This was the prime example of why fast food is gross. I was jumpin' in- I didn't care. Nose first into some piping hot french fries and a Big Mac after a long day of work. Placed my order. NOPE. Terrible luck tonight. Took a long time (thought- YES hot fries! Wahoo!) Nada- denied- got the 2 cheese burger meal- ewww- what? It took forever so we weren't waiting again- day started at 4AM. Manager- walk your front end- your tables are covered in crumbs. The floors are filthy. All flats and verticals need wiped and some need the deck brush and a deep clean. Take yourself and a few fun staff members and a cloth and help get it right! Make it a game. Give away a free cone to the best side or cleanliest and prettiest table. 2. Manager- DO NOT YELL AT STAFF IN FRONT OF PREP AREA. I don't care that he was 15 minutes late. I don't care that "someone got fired" for being late. I don't care (but see why). Your numbers are down- buck stops right in front of you Missy (tonight at 6pm). 3. Manager- Your servers need to keep their hands out of their pockets and not count their own change when at register (zoey). 4. Manager- make sure your front staff Confirm your orders w/ guests before finalizing. Come on -Basic McD U bs right there. 5. Manager- Fake it till you make it to the end of your shift- thats what I am paying for. Saw the NOW HIRING SMILING FACES plastered all over your windows. Makes sense- there aren't any in there tonight. See how each tip starts with the manager? That is because that is exactly where good service starts and end. Your example, your expectation, your instruction and guidance is on display right there at the counter (and beyond). Sadly- you failed at all of these and need some retraining yourself. I stopped by here tonight around 9:30 to dine in. The manager on duty, Corey, a young dark haired guy waited on me. He was polite enough, but it seemed there were some off duty employees and their friends eating there. The manager kept telling over the counter to talk with them in the dining area. The place wasn't busy, but I waited at least 6 or 7 minutes for my food. The manager and his friends were all openly using profanity in front of customers without a 2nd thought. It doesn't really bother me, but it is very unprofessional and I'm sure others with kids wouldn't be very happy about it. I went back up to order a McFlurry for dessert. There was a girl working the register and it took her a good 2 minutes before she waited on me. Her back was turned half the time and she was engaged in conversation with some of the other workers. After I ordered, it took another 6 or 7 mins. Corey made it, but he even stopped in the middle of making it and carried it over to the front counter to finish talking with his friend before finishing it up. It's as if there's no sense of urgency when there's customers waiting. I will give him credit though, he gave me a large when I paid for snack size since I had to wait so long. He also made it the right way with the McFlurry machine. A big pet peeve of mine at many McDonald's is when they just stir it a couple times by hand so they don't have to get the machine dirty. I wouldn't say I'll never stop here again because the food was good. They just need to step it up a bit and show a little more professionalism around customers. read more

Total disappointment. We went here after an orthodontist appointment because my son was starving for something for breakfast. They shorted our order one breakfast wrap and gave us a vanilla cappuccino without mixing the syrup. The first taste was like .... "BLECK! Where is the flavor??" I kept trying to stir the cappuccino by sipping some from the top and moving the remainder in a circular motion but it wasn't until most of the coffee was gone that I could taste the vanilla syrup in the bottom of the cup. I ate there Thursday and was the only thing I ate and I got food poisoning because they don't temp the quarter meat which half the time it comes out red and/or raw and I've seen people's burgers that they came back and if you took a bite out of a cow it would most likely taste the same I would not recommend quarter pounders to anyone the other meats they actually cook but I get sick off of their food and have many friends who have too. This is my second review for this McDonald's restaurant. My other review was one star only because I couldn't give a lower rating. My wife and I decided to give this place one more visit since my last review hoping it improved. Were we ever wrong. The place was actually filthier. When we drove in the parking area, all the spots were taken except a few on the far side of the building. Figuring the place was packed we decided to go in anyway. There were only a few diners in side make me think that the lazy employees are parking in the patrons area. We couldn't get the automatic ordering devices to work and couldn't get any help from the employees so I went to the counter to order. Apparently other customers were having the same issues because none was using the automated system. Having issues with dirty, sticky tables and chairs we finally found a reasonably clean are and sat down. Going up to the condiment area was horrible. No lids. No ketchup or containers. Napkins, straws, spilled soda and ketchup all over the counter and floor. Liquid running out from under the trash bins. No way to dump your tray without getting stickey old smelly food on your hands or clothes. Had to be careful not to fall down because the places that you don't stick to the floor you slip and slid. I would love to contact the board of health about this place but apparently they aren't doing their job either. I cringe when I think about who may have prepared my meal. I will drive the ten miles to the Lewisburg McDonald's before I go anywhere near this one. Keep healthy. Don't go in this place. read more

This is the only McDonald's that does not give change back. I came to the McDonald's on Friday June 3, 2011 around 7pm. I gave the cashier at drive-through a $100.00 and she could not count the change. The dumb, dingy broad tried three times and called the manager to help; she was even more retarded, because she tried to give me the correct change and couldn't either. After she attempted and could not count the money back I got mad and asked for my $100.00 back and went across the street to Burger King. What a shame. As a previous manager of fast food, I was embarrassed for this incredibly huge food chain. I will not eat there and have let many people, probably over 300, that they are dumb or try to steal. This McDonalds is consistent on one thing: at not being consistent. Fries, always under done & cold & never salted. The drive thru makes you "pull to the waiting area" for a simple cheeseburger. The employees act like it's a chore to take your order....very monotone in their greeting. Drink orders are never right....do not order an unsweetened tea with 4 splendas...it wont have any in it. Always check your bag, because they always screw it up, and you end up missing something. Which I fully believe they should have to reimburse you for it but do not. Then they give you a "parking ticket" for a free pie on your next visit for your inconvenience, yet it expires the day they issue it to you! What a joke! My husband and myself were in the Playplace area with our toddlers eating our breakfast (McDonalds coffee, breakfast burritos, mcgriddles, hashbrowns, etc and Panera bagels-only outside item). This is a regular tradition for our family at various MsDonald locations throughout the eastern US. We were approached by the manager Pam to leave because of our outside food purchase. (We are a mixed raced family.) Another family was in there doing the same kind of thing with a different brand and was not approached. Pam stated it was posted on the door. (This too was NOT true per the pictures my husband took of the entrance. Plus you can see Pam yelling at my husband in the picture with your McDonald's manager uniform on. Also what about families with allergies, infants on formula, and other specialized food consumers but the rest of the family wants to enjoy MsDonald's food and family atmosphere?) She was extremely rude and yelling at my husband and family when I never even spoke to the woman as we were leaving. Pam stated that this is McDonlads policy (why was the other family not approached and this practice is allowed at ALL the other locations we have visited). Several witnesses (your customers) made comments about your manager stating that they thought this only happened in the south. I was extremely embarrassed plus it upset my kids to the point they started crying and screaming because they love your restaurant. They did not understand what was going on. We have always had a great experience with McDonald's until today. The family is so disheartened by this experience we will NOT be going back to McDonald's anywhere and WILL be telling all about this. read more
