    Burger in puddle of grease

Overpriced and terrible quality. Fries left a lot to be desired and my burger was in a literal puddle of grease. For a $15 burger I would expect some semblance of quality but was rather dissatisfied. Save your money and go somewhere else

Was pretty pricey and I really didn't think it was anything over the top. Service took a bit compared to other restaurants like it

One of the Best burgers that I have had in a very long time! Service was fast, and there was very little wait time on the food.

Way too Expensive, made to order but still slow considering it's lunch rush time. Got the order wrong anyway. We won't be coming back here.

The person at the register gave me a medium cup for my large drink, which I only noticed once we sat down. The cashier at every other Culver's I've visited checks on the ingredients of any order to make sure it's okay, but this cashier didn't do that. Having become accustomed to their standard order style, I didn't even think to say what ingredients I wanted excluded. Fortunately, I was able to scrape away most of the pickles and mayonnaise from my order. I cannot stand either ingredient. As for the burger itself, the topmost patty was split in two and half was hanging out over the bun. When the server brought our food to my wife and me, they forgot the custard we ordered. Overall, this was the most middling experience I've had at a Culver's. Definitely not worth what we paid for our meal.

I placed a $20 order through the drive thru on Jan 3, 2023 at 5:00pm…read more After my mother and I opened our Mexican pizzas they looked horrible, there was no meat, refried beans only and they appeared to have been sitting awhile under a heat lamp because the cheese was all gommed on top. We tried a few bites and confirmed that not only were they cold but they both tasted like they were fried in old grease. Neither one of us could eat them. I was infuriated after spending money on the mess. My mother went to open her tacos that came with the meal and the shells on both tacos were crushed, it was so bad there was nothing to pick up. As she opened the paper wrapped around the tacos, the lettuce, cheese and broken shell pieces fell all out from the wrapper. After we consumed just a few bites of the Mexican pizza , we immediately closed the boxes, it tasted so bad. About an hour later my elderly mother said the old oil taste was making her nauseous and she ended up vomiting. I was also nauseous from the after taste but never vomited. I immediately contacted Taco Bell's main office to file a complaint and requested a full refund. We are not interested in receiving coupons or free food from this location, We requested a refund. I was concerned that we may have gotten food poisoning but my mother got sick only the one time. Prior to this incident at this location, I had ordered 1 Doritos crunchy taco and a Diet Pepsi two weeks prior on my lunch break: my dorito taco shell was also crushed and they were out of diet Pepsi. So obviously someone is crushing the shells on purpose. It is not going to happen that often. My mother ordered a root beer with her meal and like my Diet Pepsi I ordered on the previous visit, they stated they were out of root beer on this visit. We will not be returning!!!

RFD is an interesting stop. First, I have to say that I love the setting. The old post office is…read morereally charming and just has so much character. If nothing else, it's worth stopping in to soak in all the old timey charm and enjoy a piece of Hoosier history. The restaurant function of the space I was a little more iffy on. In concept, I think it's really fun. The antique post office doesn't lend itself to fine dining. And neither did the menu or the staff. But the idea of eating in this unique space is fun. The food, staff, and pricing were all fairly problematic. We got what at best was Olive Garden/Applebees fare at St. Elmo's prices. I say "at best" because I found all the dishes I tried inedible or close to it. I had a Caesar salad, deviled eggs, and the diablo chicken pasta. First, surprisingly, the diablo chicken pasta was spicy! It's rare in Southern Indiana for something labeled spicy to live up to the reputation. But this was Thai-food levels of spicy. Much spicier than Nashville Hot Chicken. This was bring you to Jesus levels of hot sauce. There wasn't much of any chicken in it. So it was just noodles and some kind of sauce that puts Louisiana Hot Sauce to shame. There was a little spattering of parm and some parsley for looks on top. I wasn't offered any additional parm. Had I been prepped for Thai/Indian/Asian levels of spice, I might have been happy with it. But I found it inedible as there was no flavor other than "Ouch!" The caesar salad had no anchovy taste to it, and also lacked any parm. There wasn't even decorative parm. That was weird. It was just romaine lettuce and a watery, Caesar dressing colored mayo sauce with a few croutons. It was at least edible. The deviled eggs were sweeter than skittles. And instead of paprika, they had some type of bbq spice rub liberally sprinkled over them. My mouth wasn't prepared for that and I was so shocked by the flavor that the other people laughed at the unintentional face I made. My son didn't finish his chicken parm either. So I don't think I just lucked out with the wrong choices. My other kid got a steak, and he seemed happy with hit. That might be the one thing to stick to on the menu if you're there. The staff were OK-ish. They had a strange air of being off-put by us, but I'm not sure why. We were friendly, tipped well, and were decently dressed, etc. The manager or owner did come out and ask about the deviled eggs as the eggs went uneaten. I had to admit they weren't to my taste, but I was nice about it. Definitely not somewhere I would try again. But it's an OK stop if you don't mind the prices and are interested in the post office atmosphere.

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!
