Service was great from the guy working the front counter at 4:27pm 7/15/25- very sweet and accommodating and a very good quick worker despite it being so busy - couldn't tell if he was the manager or not read more

Still good I had Hotcakes & Sausage on my mind this morning and swung by this McDonald's, hoping the dining room was open. It was. As a result of the pandemic and staffing issues, not all McDonald dining rooms are open in the area. This dining room was large, clean, a nice layout, and empty of other customers. The drive-thru was busy. My order taker included pleasantries in addition to asking what I wanted. I requested 2 syrups with this breakfast and got them without having to ask a second time. Good job. It only took a couple of minutes for my food to be ready. The food was fine, exactly what I have come to expect. The sausage has a good flavor, the pancakes do good with soaking up the syrup. read more

First and foremost, McDonald's is in a category called "fast food" which in this case is an absolute joke. Nothing is fast about the place except perhaps for the gastrointestinal issues you will encounter soon after. When I pulled in at 7 AM on a Saturday there were literally over 20 cars waiting to order at the drive thru. For expedience sake I decided to walk in. This is wheee I discovered the issue. Three employees slowly meandering about with no purpose in life. This was the walk of the living dead. Little Rose at the counter needs to learn how to pick up the pace. You can do more than wait in one customer every 15 minutes. Her efforts were wholeheartedly endorsed by the manager who's sole purpose in life seems to be making g sure her makeup is just right - and it's not- this is a fast food place not a strip club honey. Worst service, slowest pace and the food isn't worth dealing with this garbage. Plenty of other places around to spend my food dollar. A sandwich from a Circle K or a vending machine would be quicker and taste the same. Poor franchisee who owns this place must be losing his shirt, or his desire to do business is what creates this crap atmosphere. Stay away! read more

I've lived right down the road from this McDonalds for the past 23 years. The past 23 years they have been HORRIBLE. Every. Single. Time. They either "aren't open" (funny because they're 24hrs), they take FOREVER, or they get your order wrong. I have had to sit in line for 2+ hours multiple times with barely any other cars waiting read more

never again... just this morning, i order 2 freakin things for bkfast, both should have been hot. i feel like a sucka, never ever again to any mcdees for hot coffee. ive been to dunkin and starbucks, and every single time, they serve the coffee hot... not the morons at mcdonalds, just too hard for them. read more

Always great to us, we come in every Tuesday night during the car meets. Thanks for all that you guys do!

Asked for a large Coke kid hand it to me completely overfilled spills all over me in the car. No apology asked for napkins. He hands me napkins. I clean up what I could clean up then I asked for more napkins. The kids try not to use them all at once. I'm like are you kidding me? It's all over my car all over and you're trying to limit how many napkins I can use that. After spilling all over my car and paying two dollars for cost $.10 they're worried about the cost of napkins? Also, the menu is outdated and they charge more on the register than their menu prices. read more

Like many fast food places lately, the food is not fresh very often and you better check your bag before you leave. This is my neighborhood McDonald's and we've been horribly disappointed with this location. read more

I have been using this McDonald's for breakfast for the past year. I must say, I get excellent service, but there are three employees in particular who give great customer service there. They go above and beyond for the customers of McDonald's. The employees are Robin, Jimmy, and Brenda. If these three my employees were working in my company, They would definitely get a raise and compensated with a promotion, and a monthly gift card, etc. Now a days ,employees like them are hard to find and retain. Thank you so much for your excellent service for my breakfast daily.See yous tomorrow ! read more

Very disorganized and inefficient. It was the beginning of the dinner rush but they didn't seem to have things all together. Seemed confused by a mobile order pickup, too. The inside wasn't as clean as others in the area. The food was good and seemed reasonably fresh - not super hot but pretty warm, lettuce in the Big Mac was crisp so freshly made. Overall, better to continue down Bee Ridge to the next one. read more

Bathrooms extremely dirty. No toilet paper. Very poor, pick a different location! I'm

The service is horrible they have a lady working there in the drive through she is nasty is not the first time. You guys can't have tha kind of people working with customers. read more

Again, I'm NOT a big fan of fast food but when on the road on a pretty long trip, you just need that little bit of Mickey D's to keep you going! I do have to say that the service was excellent. The cashiers were really nice! read more

McDonald's - a woman posing in front of a poster - Fast Food Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

