Ordered at the counter big breakfast with steak biscuits hash brown carnal latte orange juice. Dine in Didn't receive pancakes I went to the counter 3 times Finally spoke to manager She I never asked for pancake. She did not ask if I do something to accommodate me for my inconvenience. What perfect to end horrible experience with this more reasons why I will not recommend this mc Donald's nor I recommend this town to anyone. read more

Of all of the McDonald's locations I have visited this has to be the worst store for service. I just waited 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. This location needs a new management team as it has been delivering poor service for quite sometime with no improvement over the past several years. The owner of this location should be repremanded by the McDonald's Corp. for such a poor showing of it's brand. read more

They are not customer friendly, had to go over to the side and park for food to be brought to my car, waited 20 minutes, finally went inside, was told they forgot about my order, no apology, they said they were "busy", which I understand but you can still say you're sorry. Gonna be awhile till we go back to this establishment. read more

McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania

Service is slower than slow. If you want any type of food, you might as well stay in the drive thru. They focus on the drive thru and not the customers inside. Oh, drive thru is slow as hell too. Backed up onto 11/15. The place is nice inside. Clean. Play place. But the staff has no urgency to get food out at all. Took us 30 mins to get two simple sandwiches and an OJ. Just as bad as Newport McDonalds. Zero stars!!!!!!!! read more

Decent fast food it's not original best atmosphere inside still decent prices the way to pay inside is not original can't say recommend but would recommend the drive-through pay it's still OK read more

Will not be coming back to this location. You can thank Brea, in photo, for that. Bitch argued with me I only get half a cup of tea if I don't order ice. As someone who hates watered down drinks (& doesn't like super cold drinks), I always order a drink without ice. So riduculous. But she was rude and argued with me about it, claiming she was a manager and this was their policy. FYI: IT'S NOT. I called & spoke to the general manager. read more

If I could go 0 stars I would. The sink in the bathroom didn't work and most of the available tables were dirty. As well as trash cans overflowing. Who ever own this facility needs to get a handle on this. McDonald is a multimillion dollar industry, this this is ridiculous! read more

Sorry. I know its popular with the college kids, but that place is full of flies. I ordered a burger, and the flies were landing on the hot dogs piled to the side and on my grilled onions as they sat on the grill. I declined them. Dirty. Maybe its safer to eat there during the winter when the fly population has died. I just don't trust it. read more

Extremely slow service. This is the WORST McDonalds establishment I've ever attended. I avoid this atrocity of a " restaurant" at all costs. Only in dire straits do I ever come here. Would not recommend. read more

Just on ordinary McDonald's. We came in a large bus group and got everything to go. The service was fast and everyone quickly placed and received their order and within 30 minutes we were back on the road. Don't forget the hash browns, they are amazing. They fuck my order and there ice cream matching never workers, the workers are annoying and are always mad

Very clean McDonalds off the road, it's probably super convenient for tour buses and truckers. Open 24/7 I believe, and there's a play area too! read more

Typical McDonald's food, which is just fine. The restaurant has been really renovated in the last couple of years, so it looks really new. The inside service is average paced. Downside: the drive through is SLOW. The whole town seems to arrive at noon sharp , so avoid this time. It is not pet-friendly if you are stopping on the way through. read more

We've came here a few times and every time they mess up an order. Wether is no cheese or extra tomato. It never fails. The fries are cold every single time. We took them back and asked for fresh ones a few minutes later they came out with the same plate with the same cold fries, one worker even tried fighting with us saying the fries we're fresh. read more

This was the prime example of why fast food is gross. I was jumpin' in- I didn't care. Nose first into some piping hot french fries and a Big Mac after a long day of work. Placed my order. NOPE. Terrible luck tonight. Took a long time (thought- YES hot fries! Wahoo!) Nada- denied- got the 2 cheese burger meal- ewww- what? It took forever so we weren't waiting again- day started at 4AM. Eat food...grumble along the way. Fries were less than luke warm. So okay - stop. I hate giving poor reviews without tips on how it could be better: 1. Manager- walk your front end- your tables are covered in crumbs. The floors are filthy. All flats and verticals need wiped and some need the deck brush and a deep clean. Take yourself and a few fun staff members and a cloth and help get it right! Make it a game. Give away a free cone to the best side or cleanliest and prettiest table. 2. Manager- DO NOT YELL AT STAFF IN FRONT OF PREP AREA. I don't care that he was 15 minutes late. I don't care that "someone got fired" for being late. I don't care (but see why). Your numbers are down- buck stops right in front of you Missy (tonight at 6pm). 3. Manager- Your servers need to keep their hands out of their pockets and not count their own change when at register (zoey). 4. Manager- make sure your front staff Confirm your orders w/ guests before finalizing. Come on -Basic McD U bs right there. 5. Manager- Fake it till you make it to the end of your shift- thats what I am paying for. Saw the NOW HIRING SMILING FACES plastered all over your windows. Makes sense- there aren't any in there tonight. See how each tip starts with the manager? That is because that is exactly where good service starts and end. Your example, your expectation, your instruction and guidance is on display right there at the counter (and beyond). Sadly- you failed at all of these and need some retraining yourself. Maybe a few more Supervisor 101 videos to help you find the success. I KNOW YOU SHOWED UP TO HAVE A GREAT NIGHT. No one heads out of their house to fail for 8-10hrs a night on purpose. I get it- you gotta get the team on board. You can do it! I have faith. I'll give you a few months because quality change can take time. But, I'll see ya again. Until then- catch them being good- you'll see progress instantly! Hugs and good luck! read more

