our food. (So we have been at our table for 1:15-1:20 at this point) At which point the server comes back and tells us she doesn't have 6 of our eight meals. That they have run out of food. I was in total shock, she had not plans of telling us that they ran out of food until an hour in I asked her to check in on our food. Restaurants get busy, they run out of food... not typically 3/4 of a ticket... but it happens. It was her snotty Insults and attitude that somehow we were the problem. when I expressed shock that she didn't communicate that our food was not available sooner so that we coupd Reorder. Shocked that after waiting an hour that we would trust her to place another order and just see what comes up in an hour ( a party with 5 kids). Now 8 pm and have to find some other food to feed the kids for dinner in Biwabik MN. Lovely. Although I will say another server stepped in, and saw our insane frustration, and saved the day. she expressed a new order and we left with take out burgers. Quite a surreal experience.

We decided to visit after a light lunch for some additional snacks on an early Tuesday afternoon and this place was not busy at all. I think there was only a single other party inside other than us - this is definitely more of a dinner and evening establishment. Cheese Curds ($12) - An order comes with a small pile of perfectly battered and fried cheese curds. The batter kind of sticks multiple curds together into clusters, but the glue comes only from the batter, not from the cheese. None of them leak out or are gooey at all. Instead, the interior is warmed through and only melted a bit, allowing the firm texture of the cheese curd to come through. It's even slightly squeaky from how fresh they are. They have a good light crisp on the exterior and great overall texture. The curds come with a side dip that's sweet, fruity, and slightly smoky. I'm usually fan of a fruity or acidic side to balance out how fatty the fried cheese is, but I don't think this one requires the sauce at all. (4/5) Bread ($2) - This is essentially an extra order of bread for the Voyageur Picnic Board. Luckily we were able to order these as a side. And they were totally not worth it. An order includes 5 slices of a small baguette-style bread that's really dense and chewy. It's served cold and tastes completely like dough conditioner - think cheap grocery store-style bread. It honestly is so strong of a taste that I don't believe that it's homemade at all - and if it's homemade, it's one of the worst homemade breads I've ever eaten. It's clearly not meant to be eaten by itself. I can't help but think we were dumb to visit specifically for the bread. Considering this is not on the actual menu and we had to special order it, I'm going to pretend this doesn't exist and not include it in my final rating. (1/5) Again, we don't drink at all, so I can't comment on the quality of the beer served at Voyageur Brewing Company. I did quite like the cheese curds, so I'll be leaving this as a 4* review. Delicious Mexican food!…read more Lucky for us, the day we visited Castle Danger Brewery, Na-cho Bizness was the featured food truck. Being a fan of Mexican food, it was a bigger win for me. After getting our flights inside at the brewery, we selected a picnic table kinda close to the truck, so we could read the menu. Being a group of cousins, we figured one of us had to get, Nacho Cousins Nachos. Another selection was a no brainer, being in the North Woods, The Moose was a logical choice. My order was, Nacho Cousins Nachos. As stated earlier, I am a fan of Mexican food, so I asked the truck attendant to make mine spicy like, Nacho Daddy. I wanted that, hot salsa and jalapeños. The chips were fresh and crisp and all the toppings were plentiful. It so delicious, I managed to eat it all. WARNING: Portions are huge and can easily be shared by two. My cousins (female) could not finish theirs, but they came close and enjoyed their selections. Even though we were stuffed, we still had to enjoy a serving of Churros and highly recommend you do the same. If you live in or are visiting the Two Harbors area, I highly recommend that you check the schedule for, Na-cho Bizness and go experience their delicious food.
