This is a very busy McDonald's location within an Asian strip mall. It's open 24-7 and has a drive-thru service, a large dining area plus a kids playground inside the restaurant. Seating consists of booths, counter tables & chairs, single seat couches plus regular tables & chairs. High chairs are available for the kids. Four self-order stations are available as regular counter staff order stations. There's a lineup area for mobile order pickup too. Restrooms are clean.

Tried the new seasonal blueberry cream cheese danish and it was delish! The pastry was nice and soft on the inside and flaky on the outside.

For a chain restaurant this location falls way short of standards expected for the brand name.

I clocked 38 hours on top of my regular work hours. My eyes! My dad was sweet to get me lunch from Popeyes one day during this craziness. My growling stomach and eyes appreciated the nourishment and rest, respectively. He dropped by this Popeyes on Bamburgh Circle. I have never been there, but I used to frequent the McDonald's often over decade ago. My dad says that they are next door to each other. My dad got me a four-piece fried chicken meal. It came with a side, a biscuit, and a drink. My dad knows that I like the mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy and coleslaw. He got me the former, which is perfect to dip the chicken (regular recipe and not the spicy) into the gravy. He also got me a Diet Coke. My meal hit the spot. The chicken was crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. I love the mashed potatoes with the Cajun gravy. The gravy has a slight kick that compliments the mashed potatoes nicely. I liked my Diet Coke that washed down everything. It was perfect. The food was delicious and much appreciated. When it doubt, fried chicken to the rescue! (72)

We came on an afternoon during the weekday and it was super quiet so we were concerned. No customer or lines always worries! The menu is concise and pretty standard width chicken sandwhich, popcorn chicken, chicken pieces bone in, or boneless chicken. We got the popcorn chicken (which was pretty sad and bland actually), fries (like costcos but not crispy), the chicken sandwhich (decent and would have again), and the boneless chicken (with small amount of mala spice. It's quite tasty but very oily so you get tired of it after awhile. It was flavourful though without too much spiciness) Overall a decent joint but with so many chicken spots on our hit list, this one isn't high on the revisit list.

They have more than just popcorn chicken and strips though, they also carry sandwiches! We had to travel a bit with our take out order before we could dig in. It lasted really well partially because of the smart packaging that had built in holes to let out steam. The packaging was also super unique, mostly Marvel themed chicken characters! I had the popcorn chicken. There were only a few pieces that were all batter. For the most part, they were juicy and delicious. A great option that's open later on the weekdays!

It took two people fifteen minutes to make it. - Communication to the customer on how long it would take for my order to be ready wasn't stellar. On Wednesday night, after driving home from Mississauga, I felt like a milkshake. Where should I get one? I remembered that the Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shake location in Scarborough that I had visited months ago offered milkshakes. I also remembered this Boardwalk location in Markham. It used to be South St. Burger. Markham used to have two locations. It now has zero, which is a downer. I came here at nearly 9 pm. There were lots of parking spots. I pulled into one and entered the store. The Boardwalk is a combo store with Lava Grill. There is one entrance for both eateries. I walked in. There was a couple enjoying a meal. I was the only person at the order area, which is shared between the two eateries. It took a while for the man at Boardwalk to come over. He was making burgers. I ordered these items: - Strawberry shake without whipped cream - Dubai chocolate brownie I paid with a credit card. Done. Communication is an issue here. This man continued making burgers and fries. He didn't let me know how long it would take to make my order. I wasn't in a rush, but I didn't know that it would take fifteen minutes for two folks to try and make my milkshake. I did like that the press for the burgers automatically came down on the patties and had a timer. I also watched fries go into hot oil and the basket automatically come up once the fries were done. It was also on a timer. I noticed that burger man got Lava guy to make my shake. They both went into the back. Burger man came back to assemble the burgers. Lava guy was still in the back. My guess was that there was some issue making my shake. Again, I got no communication until Lava guy came out to look at my order and told me it would be two minutes. Um, sure. I didn't believe it. I was right. I decided to sit down. Burger guy had finished making the burgers. He went outside. He came back in. His first communication to me was two fingers up in the area. Two minutes or victory?! Five minutes later, I saw a shake come out from the back. Lava guy was holding it. Lava guy took a box with a brownie and packed it in a paper bag. I got a napkin, a fork, and a spoon. He handed me a pretty strawberry shake and my paper bag. I thanked both guys, more relieved than anything, and left. I got into my car and drove home. Despite the wait and the lack of decent communication, the two items that I had were excellent. The strawberry milkshake was yummy. I loved the strawberry flavour. It was creamy and enjoyable. I had the Dubai chocolate brownie yesterday. It was so good. I loved the crispy bits with pistachio cream and a delectable, moist brownie layer. Yum! I'm thinking that ordering online and coming here to pick up my order would be best. This place seems to take its time because it seems to be on its own time. Boardwalk has happy hour deals at night. I may give it a try next time. Here's hoping that communication is better. (190)

You can tell from the taped over menu that the prices have been slowly increasing over the years - but they're still quite reasonable. The two of us were able to get a good meal for less than $20. I do think they only accept cash, consistent with the other restaurants in the food court as well. We ordered one fried noodle dish ($8.85) and wonton & beef brisket with flat noodle in soup ($7.99). They do charge tax so it ended up being $19 flat. Both dishes also came with a beverage, and I think soy milk is the only cold one without an additional upcharge so we both ordered that. The fried noodles were a great portion - the taste was pretty average. The main flavour is salt! For the soup noodles, it was actually pretty good - they gave 3 large pork and shrimp wontons, and a couple pieces of beef which were tasty and well marinated. I will say that the noodles themselves lacked any real flavour, but such is the case with most rice noodles. I'd definitely get it again for the price. Overall it's simple and fast, don't expect anything mind-blowing.