The drive-thru was empty but, the one car in front of me ordered a fish fillet which disgusted me. But once I got over that, I ordered my food, the person at the first window was great at their job. Second window, not the same. Took about 2 minutes to get my food, I shouldn't even have to stop, they should just throw it through the window as I'm driving. Food was great tho. The ice cream machine actually worked. Sweet tea is very sweet, there inconsistent about that. They included my straws and spoons read more

I'd give zero stars if given the chance. Not only did they take 5 mins just to take my order, but then they messed it up. I waited 10 mins for an ice coffee and a pie while 4 orders after me got their food consisting of sandwhiches and fries and finally I get my coffee and there is no milk. I ask them to remake it and this big mouth lady with a lisp gave me MAJOR additude saying "well your order didnt say milk" and then proceeded to remake it. Then I go "what about my pie" and was given even more attitude from this woman. And then I GET THE WRONG PIE. Not to mention the bathrooms were so dirty and I saw 3 cockroaches in there. Awful service literally just go to another store they need to be inspected for real. read more

If I could leave zero I would. This place should be shutdown. Food always is horrible. Takes them 40 minutes to cook it. And the people working there are rude as hell. read more

The food and service is average, but this location has absolutely the slowest drive-thru. Zzzz....

Came here late night and pulled in the drive though, menu board was lit I could hear the speaker on. I was there saying hello for several minutes got nothing so I drove to the window where people were ducking and hiding from customers and not taking orders. Letting all the cars drive away because they didn't feel like working! I had to drive to another McDonald's and have the mgr there give me info on how to report the incident to corporate. read more

Unfortunately, nothing is very good about this place... This McDonalds is very hard to get to from the interstate. It is hard to even figure out how to get there. You have to get off, turn left at a light, go down to another left, and drive through a big parking lot to get there. It is easy to think the entrance is not the right entrance and wind up having to try and go all the way around again. At late night there were only two people working, and it was s-l-o-w even though we were the only ones there. Not to mention the guy taking orders couldn't even be bothered to greet us or say anything when the transaction was over. read more

The last thing my wife ate was a small portion of a McDonald's kiddy meal from this location on Wed, Jan 3th for lunch. As of today, Jan 6th, she is still recovering from one of the worst cases of food poisoning I've ever seen. A phone call to let the manager know will not go through unless you enter a special access code. I'd bet that she is not the only person to suffer from this food borne illness generated here. That may be why they're not answering their phone. I would advise people to avoid eating anything from this McPetri dish restaurant unless you really need to lose weight, take a few days off work, or can't afford a better weight loss plan. I intend to register this incident with the Sarasota County Health Department as well. read more

Once again McDonald's can't get my order right. First time in line I got someone else order. Second time in line they gave me a medium fry instead of a large fry like I ordered. I guess you can't fix stupid read more

They're trying their best, which I appreciate it. Due to it being the closest McDonald's by my house & highway, I come by often and they're always busy. It looks like they're short staff half of the time but I have lovely conversations with the people either at the drive-thru or front counter. I come to understand that working at a fast food restaurant isn't easy, especially during breakfast and lunch hours, they're trying their best especially with the people. If you come in rude, or you're having a bad day just don't come in. If you're coming just to be difficult, that's probably why everything is extra slow. I've been coming to this McDonald's for years and found that the people are nice, they're just stressed. Shouldn't excuse the service though but we are all human, not machines. read more

Horrible. Food cold. employees were very rude. We walked inside, and they all looked over like we weren't supposed to be here and then didn't take our order for another 10 minutes. What happened to customer service? read more

My mother on Mother's Day wanted to use the bathroom and when she tried to there were a mom and a daughter. The men were at the bathrooms saying it was closed even though it closed at 10:00pm. So the manager came and said the lobby is closed and then they could not use the bathroom I do not recommend this awful McDonald's. read more

Took boys through drive thru no line was nice. Order 4 cheeseburgers only onion and ketchup. Large fries. Get on the road they grab there food and 2 of the cheeseburgers have literally a piece of cheese and the bun. No meat or toppings!!! WTH! What a joke I call talk to manager and I get we had a huge order ahead of yours and short staffed. Wow. No I'm sorry or our mistake let me make it up to you. I call back and ask for corporate number and I get them I'm so sorry I'll get you 2 cheeseburgers next tine your through. Where was that before I asked for corporate? read more

