I ordered breakfast from the app and my food was hot, fresh and correct. Thank you McDonald's, you heard our complaints and it seems that you have fixed what was the problem! Great fast food and service read more

One star for a reason. No customer service. Barely any workers. This is the slowest most unresponsive McDonald's I have ever seen. I have watched two customers leave while I have been waiting for my online order. My goodness save yourself and go to Sheetz across the street. I wish I did but unfortunately I already mistakenly paid for my order. read more

I had to download yelp just to leave a review. That's how disappointing my experience was. The burgers were dry, buns were over toasted and the fries were soggy like they sat too long. The biggest disappointment though is that I requested extra diced onions and barely got any. It's pretty bad when my teenager says she wished we would have gotten Wendy's instead. This company makes so much money and has raised prices, you're telling me you can't afford a few more onions? read more

Employees are very rude and very disrespectful at Drive-Thru and Windows. I was Picking up Doordash orders around 7:30ish. This wasn't once but 3rd times I'm having issues with this place for Doordash picking up orders.... read more

Claims they are open 24 hrs. It never open past 1. Will take my money through the app for pickups just for you to get there and they tell you they're closed and WILL NOT refund your money to you. Employees are VERY rude. Do not recommend at all. read more

McDonald's - the menu of a fast food restaurant - Fast Food Near Me - Stephens City, Virginia

This child who works in second window, I believe his name tag said Layton or Logan or something was the worst employee I've ever seen at a McDonalds. Was very unenthusiastic and was rude to me and my dog, Fifi. He just about threw my drink at me me. Back in the day, I remember employees at McDonalds use to be respectful young people, but now, I guess that mustve changed. I'm going to Chick-Fil-A instead. read more

Usual terrible experience. Visited at 9 am on a Thursday. Drive through was wrapped around the building and to add to this experience, a septic truck was doing work right next to the building and drive through line. It took over 20 min in the drive-thru! Lady taking our money had no personality. When we finally got to the food window the girl working was conversing with someone just standing around behind her. Took her a good minute to even start our drinks, and all the while telling her "co-worker" that she's been told she needs to do a better job of "multi-tasking" to which she then proceeded to tell her co-worker that multitasking was not even a real thing. Good was ok, but looked old. Absolutely no excuse for the slow service and poor quality. We live in Stephens City and know this location is ONLY open due to its proximity to the interstate. No need for quality control or accountability when there is a steady stream of customers who don't know better. If heading north on I-81 go to Kernstown. If going south, just keep going. We will not be back. read more

Went in to order food while the employees were using racial slurs towards each other, the manager stood there and laughed while on her cellphone. Stood there for 14 minutes exactly being ignored before I finally walked out without ordering food. read more

worst mcdonalds ever, slow and not friendly. went and got family food and didn't even give me half my food... highly encourage going to the one in kernstown. much better service and friendlier employees read more

They have fast and good drive thru service! Nice size parking lot for customers, and it's always a safe environment to enjoy with your family! read more

worst McDonald's I have been to in a while. ordered food was made wrong the place was disgustingly dirty, no seats clean, took my son to the restroom and there was no running water in the bathrooms, which makes me think is there water else where for employees to wash their hands? hand sanitizer's were out of use as well. definitely a call to health department! read more

Ordered a large caramel frappe on the McDonald's app and paid for with 4500 rewards points. When arriving at drive thru to pick up, was told the frappe machine was broken. Manager said they could not restore/refund the 4500 rewards points I was charged. Left without a frappe but was still charged 4500 points. Unacceptable. Have been a frequent customer of this store for years and years. Will definitely consider their local competitors when looking for fast food. This place is now my last resor! read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. McDonald's is known internationally for burgers. When I order my 2 cheeseburgers with extra pickles, I did indeed get extra pickles. However, there was no burger patty. Apparently I misspoke and ordered a pickle sandwich. read more

Worst McDonald ever. Bathroom dirty, with 2 urinals plugged with paper towels and two of three sinks not working. (I wonder how the staff stays clean?). French fries awful...cold and greasy. As a shareholder I may sell my stock. C'mon owner, do better !! Be professional. You're hurting the brand. read more