No matter what time and day you go to this particular McDonald's, there always seems to be a problem. Most of the time the problem is the quality of the food. I got an Egg McMuffin this morning and they must have nuked the hell out of that. The edges of the English muffin I could not even eat it was that hard. Every time I visit this McDonald's, there is a problem with something. The food is either not fresh or it's cold. Never fails. read more

I stopped by here tonight around 9:30 to dine in. The manager on duty, Corey, a young dark haired guy waited on me. He was polite enough, but it seemed there were some off duty employees and their friends eating there. The manager kept telling over the counter to talk with them in the dining area. The place wasn't busy, but I waited at least 6 or 7 minutes for my food. The manager and his friends were all openly using profanity in front of customers without a 2nd thought. It doesn't really bother me, but it is very unprofessional and I'm sure others with kids wouldn't be very happy about it. I went back up to order a McFlurry for dessert. There was a girl working the register and it took her a good 2 minutes before she waited on me. Her back was turned half the time and she was engaged in conversation with some of the other workers. After I ordered, it took another 6 or 7 mins. Corey made it, but he even stopped in the middle of making it and carried it over to the front counter to finish talking with his friend before finishing it up. It's as if there's no sense of urgency when there's customers waiting. I will give him credit though, he gave me a large when I paid for snack size since I had to wait so long. He also made it the right way with the McFlurry machine. A big pet peeve of mine at many McDonald's is when they just stir it a couple times by hand so they don't have to get the machine dirty. I wouldn't say I'll never stop here again because the food was good. They just need to step it up a bit and show a little more professionalism around customers. read more

McDonald's - the inside of a restaurant - Fast Food Near Me - Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania

Total disappointment. We went here after an orthodontist appointment because my son was starving for something for breakfast. They shorted our order one breakfast wrap and gave us a vanilla cappuccino without mixing the syrup. The first taste was like .... "BLECK! Where is the flavor??" I kept trying to stir the cappuccino by sipping some from the top and moving the remainder in a circular motion but it wasn't until most of the coffee was gone that I could taste the vanilla syrup in the bottom of the cup. By the time we discovered these problems it was too late and we were miles away sitting in traffic. Why can't these chain stores stay consistent?? read more

They get one star because they have free WiFi. Disgusting restaurant! There's a river of juice running across the floor coming from under the trash bins inside, can't throw your trash away because it's full. Ketchup splattered all over, no cups for the ketchup. Couldn't get to the drinks because the McDonald's worker was standing in front of the tea drinking it from a tiny cups and then refilling about 5 times. Won't be back. read more

Went through the drive thru for a late night meal after a long day on the road and we waited over 15 minutes in the drive thru. The lady at the drive thru window also had an attitude. I work there currently and love serving people but the quarter pounder meat is ridiculous. I ate there Thursday and was the only thing I ate and I got food poisoning because they don't temp the quarter meat which half the time it comes out red and/or raw and I've seen people's burgers that they came back and if you took a bite out of a cow it would most likely taste the same I would not recommend quarter pounders to anyone the other meats they actually cook but I get sick off of their food and have many friends who have too. As a matter of fact I'm still sick and it's a few days later and if I could I would've rated it a 0 star because this place sucks and other employees like slacking off Instead of doing their job not trying to get fired but going to this place to eat sucks I mean hey freedom of speech read more

The food was slightly below average for McDonald's and the service was poor at best. I pulled up to the drive thru with my typical "hello, how are you" and in return I got a dirty look, the wrong order thrown at me and the window slammed shut by a frumpy looking a$$ hat. To make matters worse she gave me an attitude when I told her we got the wrong order. She then throws another bag at us with no ketchup, napkins, etc. I though maybe she was having a bad day but then the guy who replaced her was just as bad as the other mort. I realize working the drive thru may not be the best job, but everyone starts somewhere and I can only hope those dip shards learn common courtesy and a little customer service. Needless to say I will travel a little further up the road the next time I'm in town. read more

