This McDonald's needs a lot of help. It is very busy as I am sure many pulling off of the highway stop here with the truck stop attached. Several people were ordering and waiting for orders to be completed. The workers were calling out food items one at a time. "Who ordered a Diet Coke?" "Anyone have a kids meal?" Instead of completed orders. Many customers were grabbing bags and then handing them back realizing it wasn't theirs. It was an awful was of doing things and made getting food a very long process. It's fast good so I know to expect 2 stars. But this was beyond terrible. We t to drive though. Went SOOO slow. Finally my turn. Thry ask if I have mobile order, I say yes. Then I'm told to wait (not even please). 5-7 minutes later I'm told drive though is closed and to go inside. I do. I'm first in line. No acknowledgement. Thry give th peros waiting for their order and I think I'll be served next. Wrong. They go to clean. All do it at an extremly slow pace. I call them out that I'm ready to have my order. They come and then get the person behind mes order. I thought maybe they happened to be seated waiting. Then I person I knew came in after and was behind them was attended. So I ask why is she ignoring me and taking orders from people behind me (maybe she was attending her own race first, I don't know). To make things worse they said she didn't see my Mobile order. I gave her the right address and thr number. And she said I'll just have to make another order and went back to slow cleaning. read more

It's a McDonald's. It's attached to a truck stop in an urban neighborhood. And not a prosperous neighborhood at that. The point is that with this McDonald's just off the interstate it's going to get a lot of use. Surprisingly, it was clean. Staff were relatively courteous. My order was ready when I walked in. Both ice dispenser ran out! Service was slow, even though the employee (some ) were friendly , most lack the common courtesy of taking your order and making sure it's completed before moving on to the next order. Lady at the register took my simple order of 1 large drink , after I paid for it , without giving me the cup , she just walk away, left me standing there , even though the cups was in reach , I wasn't sure if I was suppose to just get one myself . read more

Honestly, i hate doing bad reviews on places, but honestly, we stopped here to grab some food because it was the only thing open, and wow! Everyone at this place was rude and disrespectful mot only to me but to everyone that was ordering there food. The place smelled very bad, and it was really not clean at all. There were no lids for your drinks, no napkins in the dispenser, no straws, nothing. When myself or others asked they said to wait and still never helped. I wish I could say I will never eat here again. But working 3rd shift and it being the closest drive thru, I will likely visit them more. This is the worst McDonald's in the city. That is not hyperbole, I have never spent more time in a McDonald's drive thru or waiting at the counter for someone to just take my order. Every time you go to this location you roll the dice of how they will be f#$%ing with you today. Their slowness is default. You can always count on that perk. But you will possibly encounter other wonderful bonuses such as "You have to come inside to order." Really? Why? We are talking through the speaker now. Or then there's the "We are only serving breakfast now." It's 1:30 AM. No other McDonald's in this hemisphere has switched to breakfast yet. Why have you? One time I even was told "We're closed." This is in a Love's Gas Station, you are open 24/7/365. Don't lie to me. Or you might get the enigmatic "We aren't taking orders now." with no elaboration of when they might start taking them or why. The one GOOD thing I was able to say about this location until last week was that they would get your order right. You might visibly age before getting it but if you ordered something without ketchup or onions, it came without ketchup or onions. Last week however they messed up my order and doubled down on it. I had ordered one of the new Signature Recipe sandwiches (Maple Dijon on the Southern Fried Chicken) and when I got it, and took a bite I got a big mouthful of guacamole and pico. The food assembler had put the wrong toppings on my sandwich and instead of remaking it (or even just wiping off the guac and pico) they just put the Maple Bacon and Dijon mustard on top of it. I don't believe dijon mustard and Guacamole compliment even if you LIKE guacamole, which I do not. If you have a choice. Any choice shy of killing and eating a family member to live. I know fue a fact there was staff change but there had tool have actually been a general manager change because this place now sucks.
