Sent me around the corner for "fresh" food first thing I grab to snack on was a fry that was just cold? They messed up my order as well

Strange drive-thru cheat... We were driving by this place and saw they were snowing in the drive-through so we decided to get some large drinks and fries for the road. When we pulled up to the drive-through, ordered our four large drinks and three large fries, the guy asked us to pull forward... There was a long line of cars waiting to pick up food around the corner from the drive-through. To make things worse, the person in the front had a problem with her order and kept showing the receipts to the person who carried the food out to them. The person behind them had their food and they were stuck behind a person in front. The person bringing the food out to the cars, walked back slowly and was gone for about five or seven minutes. The person behind them tried to back up to get out of the lane and they had no path. I sent one of my children in to retrieve our food as we did not know how long this fiasco was going to go on. So, this McDonald's has found a cheat to keep their drive through window time down, they just have people pull forward into it drive-through lane and bring the food out to them. But you are stuck in a one-way lane, and this is anything but fast. It took us 20 minutes to get out of the line and we actually had to retrieve our own food and drinks. The night shift is led by a manager who rachet and unprofessional. She takes no ownership for screwing up your order. She is combative and argumentative. She seems to take things personal when you point out her errors. People like her are the reason that people in Tooele get labeled- trashy. read more

I originally gave this business a two star to a very wrong order and an egg McMuffin that looked like it got ran over by a truck and a previous order of very few fries in a medium order. Took me a bit but I tried them again and I must say my orders have been accurate, Egg McMuffin worthy of a picture. Lol sufficient and consistent orders. In the area and needed a little snack. Went through the drive thru. Easily the friendliest staff we've ever encountered at a McDonalds. Ordered a 4 piece nugget, small chocolate shake and a fish filet sandwich. Nuggets were crispy and perfectly cooked. Chocolate shake was creamy and delicious. Husband said his fish filet was also tasty. While we don't frequent McDonalds, we'd definitely go back to this location! read more

Why does mcdonalds management of tooele countiy insist on giving worse service when the people continue to support their businesses? Without question the owner of these restaurants provide the worst service of any McDonald's in any area. 30 minute waits for cold food, is the norm out here. They can't figure out how to pull people into the waiting area for larger orders or things that take longer to make. Instead, they make EVERYONE wait, even if you only order a drink. It falls on to the laziness and uncaring attitude of ownership and management. They realize the lines are long as people continue to support their business, but don't care enough to even provide mediocre service. They'd rather continue with being known as the absolute worst McDonald's in the country. Can't wait for the day Chik FIL A opens. I don't even know where to begin. There is so much wrong with this location. Employees who take your payment and don't even acknowledge your existence except to tell you what you owe. No Hello, no welcome, not even a thank you. Just a surly frown and a vacant stare. Then you roll up to pick up your food (and this is where it gets good), and your asked to park in a stall with 4-5 other cars who are also waiting for their food and wait for another surly, unappreciative, burger drone to deliver your food and not feel apologetic about the wait. I bought food for my siblings and They forgot the 10 piece chicken nuggets. It doesn't seem like that big of a deal I don't really care but when you order something and pay for it and don't get it, it sucks especially when you pay for it. I tried calling them too, but no one will answer. I called about 3 to 4 times no answer and the reason why I didn't just go back is because I was already home by the time I realized they weren't there but other than that. The line is always so long which is completely understandable because it's a busy place. But what's annoying is when the line doesn't move, and when we get to the window the people are not friendly, they act miserable and rude. They charge you for extra sauce if it's more then 4. I've been to this McDonald's many times, and they just get slower and less friendly every time. If you want fast friendly service don't go inside. It took just over 20 minutes to get our food, and at that time they told us they were still waiting on the crispy chicken sandwich. After 10 minutes we went up front to see if they forgot, and they hadn't even started cooking it! This isn't a fluke. During my previous visit I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and they forgot it. When they brought it out the inside was pink! The only nice thing is that they gave us two free pies. Stopped by this McDonald's with high hopes. Walked in and was instantly reminded why I really dislike going to McDonalds's. None of the kiosks were working, yes the kiosks that will eventually replace half the McDonald's work force, and the gentleman at the register lacked enthusiasm and energy. Little kids were running around barefoot in the restaurant, yes barefoot. Best part was when I walked out. If you MUST eat here...be warned but if you don't have to eat here take your money elsewhere like one of these family owned mom and pops spots in town. read more