My boyfriend was trying to be nice and get us breakfast from this location. He ordered 2 steak egg and cheese bagels. (Our favorite) and instead we got 2 bacon egg and cheese bagels that must have been sitting out for a LONG time because the bagel was so hard it was inedible. Not to mention for the first 3 months of us living near this location the carbonation was completely out so every time we ordered sodas they were terrible. I believe they have it fixed now but someone needs to do some quality control at this location. I'm tired of paying for things hoping it will be good. It's a waste. Where's the consistency? read more

Worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The service is lousy, employees ignore you and the wait for your order and getting your food is unacceptable. My suggest is to go 5 miles south on I-81 to Middletown, the McDonald's there is newer and the customer experience is very good. read more

Just your typical old school McDonald's. Stopped in on a recent road trip to hit the restrooms and grab a quick bite. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. Service was friendly. Food was standard Mickey D's food, cooked up hot and served fairly quickly. Not recommended for a five-star gourmet meal, however it's a nice stopping point if you're on the freeway. I even won a free small coffee in the monopoly game on my bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. Score! read more

A Disgrace to the McDonalds Name. I just had the WORST meal from a Mcdonalds' ever! The fries reeked of hash browns, (obviously, the oil was not changed,) the chicken in my "Deluxe" sandwich was black, the chicken nuggets were chewy and even the apple pie had an over baked taste. It's worth it to go the extra 2 miles to the McDonalds in Kernstowns Commons. read more

For a McDonald's, this place is not terrible. The workers usually seem kind enough and it's rare that I've had problems with the food. Since they remodeled the inside, it's definitely less gross than it used to be. Keep it up. read more

I can't really give this place more than 2 stars just because it's McDonalds; the one time we've ordered at a drive-through here, the staff was prompt and courteous, and very young - and they did forget to give us straws, but... Standard McDonald's experience. read more

Dirty with a funny smell by the soda machines. Lots of flies. Didn't drink the shakes because they looked weird.

THE Absolute worst McDonald's ever!!!! Every time I go there I ask myself why did I go there after I get inside. Everyday I go there to get a strawberry sweet tea and it takes them 10-15 minutes just for a drink. It's always chaotic in there & always a group of employees that could be doing something but they don't. Again the worst McDonalds ever. Avoid at all cost. I wanted to leave no stars but the app wouldn't let me read more

Worst place ever. 25 min for fast food!! That's ridiculous. And the people working here can't read the screen at all.

Thoroughly check our order before you leave! We have left this McDonald's multiple times with the wrong order. We've had happy meals with no cheeseburgers, missing sandwiches, not enough drinks, etc. You name it, we have probably had it happen. We have had to make multiple trips back there to get what we ordered. This morning, we ordered a steak, egg,and cheese bagel and a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. I looked in the bag, noticed we had a bagel sandwich and a biscuit sandwich. When I got home, there was no egg on the steak, egg, and cheese and bacon on the biscuit. Management could care less and are extremely rude. I would avoid this McDonald's and eat someone else if you get off of Exit 307. Or you can drive down to Exit 310 and try that McDonald's. read more

I usually come here and they make the orders quickly, but this time it took 20 minutes (no joke). To make 2 Large caramel frappe and 1 Large iced French vanilla coffee. The coffee was not even good and all they were doing was attending other customers or talking to each other and not attending customers. Like please do your job. read more

One thing you can always say about this McDonalds is they're consistent. Consistently bad this is. I know I know, it's fast food. But if there's a way for them to screw up your order, they will find it. It's as if the employees get some sort of spiff it they can save on condiments. Never get the sauces, 50/50 on them forgetting straws, food is cold more often than not. I curse myself every time I leave this place. read more

Please fill up your fry cartons to the size specified by the customer. If I wanted a medium I would not have paid for a large. This happens even AFTER I have asked them to fill the carton up all the way. read more

Just stopped in to grab food on trip. Our fries were the grossest ever. Don't go here. It was vacant inside and a bit creepy.

I rate this McDonalds a 4 because of the staff! This is a really high volume restaurant and they serve you very quickly whether it be the drive thru or walk in. Despite the seemingly young age of the staff, they seem like a really well oiled machine and move everything along so quickly. The food is standard McD's. Great staff! read more
