This is a typical Applebee's. I came here on a Saturday afternoon at about 145 PM with about 6 friends. I had the 8 ounce sirloin. It was nothing to write home about, but was cooked rare as I like it. The food here is like every other Applebee's. The reason I am giving a low review is the service. It was extremely slow especially for a Saturday afternoon away from the rush hour. We were in a little bit of a hurry and the whole transaction just took too long. The bottom line is the food was ok (typical for an Applebee's). The service left a lot to be desired. read more

I haven't been here for a couple of years and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything came out nice and hot. Bathrooms were clean, service was great. Beer was cold. No waiting ( we went at 5:15 ) and everywhere else has had ridiculous waiting times. Hope this continues! read more

ok to start with the servers are very friendly and nice.....but our silverware was missing when food was brought out and absolutely no napkins. when the Alfredo was brought out it was about as small for a child to be able to eat in one sitting. note the alfredo is at-least $17-18. you get piece of bread with it but it was as hard as the tree in my back yard(I live in an apartment lol) so I wouldn't eat it. hubby couldn't even have ketchup with his fries cause although the bottle for it was there...there was nothing in it. the burger for him was ehhh. it was like a Wendy's burger. he originally wanted wings but there are only 8 of them on one plate for $14-$15. which is wildly high. read more

Being a the road all day we wanted something other then fast food to eat, then we saw the sign for Applebee's. Service was amazing, the hostess knew we were tired and got us seated right away with drinks. Our server was the same way, order in right away and brought us some chips and salsa on the house. For dinner I went with the chicken tenders platter, switching out french fries for a side salad. Everything was great, just what I needed. I appreciated how the server made sure our drinks were never empty, he noticed when I was almost out of honey mustard sauce and brought more of that as well. About April 6, 2022 stopped in for lunch. We are fairly regular's there. This time though I ordered the baby backs as usual. What a mistake. They claim made to fall off the bone tenderness. We walked in for a girls night to have a few drinks and could cut the tension in the restaurant like a knife. Not only had the bartender just screamed and cussed at a couple but the reason she screamed, cussed and talked down on the paying customer was because they simply asked why they couldn't have a beer at the table with their children. According to many workers who came up to talk to us about why we couldn't drink with a 20 year old at our table....we were told that she gets away with everything and nothing will be done. She walks around like she owns the place, refused to make several drinks AND while everything settled she was still behind the bar with numerous workers talking very loudly and unprofessionally. Tatiana...tiana or whatever her name was needs to be pulled into that back office and let go. There's a difference between having a bad day and chasing people out of your local Applebees because you want to act like THAT. I'll never return here and neither will half the people who complained while we were there. If I tell my waitress "hey I think we will be leaving it's very awkward here" and tianna or tatianna has to say loudly "WHATS GOING ON?" You know it's a problem. It was not only none of her business to eavesdrop but once again...we didn't even feel comfortable eating their. The dirty looks and death stares we were getting were terrible. They have very good appetizers and the car side go is convenient but not very fast. I gave this 4 stars because if I do car side to go I tend to sit there 15 minutes after my order time before they finally come out with my food. So then my wonton tacos tend to get soggy. Haven't been there a very long time but back in the day the service was pretty good. Today however all of her food came it was all warm and to the right temperature which was a good thing I guess. Problem was none of our plates were cleared from the table during a whole visit. there was so much stuff on the table that I even spilled a drink trying to reach over it to grab the drink. When it comes time to pay your bill you have to use this little terminal that sits on the table. what's the point you still have to wait for someone to bring you a paper receipt which took forever. read more

Something above and beyond. Driving through P.A on our way to NY to flea hurricane Irma from Florida. Orginally from NY was driving my family back up for a few days. Order 3 salads to go at about 3 on Sept 11th. The bartender who was amazing told me my salads should be done soon. We got to talking and found out we were from Florida. She goes to check on our salads and comes back with my food and a manager. Asked how long we were staying in the area. And I said just for lunch. The manager proceeded to tell me our meals were taken care of. A tiny gesture kept my faith in humanity. He didn't have to do that because we were victims of a natural disaster. These employees and this location deserve an amazing praise for a simple gesture you would hope many would do but few actually fulfill. On the night after Christmas 2016, we took a party of 6 to the Susquehanna Trail Applebee's for what we hoped would be a relatively quick, tasty-enough dinner. Bad move. The visit started with a surly hostess and ended more than two hours later with medium-rare steak that was back and tough as a boot heel and a Southwest dinner salad with the pallor of corpse. The kitchen was slow and inept. They may have been short-staffed or they may have been untrained. Hard to tell. Waiter and bartender did their best to play a bad hand. They get the single star -- for courage. The Susquehanna Trail is loaded with mediocre big-box restaurants. Applebees manages to stand out. Worst of the worst! Nachos- salty salty chips! Salsa was Eh....Aldi's has better salsa! No spice to it. Don't get the southwestern sirloin salad! Steak was fatty. Salad dressing was overwhelming in quantity & cilantro! Lots of iceberg lettuce & hardly any black beans. Cheap cheap cheap on their part. Pictures in menu are much prettier than the actual food that they bring out. Mac & cheese is a waste of your money and calorie intake. Elbows with cheese melted on top...buy some in the freezer section of your grocery store & you will be happier! Service was good. Always get the two for $20. Boneless honey BBQ wings with ranch, they really cut back on the celery though. Like 3 pieces now which sucks bc I like celery with every bite of wing. And always get the fiesta lime chicken, with fries, side of sour cream n side of ranch. Fries have been WAY too salty. Last like 3-4 visits, always forget to tell waitress no salt. And have gotten the bacon mac n cheese, it's good. And just had the cedar grilled lemon chicken. It's delicious! I'll definitely get it again. Steaks are good too. Always been a fan of their steaks. I went to Applebee's with my boyfriend on the way back home from NY. It was a pleasant surprised. Having not dined at an Applebee's in a over 3 years. I enjoyed my meal. It wasn't anything special (but my veggie burger and onion rings were satisfying). It was perfect for the long road trip we had ahead of us. The service at this Applebee's is outstanding. Discover Card had a $25 gift card for $20 so I decided to get it. To see the decline of Applebee's is somewhat shocking. There use to be lines out the door. No more! This place is in dire need of a management overhaul. Do they even train their staff anymore? Did they just give up? Our food was fair but the staff was pathetic. No friendly greeting, no holding the door, no thank you for stopping. Our waitress brought my drink refill just in time for my last bite of food.