Better off going to the Lakepoint location. Food is the same but service is so bad at this location. The staff does not know what they're doing. We clearly ordered a Mc Pick 2 and they charged us regular price for the two items (almost $5 more than we should have been charged). When we spoke to the front cashier they said there was nothing they could do because we got the promo fries. Fine the cancel the promo fry. Overall they didn't want to help or make things right. We will not be coming back to this location until they get their act together. read more

Ever since the "remodel " I have hated this place even more. There is nowhere near enough seating for being the only McDonald's in Tooele City. The service is horrible. It's not clean enough especially in the play area. However, My biggest issue happened last Saturday. We went and they were closed!! No sign saying why. usually the orders are correct and the food is what you'd expect. they sometimes forget nugget sauce, but I can let that slide. why they get only three stars is because of their amazing inability to fill the fries properly, despite complaints. if you want a medium, you'd better order a large. if you want a large, well...try another McDonald's. not sure why the employees can't get that right. read more

If I could do less than one star I totally would. My sisters McFlurry was not mixed all the way, the topping was laying on top of the ice cream. They had us park, which usually isn't a big deal, but when they handed us our order, they gave our second bag to the wrong vehicle. I could go on and on. GO somewhere else! All the reviews are true.. Absolutly NO Customer Service. The founders of McDonalds would close this place down in 2 minutes and correct the ugliness that goes on here. 2nd time in a row my order is over $23 dollars and they forget something. First I wait 10 minutes to get to the pay window. Then, Three employees were chit chatting while we waited.. my wife and I look at each other, like...should we go to the 2nd window or 3rd to pay..? then.. the cashier turns around with a straight mad face.. $23.03..no please, no thanks for the business.. we proceed.. to window 2.. we did get a smile this time, but I would think this position is the last line of defense to double check orders to make sure the quality and quantity is double checked.. nope.. ketchup plz... sighs takes my bag back and puts in ketchup.. guess asking for ketchup was too much cuz all we got was a sighhh. So from there we pulled into the pick up line..cuz fool us once...not twice.. my wife checks and yep missing my 10 PC. So I go in with sweats and my house slippers.. I feel like I am writing a review on McDonald's because I don't think they deserve the 1.5 stars they have right now. Maybe if we are just rating it on the taste of the food. But I think that the only people who actually rate McDonald's are all the people who have a bone to pick with them. They aren't the worst, proof is the double line in the drive-thru that is always super long. Someone has to like something, right? So I'll add my two cents. And this 5 star review is based only on the service (and the Diet Coke). The service here has always been stellar. I've always gotten super happy, sweet people and the service has always been quick. I wouldn't sit in a huge line for just a Diet Coke if not. We all know what food this place has to offer so again my review is just on the service. This place is great! Also, I love the $1 Diet Coke. Twice in a row now I've went there and their wonderful kiosks weren't working properly then I stood at the counter and was ignored for about 10 minutes. I went across the street to Wendy's and was in and out in under 5 minutes and had friendly servive. I'll go to Wendy's from now on as well. read more

Well I've seen a lot of crappy places, but this is over the line! There was a massive hair in are food, so yuck. All the food was cold. And as we were ordering we asked "can we have a large drink?" He responded "um yeah no we have lids!" We asked "that's fine we can have a large drink with no lid." He said "aaaaa we can't do that." And yet we were four charged a large drink, and we didn't even get one. We also ordered a McDouble that when we got it some ingredients missing, the bag had a hole, and it was a big mess! read more

Service was terrible placed an online order went to pick it up had the order number written down and was told that my son couldn't have my order because I did give him my phone. sent and screen shot. But that not the kicker, they made him wait for 20 minutes and the manager on duty Ashlen made it a point not to assist, I was on his phone waiting to speak with her and she went out her way to do other things than speak with me over this.