It is filthy and horrible, I do not recommend this place at all I rather not eat, the food is greasy and I found a Pice of plastic in my burger. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Refused to serve us at the window because of "no staff" during business hours and 6 minutes later from the next McDonald's down we circle backs don all of a sudden they are being served wtf read more

Cranky lady at the window, and they forgot my McNuggets. Had to wait 7 minutes just for 4 nuggets! Then they forgot the sauce!!!! And to top it all off.......they didn't even put the pickles or onions on my burger. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. How do you mess up four things on two items?? read more

If there were an option to give no stars I would. I've never been so disgusted with the customer service. I pulled up to the window and couldn't hear the manager clearly and said excuse me. Her response was, "were you gonna pay". Then returns my card without any further words....not a thank you, good morning, enjoy your day, nada. I will not be returning and hope others either do not use this venue or have a much better experience than I did. read more

Stopped in for some French fries and a latte. Very few people were in the drive thru and got in and out quickly. The young man at the window was very nice. Fries were good and the coffee was perfect. read more

Why do you bother being open 24 hours? Fourth time in a row I sat in line for over 15 minutes without moving. I couldn't take it anymore and drove away. By the time I left there were 12 cars in line. I'm done. Never going back. read more

This McDonald's is the worst. We've been here three times and have only had one somewhat decent experience. This is the only 24 hour location in the area. We drove out of our way to go there and when we arrived there was an employee in the parking lot turning people away saying they were actually closed. Today we went there and waited 15 minutes in the drive thru line before even getting to the ordering station. When we got there, I waited another five minutes in dead silence waiting for someone to even greet me. I finally said "hello?" into the microphone and was told to wait another minute...which turned into a few minutes. I tried to use my app to pay and by the time I was actually able to order, the deal had expired in the app and I wasn't even able to use it. I asked the lady at the window if they were short staffed or something because it was taking awhile. She called a manager over and he couldn't give me any reason as to why it was taking so long. No apology or anything. Just extremely poor service with no urgency. This is FAST FOOD! I feel bad for anyone stopping at this exit right off the highway to get food. They won't be getting anything good here. The food I ordered was soggy and cold. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

now if there was a way yo give demerits I will ever have to be apart of hopefully would've come last night and just now. besides this an employee just purposely walked in on me at the shell on 41 naming his reasons on the crazy kids doing and I stopped listening once he practically called himself a "chomo"(child toucher.) Anyways I'm glad I have your attention but lastnight wasn't so much a community problem more of a my problem. I know knowone cares besides me that I sat in line arguing with Hector about getting my code for my 1$ French fries even though he sees it clearly on my phone, the app even let's me order if I would have produced my credit card. Yes I'm not as seasoned on th Mcdonald app, maybe if I were things would've been different but is it me that needs to be seasoned or Hector. Let me find out Hector and those fries had something before I come in and ruin there love affair. well I 4 1will not Stand for it 1st off you have a wife and a side y can't get in here. I'll even ask if you can join. All joking aside, besides my friend getting kicked out because his handicap dog that was my worst experience with mcdonalds. I was heated. Why Hector wouldn't you just nod your head like you understood but you clearly didn't and after I leave make fun of me to the manager while yall fix it and I go on my merry way into a world only I know the customers always right world. April fools. except om serious and if I don't hear anything from this at 9412874027 or flodaboy64@gmail.com i will need to follow the chain of command. BTW knowone would help me out with the net in the chain of command so it's not just Hector there. I believe it's policy if I ask for the next person in line your incline to appease. read more

They're definitely the worst location in my opinion I'm always having to ask for missing items and repeat myself just to make sure they have my order right. Even today they labeled my items correctly but didn't make them the right way. They should really have people who know what they're doing if they care about good service. The service at night is 100x worse. read more

I would give them a zero if I could. The owners of this location clearly don't care. The food is always wrong and weathered, the staff is rude and untrained. I blame corporate for not shutting them down. I have lived next to it for years and it always sucks me in and then disappoints. read more

Crap service have been sitting in line for 30 minutes with only 3 cars in front of me.

They suck. ran my card twice and said it got declined just for me to later find out I got charged double. Then I call them about the situation and get hung up on. Will be reporting this with the receipts of being charged. Definitely don't recommend this McDonald's or any McDonald's in general. read more
