Once I saw the Vanilla Old Fashioned on the cocktail menu, I knew what I wanted. One of my favorite classic cocktails is an Old Fashioned and vanilla is my favorite flavoring. So combining both of them had to be a winner and it was. The cocktail was strong, but with the taste of vanilla it went down smoothly. I dad to pace myself, I was tempted to chug it and enjoy it in one big gulp. I told the bartender I was not dining, that I just stopped by before going upstairs to the private party. The server explained that the charge was listed on the menu, but this was not clearly communicated when I placed the order. It is disappointing to see such a decline in service. When the upstairs dining area was open, the food was consistently excellent, the service was prompt, and the staff was welcoming.
