Ridiculous. Just fucking ridiculous. Me and my dad just got back from the orthodontist, and I was hungry. I decided to go to McDonald's because they had a new Buffalo Ranch sauce. We got our food, and then my dad asked for his sauce. He asked for one singular Hot Mustard. They said they charge for sauces. We left the drive thru and I decided I would go in and get the sauces myself. I went in and had to wait at the pickup counter for a minute until someone asked what I needed. I told them I wanted sauce, and they immediately told me that they charge for that, and that I would have to go to the order line. I then went to the order line and had to wait like 5-10 minutes because some stupid woman was taking forever all because she wanted to redeem some fucking code for a happy meal that didn't work. I left the restaurant and had to eat my dry ass chicken sandwich, and I didn't even get my sauce. Such fucking bullshit. You can't even get ONE singular sauce without paying for it. Who the fuck does the manager think he is? Jeff fucking Bezos? They already took around 30 fucking dollars with me and my dad's order, and then they want some more? Absolutely ridiculous. ~Journal Entry, Friday, February 23rd, the Year is 2024 I was surprised today @ around 1400 hours , when I went to snap some photographs while in-store retrieving my small order, I realized that I had not crafted an unbiased review for this McDonalds locale... My beloved Mother, Dar T., openly has shared with the world that McDonalds is her favorite place to dine; in the world; no matter what.... After living with her & our animal babies for the past 6 years, she's kept to her love & loyalty of the McDonalds Restaurant Chain.... I took a few photographs & uploaded them to this review. There's more than one photograph, of the Hot Caramel Sundae WITH EXTRA Hot Caramel in it, because, I'm performing a legal "experiment" to compare & determine if the "extra Caramel Topping" is the same at each McDonalds Restaurant, because the day before yesterday, Momma & I while running errands in Modesto, California, stopped off & I treated her to her favorite dessert here, Hot Fudge/Chocolate Sundae & I, a Caramel... The area that sparked this small part-time experiment is that I ended up paying yesterday, over/almost $10.00 USD (United States Dollars) if not more for one soda & 2 ice cream sundaes.... The area that I'm perplexed about is that, the sundae cups have definitely SHRUNK A TON. In all seriousness the cups the sundae come in are tiny & about 2/3 SMALLER than they used to be yet the price skyrocketed, from under $3 to over $5 depending what market/McDonald's your frequenting... I've been eating McDonalds food & Frequenting their restaurants since I was a wee-small kid & so much has changed for the worst over time & so much has changed for the better with time... This location is insane ordered 2 McChickens and 1 burger plane and dry in the drive thru, told me to pull over to spot number 2 and there's 7 cars waiting for their food not including me. Seen an employee hand out a bag to a car and comes back after 5 minutes to grab the bag back as it was for the wrong car. So unsanitary and waited 35 minutes for a SIMPLE order. The worst! I'd give ZERO stars if possible. I placed a mobile order for pick up. The only modification I asked for was extra pickle on the two sandwiches in my order..... I got no pickle on either and as a bonus it looked like someone crumpled the sandwiches in their hand and then chucked it in the bag! If that wasn't bad enough I got cold soggy fries. Its seems pretty intentional to me. Quite frankly the fact that whoever made my order thinks they deserve to make $20 an hour is just as laughable as McDonalds charging what they do these days for a meal. I ordered a meal and went to the wrong McDonald's. I was told I couldn't order again for two more hours until the first meal was dropped. I got in and found out I could cancel my order. I did that. I reordered at the right location and went through. After visiting a sick friend I came back and had lunch. I ordered on the app and when I got there, I gave them my code, which they can never understand. I went to the first window and the woman ignored me, so I drove to the second window and got chewed out for not stopping at the first. My french fries were lukewarm and most of them have defects, brown spots, which never used to be. I don't know what's going on with the McDonald's on Geer road, but somebody, Regional Manager, needs to go in and see what's happening. I was there around 2 pm, Friday, January 3rd, 2025. At this McDonalds Geer and Tuolumne, we went through the drive through recently on a Friday around 11:30am. They took our order, took our money and when we got up to the window they wanted us to go to the parking lot and wait for our food. I said "No, last time we did that, you forgot about us and it took way too long." The manager lady came out and yelled at me to move my car. I rolled my window up and waited for my food. 5 minutes later, the same rude manager lady came back with a bag, like she was going to hand us our food, and shoved it at me said here's your money back. I said good. Then drove right next door to Burger King, was treated with respect, and got my food through a normal drive through process. McDonalds shouldn't take my money if they don't have my food. Is rude to kick people out of line and then make them wait longer just so McDonalds can keep their line going. The rude manager lady seems like she hates her job.
