Slowest service of any McDonald's I've ever been to. I think the mother ship uses this location for training new employees and manager trainees.. It's not all about the restaurant tho, the customer base sucks too.. come on people, it's a F'ing McDonald's. Unless you've been under a rock you should know what they sell and how to order it.. The place was so dirty the floor with dark stains from spilled soda, garbage on the table under the tables, garbage was overflowing, the staff was rude when asked to clean a table to seat at. Someone that was busy cooking has to come out and clean. The lady taking orders said " You are looking for free food with your complaint " very rude . That's is when I decided to take the pictures. This was the night shift, I have been during the day is not as dirty as at night. There should be a maintenance person attending the floor. This location is horrible Quarter pounder must have been reheated from the day before It was so nasty tasting and dry. I'm still gagging from the taste. The service was strange, the staff was yelling between each other non stop in a middle eastern language. I used to go to this location around 15 years ago and was really good. Happened to be in the area today but I'll never go back to this one First time in over 20 years I got a really BAD burger from McDonalds This location and staff did not appear to be very clean This location is not run like other McDonalds. Since McDonald's likes to play dirty games here we go, Made a mobile order at 3:45AM got there at 3:50AM paid for my mobile order and decided to order fries, was told they had to make them since the menu was changing at 4,I agreed, parked and waited 5-7mins just to be brought out burnt and hard as a rock salty disgusting fries, made me wait for THIS!! they were for my daughter you bastards!! Prices go up & quality drops, even though they claim it's better? Wow, went there last night to try the new, supposedly improved double 1/4 pounder with cheese. It was dry, no flavor & $5.75. The large fries were thin, dry, room temperature & also lacking flavor. The chicken nuggets, which I realize is really filler chicken parts, used to taste decent, especially with their honey mustard sauce. Two people, 2 double quarter pounders with cheese, one large fry, a 20 piece chicken nuggets and an order of their sweet n' spicy honey glazed BBQ chicken tenders...$27 and nothing was worthy of mention. They were out of service because of the "system". We were there for sandwiches, told us to move forever and wait until the system was open again. We did. Once we got there they told us that they won't sell us any lunch manu sandwiches because it was over, after we wait for more than 30 minutes in line. Won't recommend it. This is by far the worst drive-thru in the Tri-state area. The staff at the mic are not experienced English language users. They do not listen, are unable to recover from a customer asking a question. The orders are wrong every time. Order preparers are heavy handed with cream in coffee. I have no problem with diversity or trainees. But I am tired of my order being wrong. read more

I have to use a cane because of a recent knee surgery. One of the Latina employees went out of her way to hold the door to the ladies room open for me. She then waited for me to wash my hands so she could hold the door open again for me on the way out. Never has a fast food employee showed me as much kindness as this young lady. i go to this location daily for my boss and almost every time i go, i have an issue with my order due to language barriers. almost every employee is hispanic and can't take an order to save their life. today was no different but i felt inclined to write a review because of the extreme lack of professionalism on behalf of management. to begin, my order was COMPLETELY wrong and get this, it was two meals with zero modifications ! the attendant at the window, though she barely spoke english herself, was kind and accommodating.. however, the manager on staff whom refused to identify herself several times opted to hide in the restaurant and refused to acknowledge my complaint of service. since there is no other way to bring light to these issues, i thought to write a review and hopefully someone at corporate will see and find a way to improve the awful service at this location. i have uploaded a photo shot of the video i took while at the window where the manager is literally hiding in the back despite her employees asking her how to handle the issue. i will keep the video for my records but whomever this manager is, should be heavily reprimanded for not only failing to deliver quality customer service as promised by the brand but for completely neglecting the incident and leaving employees clueless as to what to do next on top of refusing to give her name as the manager on staff. this type of management is what leads paying consumers to chick fil a where orders are never wrong and always readily available without any issues once a customer reaches the window. i am disgusted and plan to discontinue coming to this location. read more

Hey, it's the only McDonald's in Stamford with a "drive thru!" So yes, the drive thru line is long--but with the two speakers there for taking orders, it moves fast. Like all other fast food restaurants, English is not the employees first language. Whatever. The food is 90% fresh. I never had any bad experiences and I always check my food before I pull off. Listen, I recommend this location as opposed to the newly decorated one on Bedford St. (Too many indigents hanging around there.) No complaints for this location. Standard McDonald's fare. read more

I've been coming here for a year and it continues to be a surprisingly slow location. It's generally be faster to park and go in to order, than use the drive through. Often in mornings there will be over 10 cars in the drive through line and with that kind of line at this location it will be a long wait and you will be late for work, so just go inside. I'm not sure why it's so slow because every time I go in it appears there are lots of staff. read more

Super fast McDonald's with the double drive thru and no price gouging? Hooray obesity!

