To be fair to the kitchen, it's nearly impossible to hit medium rare on a steak that thin, so the real issue isn't the cooking -- it's the quality of the meat being sourced. The ancho butter was $1.99 extra and absolutely flavorless. Didn't even taste like real butter much less any seasoning in it. For a restaurant billing itself as a steakhouse, the cut and quality of the beef has to be the priority. This one missed the mark.
