OMG. WORST FISH SANDWICH EVER!!!! burnt to a crisp. Sure it's been sitting there forever. Gross can't eat

Placed an order to pick up inside. Lobby is closed. Tried to call on phone. No answer. Line for drive thru was so long that I didn't want to wait and have the food be cold. Walked over to the window to retrieve the food. It took several minutes and we found out the poor woman inside was left alone. No one else showed up!!! She was doing EVERYTHING! We felt so sorry for her that il I'm not going to complain the food was cold and not the best. read more

Unfortunately, I was coerced into eating at MCD's. I know. A lot of people love it but I just don't. I didn't want to be the odd woman out so I gave into peer pressure. I was with some coworkers and the three of them wanted it. Ok. I figured I could order a grilled chicken sammie, large fry, Sprite with no ice and an ice cream sundae. Decent. Well. No... One person ordered the food and brought it to the office. My chicken sandwich said Artisan grilled on the outside which is what I ordered. Well, it turned out to be crispy chicken with a whole heap of mayo which I do not like. I had about three bites and threw it away. The fries had a chemical taste to them. I used to love their fries. These were just bad. I ordered my Sprite with no ice so it would not get watered down. Well, surprise.....there was no ice in it but the Sprite was still flat. It turns out their ice cream machine was undergoing maintenance so my colleague called me to see what I wanted instead. I chose a caramel Frappe which was by far, the highlight of this meal. I could have gone back to get the correct sandwich but did not want to go back. I seem to end up at MCDs about once a year and it never turns out well. Been putting up with this garbage of a place for years because my kids want a happy meal. I am done. Listen to the reviews. They are really bad!!!!!! Give the location a facelift but it doesn't change how poor the quality of workers and food you get. Went this Sunday morning. Everyone is rude. Food is cold. When I asked for a number for an AD or corporate, they said they didn't have access to that info. Really? Do they think people are that dumb to believe something like that? And if they don't have access to it, it speaks volumes for this franchise owner and poor work conditions. Done. Wendy's Burger King, chic fil a, arby's....... So many other fast food places with awesome service. Stay away from this awful place, and you are welcome for the advice in advance. read more

I feel like a fool to have returned here. I discovered that the order was being filled incorrectly and at the pickup window I was told to park around building to wait for the corrected order. When I got home I discovered that I DID NOT GET what I ordered - again! I stay away for months at a time hoping that when I return that things will be better. It is under a mile from my home and instead of going here, for 5-6 months will drive over 2 miles to another McDonald's. Today at the drive-thru I ordered hotcakes with sausage and a bacon, egg, and cheese on a muffin. Other McDonald's locations have no problem filling the sandwich order. A moment before it was passed to me, I read the receipt which stated "Egg McMuffin - Sub Bacon" which has the "round egg" with yolk in the middle. What I ordered comes with a scrambled type "flat" egg. I don't eat the other type egg. I should have told the employee to enter "bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, SUBSTITUTE MUFFIN." At the pickup window I realized they entered my order incorrectly, said so, and was told to park and wait on the other side of the building. After what I felt was too long a wait, a woman brought out my order. A thunderstorm was about to arrive and I hurried home. Later at home I discovered that THE "CORRECTION" WAS INCORRECT: 1. The sandwich had bacon, egg and NO CHEESE on a muffin. 2. The hotcakes had no butter. Will I wait another 3-4 months and try this location again? My feeling today it an emphatic "NO!" but I MAY soften over time and try this place again. Each and every time I've come here over the past 10-12 years, something has always been wrong. I generally use McDonald's about 5-8 times per week and have had very few problems at the other stores in Plantation / Sawgrass area. read more