It's been two days since my horrible experience with one of the drive-thru staff and I just can't stop thinking about how badly she treated me. When I pull up to grab the food, I notice the drinks we ordered were not handed to us. A large water and a sprite. I then politely asked for the drinks as I thought maybe she forgot. She proceeds to then just stand there and stare at me. I ask if she would like to see the receipt as it clearly says on there that I ordered 1 large water and Sprite. She glances at it quickly-this whole time making me feel like I'm causing a problem and giving her a hard time- She then hands me the sprite and I thank her and ask about the water cup but she ignored me and walked away. I just felt very disrespected, the way it was handled was not correct. read more

I went there last saturday, March 9 to get breakfast and It was the worst experience I ever had in the restaurant. I approached the cashier to place my order, and I guess he was in training because Diomedes came to help him and then he asked me a question. I could not understand a word he was saying, so I asked him twice and he got upset because I couldn't understand what he was saying and he started raising his voice thinking I would get what he was saying!! I asked him what language he speaks he said Spanish and I told him that he has been rude and there was no need for him to shout at me. Generally an okay McD, except when the company tractor trailer delivers and ties up the drive thru. Use a hand truck and keep the lanes open. Deliver in the middle of the night, not during the busy evening hours. The truck stayed blocking things even when not unloading, while doing paperwork! I pulled up to the pay window and the man would not take my order, he said I had to drive around again and use one of the boxes that appeared blocked. All of these other reviews are fine as long as you go to this McDonald's before 8pm. Otherwise, explore other options - drive to the Greenwich or Norwalk McDonald's. Also, don't make any changes to the food, such as asking for no mayo or add pickles. This will only result in frustration for you. Last night I ordered two sandwiches from the drive thru, asked them to remove the lettuce and add pickles. It came with lettuce and without pickles. So I went inside to get this fixed. The lady took the sandwiches, brought a new bag to me and said "no lettuce, add pickles" so I took that as a good sign. Of course when I got to the car and it was wrong again. The receipt said everything as I ordered it, so the lady taking orders got it right, but whoever made the order either did not read it or did not care. The staff in the evening is terrible. I used to work at a McDonald's so I know how busy it gets, but believe me they have enough people on staff but too few of them are actually working. Thought I would grab a couple of Big Macs, early Saturday evening. The place was quite crowded and so I figured that the food should be fresh and hopefully made within the past hour or so. Paid my bill in excess of $12.50, grabbed the bag and drove home. Could not wait to bite into one of those Big Macs and so I opened that little cardboard box and much to my dismay, the roll was so soggy, from hours of sitting on a steam table, that it fell apart, all over my living room floor. That first bite went into my vacuum. I was angry at the fact that a restaurant would actually sell an old and soggy product and charge me over $12.00 for the horrible food. By the way, the second Big Mac was just as old, soggy and disgusting as the first Big Mac and so I called the restaurant, told the manager, Laura, that I was disgusted with the food but I also wanted my money back. She assured me I would be refunded my money, after I brought the food back to her. Well, she lied and when I arrived, and after being told on the phone that the Big Mac turned into dust and was all over my living room floor and partly in my vacuum, she would not give me the money back for the Big Mac that fell apart and landed on my living room floor. She accused me of eating it and claimed was why I could not bring it back to her. These people are accusatory, insulting, offensive and downright ignorant. They do NOT belong in any restaurant, serving food to the public, no less any MacDonald's, which I believe had a stellar reputation at some point in time, however, no longer. MacDonald's has fallen way off the mark of providing good food at a reasonable price...Those days are long gone....By the way, I received a total of, $7.20 for the food that just cost me over, $12.50...and the kicker was that I never ate dinner this evening....So long to MacDonald's, especially the East Main Street MacDonald's. read more
