What better way to prove whether a restaurant is worthy of your business than to post multiple reviews of the place? A couple days ago, I ordered 2 sausage and egg biscuits, 2 hash browns and an order of hotcakes. It arrived with, surprise! One missing item, the syrup for the hotcakes. Once again, screwed over by good 'ol Micky D's. At one time in my life, quality control actually meant something in the food industry. There is a simple solution to missing items. A 15 second check by the Manager before the delivery order leaves the building would cut down greatly bad reviews on Google and Yelp. Almost all fast food places now offer delivery and it's not the delivery person's responsibility to check the order. This McDonald's has screwed me over at least a dozen times in the last couple years. They could easily double check orders. They choose not to. Do not order extra sausage either. If you do, you stand a 50-50 chance you won't get 2 sausages on your sandwich. Poor excuse for a McDonald's. read more

It's a McD's in STL, what can you say. The food is sub-par McD's stardards as are most of the locations around here. Fries are almost always soggy. Why is that? How far in advance are you boxing up your fries and letting them sit in the warmer to steam? I don't understand why. The owner called me and we had a good talk. She was kind and caring. She has a difficult situation as do all restaurants with getting people to work. It's difficult to hire. It's difficult to get people to show up. And the ones that do may not be up to par but at least they showed up. Worst McDonald's literally ever. Waited at the drive thru window from 10:20-11:00. Finally got up to the window after three cars being helped in the other lane. And the kid walks up to the window eating. Mind you the drive thru hasn't moved in over 40 minutes. This is absolutely crazy to me. The food was great and the service was efficient. I didn't have to wait long at all. I do have one complaint. Most of the time that I go, I am not able to find a clean table. It's not that dirty but it just has a decent amount of crumbs on it. Also, there is a lady who mumbles the whole time while taking your order. Terrible Drive Thru Service. They have had one drive thru lane blocked for Days! Today was awful! Once people got up to the microphone to order, there was lots of arguing with the order taker! Several cars just drove off after attempting to order!! But when we got up there, we could not hear the order taker! We asked her to turn up the volume, but she did not. This is the closest McDonald's to me and it's been alright ordering from here. I always do mobile orders and they get it out quick. There was a slight mess up once but it was corrected without a hassle. Food quality wise, it's okay. Everything tastes like you expect it, and I haven't had issues. One minor gripe is the entry to this place. If you're coming up (going north) on Lemay Ferry, the McDonald's is on your left, so you'll have to make a left turn. Except you can't since there is no left turn lane and there's a sign saying no. So you can - Make an illegal left turn anyways and hope no amphibious cop catches you. - Make an illegal left turn and get an earful of angry honks for holding up traffic. - Go straight and try to make a u-turn from the next light. Except this left turn light never turns green so have fun getting old waiting. - Go even further straight and make a u-turn from there. At this point, why bother? Just go home. - Make a RIGHT turn instead into the shopping area. Then immediately make a u-turn and go straight. Plan may get foiled if another car is nearby, or the amphibious cop gets you for "improper lane change". Take your pick, they all work just fine. Results may vary. read more

This location used to be the "gold standard" of Mickey D's, but since the regular morning crew has all quit or retired, the location needs some "sprucing up". They recently renovated and redecorated, added kiosks, and removed the Redbox vending. They aren't keeping it as clean and fly-free as they used to. They encourage using the ordering kiosks with a credit card, but I prefer to order and pay cash at the counter. They need to hire more counter help. It's still cleaner than most in the area, but they need to up their game again. read more

Over the last year we've gone to the location at 4407 Lemay Ferry Rd probably 4-5 times. On rare occasions we get grab fast food but life gets hectic sometimes. The sad part is that when having to use this location we know there's a 100% chance they will get the order wrong. Every time we've gone to this location it's been wrong and I'm not exaggerating, EVERY time. We know we have to check the bag and without fail they messed the order up. I don't know who checks the orders before they're given to the customers but they are the dumbest people in the work force. When you tell them the order is wrong they act amazed like it's never happened before. Even today they messed up one single value meal order. Ask for a chicken sandwich and got a filet of fish. The ticket on the box even said chicken sandwich. The owners don't care either, hence the employees lack of care. WE MAKE THEM REPLACE THE ORDER AND REFUND OUR MONEY. This place deserves ZERO stars if that was an option on this website. We hesitantly decided to try this drive thru as they are notoriously known for long lines. We wanted to do two separate mobile orders, but the lady at the drive thru said they can't take two orders. So, we did one order and then dead silence. The lady over the intercom disappears. We wait several minutes, then call for assistance and no answer, while the other drive thru lane is taking people's orders. Two cars that came in after us pass through. I made this yelp account just so that I could write this review on this location. This morning, I was on my way to work and decided to stop here to get food before I clock in. I sat at the ordering board for 10 minutes (one hour after open mind you). This is not the first time this has happened with this location. I do not understand why no one took my order AN HOUR after opening. Nothing was posted online about any sort of reason for this issue. There was no indication that the location would be closed today, which is why this whole situation makes no sense to me. The best part about all of this is the fact that they had about six or seven people in line and not a single one of them was asked to get their order. And I'm sure that, as soon as I left, there were more people that pulled up and had the same issue that I had. My son and I have been regular customers at this location for almost 12 years, and we both like the food. For the most part, the service is good. Recently, however, the restaurant was remodeled, and it's not an improvement. Most of the booths were replaced with tiny tables and very uncomfortable chairs, or long tables with high stools--both of which are bad for those of us with mobility issues. The only problem this new "décor" solves is that they'll no longer have one person per large booth, with computers or newspapers spread out comfortably while groups of three, four or more are cramped around small tables. read more

This used to be one of the good McDonald's, not any more. I have now had two bad experiences in a month.. Today I waited at the speaker while the drive thru person took 4 cars orders from the other speaker. When I said hello, he said "one second" and proceeded to take another person from the other speaker, then another. When I said hello again, nothing... then I heard someone in the background laughing and saying this guy is mad, obviously referencing me. I gave up and finally was able to get out of line after waiting longer. Then I proceeded to the lobby, it was closed but a nice employee (I believe his name was Chris) went inside and asked the manager to speak with me, whoever that was said they were busy. Too coward to come and explain why they completely ignored one side of the line and laughed doing it? I can tell you, they weren't busy managing. After waiting 20 minutes for a simple order I had to go back to the counter and ask the manager where my food was. It was there waiting to be brought out, lord knows how long it was there. Then I asked for napkins because the dispencer was out and I was told that they were out of them. I can't believe a restaurant could be out of napkins. Then I reminded her that the dollar store was across the street and maybe one of the employees could go get some(seemed logical, because there were a lot of people working but only a few actually doing something).