Too often there seem to be nothing but young, unsupervised people working here. Sometimes everything is fine, but there have been too many occasions when it is staffed with people who seemingly couldn't care less and have atrocious customer service skills. I just got back from the drive-thru where I dealt with a young man who "greeted" me in a monotone voice, didn't say thank you or anything else remotely pleasant. When I saw him at the pay window I got nothing. Not a sound. A hello, a thank you, a smile, or even a simple nod would have been nice. As far as McDonald's goes, this one is really good. The fries are always hot. The food is prepared fast and looks and tastes good. Fillet-O-fish with double fish is the best. I was so hungry I ate it before I thought about posting a picture of it. There is a language barrier. You have to word your order just like they have learned to key it in or else it will come out wrong. "Fillet O Fish combo with an extra fish patty" is not understood by the cashier and will result in a blank stare. The words "extra" and "patty" did not register. These are advanced vocabulary words. I was corrected: "Fillet O Fish combo double fish" Um..... Ok. I have learned to avoid drive thru's. This is where errors happen. It's like playing Russian roulette. I have not done a complete forensic analysis of the matter but it seems that when you go in, the mistakes decrease dramatically with your to go order. I don't eat McDonald's often but when I do, I'll drive a little out of my way to come here. read more

I order a cheese burger on 3/5/2022.I got a cold cheese burger and a large order of very cold French fires, the server did not asked me about my order, she asked did I order a drink and she gave me some one else order a large French fries which I asked for a salad. The manager is a foreigner and can't even speak a proper sentence in English, the manager never seems to understand what the problem is every time I have something wrong with my order. They ALWAYS overcook hash browns, or undercook them, they're never as good as literally every other McDonald's. There has not been a single time I enjoyed my meal from this place. I hope their renovations that they're doing now also include a new manager but we all know this is not what is going to happen. JUST KEEP DRIVING...Save yourself! This was truly a disturbing visit. The visit included a repeat several times of correcting not hearing but correcting my order placed. Pull to the pickup window and the young lady there with brown headwrap at the window was so concern with being involved in someone physical dispute and sharing what she would have done given the chance - all happening at the window where customers are picking up their food. So we're waiting and waiting and more waiting only to be handed a nasty spilled drinks to wait again. Then handed half the order as she continues about this altercation that she would have assisted with and if it was her "version". Finally, the other half of the order as I assume I am just ready to go vacate this location and any parts of it with shame. Only to reach home, ready to relax and notice the additional items I paid for was not in the bag. Right! Why should I be upset and/or expect anything different. Same look as all the other Mc Donald's around my area. Their drive thru is very slow because of the inconvenience of parking around this little shopping strip. I recommend you go inside. read more

The ONLY reason for this low rating is the LOUD attitude from the manager on sunday morning today and every other Sunday I have been in here. If you need to direct your employees have some tact and don't berate them in front of customers. How do you even BECOME a manager lacking this basic knowledge and skill set (how to effectively manage people for their best performance)???. The lady that sits in a chair and preps food also yells at the underlings. Class up! Horrible service!!! I work right next to this place and come a lot for breakfast and lunch, they have never charged me for a side of pickles, but today they decide I have to pay? To me that's not the point I have the money.... It's the inconsistent service that is always provided at this place!!!! I even talked to the manager who said she couldn't do anything. And I actually had an issue with her months ago for a completely different reason. All I can say is that they will miss out on my money from now on.... I think the managers name is Diana. I love that I have a GREAT McDonald's in my neighborhood. Every once in awhile when I go to Doris' to shop, I pick up either breakfast burritos or lunch to bring home for my hubs and me. The food is ALWAYS fresh, hot and good, but I was blown away by the two young ladies who took my $$ and gave me my food in the 'drive through' at this location. They were so very pleasant and accommodating, not kidding...I smiled all the way home. It's always been great food and great service in the past, but these ladies really turned up the quality on service and thought they deserved kudos! They don't know how to make oatmeal (too much water, not enough water, using cold water..) and the last time I ordered iced tea, there was no ice in it so the tea was warm AND I found a piece of lettuce floating in it! This is without a doubt the WORST McDonald's in Sunrise! Every Night I come here for Ice Cream and I suspect the mostly "kid" crew is just too LAZY to keep the machine running. Same story 4 of 5 times...."Machine is Broken". Translation, we want to get out of here so we great everything down early so when it's time we can just walk out.