This is my second review for this McDonald's restaurant. My other review was one star only because I couldn't give a lower rating. My wife and I decided to give this place one more visit since my last review hoping it improved. Were we ever wrong. The place was actually filthier. When we drove in the parking area, all the spots were taken except a few on the far side of the building. Figuring the place was packed we decided to go in anyway. There were only a few diners in side make me think that the lazy employees are parking in the patrons area. We couldn't get the automatic ordering devices to work and couldn't get any help from the employees so I went to the counter to order. Apparently other customers were having the same issues because none was using the automated system. Having issues with dirty, sticky tables and chairs we finally found a reasonably clean are and sat down. Going up to the condiment area was horrible. No lids. No ketchup or containers. Napkins, straws, spilled soda and ketchup all over the counter and floor. Liquid running out from under the trash bins. No way to dump your tray without getting stickey old smelly food on your hands or clothes. Had to be careful not to fall down because the places that you don't stick to the floor you slip and slid. I would love to contact the board of health about this place but apparently they aren't doing their job either. I cringe when I think about who may have prepared my meal. I will drive the ten miles to the Lewisburg McDonald's before I go anywhere near this one. Keep healthy. Don't go in this place. read more

went thru the drive thru, ordered a large filet of fish meal, asked the order taker if i can exchange the large soda with a chocolate shake, she replied yes, at the window I had realized that had charged me for the entire meal plus the chocolate shake is supposed to be 2.00 was charged 2.49 extra, i tried to ask the girl about the charges, her reply was "I don't know", so I pulled to the second window after not getting anywhere with the first girl, asked to talk to a manager, the manager argued with me and told me I was holding up the line, felt like asking for a refund but I had already sat in line for 20 min. then when I opened the bag discovered that the large fry carton was only filled half way, will never return, should have had the hamburgerler running the windows, feeling ripped off. it was in shamokin dam, pa not san Francisco read more

This is the only McDonald's that does not give change back. I came to the McDonald's on Friday June 3, 2011 around 7pm. I gave the cashier at drive-through a $100.00 and she could not count the change. The dumb, dingy broad tried three times and called the manager to help; she was even more retarded, because she tried to give me the correct change and couldn't either. After she attempted and could not count the money back I got mad and asked for my $100.00 back and went across the street to Burger King. What a shame. As a previous manager of fast food, I was embarrassed for this incredibly huge food chain. I will not eat there and have let many people, probably over 300, that they are dumb or try to steal. I will copy and paste this and send it to the franchise owner. This is a serious problem, and needs to be evaluated by McDonald's name holders. AVOID THIS SCAM BEING DONE BY CASHIERS AND THE MANAGER THAT WORKED THAT NIGHT! TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN AWAY FROM THIS CORRUPT BUSINESS AND GO TO ANY OTHER FAST FOOD RESTAURANT UNTIL THESE HEISTERS ARE CAUGHT! read more

This McDonalds is consistent on one thing: at not being consistent. Fries, always under done & cold & never salted. The drive thru makes you "pull to the waiting area" for a simple cheeseburger. The employees act like it's a chore to take your order....very monotone in their greeting. Drink orders are never right....do not order an unsweetened tea with 4 splendas...it wont have any in it. Always check your bag, because they always screw it up, and you end up missing something. Which I fully believe they should have to reimburse you for it but do not. Then they give you a "parking ticket" for a free pie on your next visit for your inconvenience, yet it expires the day they issue it to you! What a joke! In my opinion, this is the worst McDonalds in the area....I'd rather drive to Lewisburg. read more

My husband and myself were in the Playplace area with our toddlers eating our breakfast (McDonalds coffee, breakfast burritos, mcgriddles, hashbrowns, etc and Panera bagels-only outside item). This is a regular tradition for our family at various MsDonald locations throughout the eastern US. We were approached by the manager Pam to leave because of our outside food purchase. (We are a mixed raced family.) Another family was in there doing the same kind of thing with a different brand and was not approached. Pam stated it was posted on the door. (This too was NOT true per the pictures my husband took of the entrance. Plus you can see Pam yelling at my husband in the picture with your McDonald's manager uniform on. Also what about families with allergies, infants on formula, and other specialized food consumers but the rest of the family wants to enjoy MsDonald's food and family atmosphere?) She was extremely rude and yelling at my husband and family when I never even spoke to the woman as we were leaving. Pam stated that this is McDonlads policy (why was the other family not approached and this practice is allowed at ALL the other locations we have visited). Several witnesses (your customers) made comments about your manager stating that they thought this only happened in the south. I was extremely embarrassed plus it upset my kids to the point they started crying and screaming because they love your restaurant. They did not understand what was going on. We have always had a great experience with McDonald's until today. The family is so disheartened by this experience we will NOT be going back to McDonald's anywhere and WILL be telling all about this. read more
