This McDonald's is just north of Sanford on Route 1. Staff was nice, bathrooms clean, nice restaurant. The hamburgers were stale and disappointing. I waited more than five minutes for stale hamburgers--very disappointing. read more

McDonald's - Counter! - Fast Food Near Me - Sanford, North Carolina

You get what you thought you would. Nothing out of the ordinary. Burgers, fries and sodas, etc.

I stopped in here because I was passing through Sanford on my way home. It was around 5:30pm. The drive-thru line was moving very slowly. I ordered a medium coffee, a cheeseburger, and an apple pie. When I got to the first window to pay he didn't give me a receipt. I asked about it and he said they don't keep paper a the window but thye can give me a receipt with my order. When I got my order I asked for a receipt. She said "We don't give receipts". I asked how people are supposed to track their card expenditures and she stated "You should order on the app. we don't give receipts." The burger was as expected, the coffe was hot and tasted like it had been sitting in the pot for quite a while, and the apple pie wasn't even warm (felt like it had just been sitting on the counter). If I could rate this McDonalds with a negative number I would. Worst McDonalds I have ever been to! read more

Avoid stopping at this McDonald's. It is the worst one I have ever been to. I tried to order my food and was forced to order it at a kiosk which aggravated me because I couldn't customize my hamburger the way I usually did when speaking to a cashier. I didn't get a receipt or an order number and was forced to stand in line and hoped they would find me with my order. When they finally found me standing there they were rude and snippy. They practically threw my food at me and forced me to get back in line to ask for a water cup and ketchup. The food was cold and looked very unappealing. Not worth the money and/or aggravation. The new management style at McDonald's is a future of doom. read more

I door dash and Uber in sanford, and I like to get my afternoon coffee at McDonald's. This specific location happened to be closest to me at my break time, the last 3 days. And 3 days in a row, I got cold old nasty coffee!!!! I'm not quite sure why the employees would serve it, or why you would think I want it?? PLEASE MAKE FRESH COFFEE!!! NOT MY FIRST COMPLAINT BTW read more

Our order was incorrect. Was told to get what we wanted we needed to go thru the drive thru again. Horrible customer service.

don't even try ordering they won't have your shit half the time. if you're passing on the highway skip it

Being honest I drive an extra 15 minutes to go to a better McDonald's. This place takes forever. Workers are good, but the service just take forever. read more

No words they have done this multiple times! They never put a full slice of cheese whenever I got a fish filet there. read more

McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Sanford, North Carolina

This has to be one of the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Understaffed and can't get it together. Not very helpful when you ask questions or they just look at you and walk away. If your going to get McDonald's regardless of what anyone says don't say no one warned you. Oh and they also seem to always miss items or don't have the drink or ice cream you want. read more

SO what's up with this place. The person taking my order did not know the menu (how basic is that?) and what the specials were. "I usually do breakfast - I don't know about the lunch menu". As a result of their inability to take orders there was a HUGE line. The "manager" was obviously not concerned. And then the order was wrong....... Jeeze. Train your staff. This is not what I call "fast food" read more

Literally the rudest employee working the drive thru. Sitting in line for 10 minutes already AFTER placing my order. Calling corporate this week. I understand the world is short staffed but to have such RUDE service right off the bat is mind blowing. read more

Service was horrible they need to find a new job it took 30 minutes for 1 sandwich will not be coming here again

Ordered latte via McDonald's app. Waited in store (South Horner Blvd) for over 20 minutes. Finally an employee checked on my order and said the machine had started cleaning and it would be a much longer wait - would I care for something else. I asked for a refund instead. The employee went to get someone else to assist - and then I waited for quite a bit more time. Finally I just decided to leave. read more

Don't have anything to do especially if you go at night because you're gonna be waiting a long time. You might get lucky however and have a few Peking front of you pull off though. When you do get lucky and finally up to make your order all you hear is McDonald's. Nah really McDonald's I thought this was Taco Bell and heaven forbid you say thank you and have a nice night because they just shut the window and walk off. Don't work in customer service if you don't like dealing with people. This place went down big time read more

Worst service EVER employees are so rude and disrespectful!!!! And in my cheeseburger there was a glob of hair and in my drink there was black things in my ice, trying to get me killed or sick! read more

This is the most poorly run McDonalds I've ever encountered. Understandably then, their sanitation ratings are usually low (recently spending an extended period with a B rating). I've recently tried them again, but still they are the worst. If they manage to get you your food, it tastes good. But just this week I observed them scrambling to find a cash register that would work. And this morning I was one of three cars stacked up PAST the drive through waiting for orders to be ready ("would you mind pulling your car over there to wait for your food?). Yes, I did mind. I came here for FAST FOOD, not incompetent management. My wife and children bailed out on all McDonalds when one of them found a bug in their drinks while back at this McDonalds. Perhaps I should have then as well. Such a long history of poor management at this McDonalds. I won't go back to this one. read more

Very good food and service! Stopped for a late night dinner on the way home from work, would recommend

i wish there was a way to leave no stars bc this place sucks. food is great when it's made correctly. but the service and the attitude of the workers. crazy. constantly act like you're a bother for pointing their blatant mistakes. mad at you for them messing up your order. so slow. atmosphere constant beeping not pleasant at all, can't imagine what the workers hear in their head when they go home, can't escape read more

This place is horrible. Even for a drive through that can't get a KIDS HAPPY MEAL CORRECT is a disgrace. I asked for extra fries bc my child is allergic to apples and he isn't a fan of yogurt but he wants chocolate milk. This isn't the first time that I've been through this specific location for a KIDS MEAL. (Telling them not to give me apples!) I just moved here so it's probably the 3rd time I've been here and 2/3 has been horrible. I've gotten apples each time. I will be contacting someone. read more

Just stopped for coffee and snack. I have never seen a McDonalds so dirty and disorganized. The bathrooms not so much.

paid for an expensive dbl quarter pounder meal and instead got a dried up stale broken bun single patty cheeseburger! waste of my money!

The service there is crappy and they dont give you the right change they laugh after they mess up your order and they dont even know what your order was after they give you your change and the service there is slow they have bad costumer service and the people at the window is stupid read more

First of all we already ordered our order and we had to keep on repeating ourselves. I would give this 0 stars but I can't. And I ordered a hamburger and I asked for no onions or pickles and got both. Sidel is the one who did it. I would fire her. Do not go to that McDonald's. And it took them so long to make my order read more

Awful service. Sat in the drive thru, finally got to the speaker and was totally ignored, never spoke to me or answered me. Finally drove around to the window and was still ignored. Finally the guy asked me what I ordered and I told him no one ever helped me. He didn't apologize or anything and just asked me what I wanted. The lady in the second window was so unfriendly. I said hi to her and try to be nice she handed me my drinks and never said hi back or anything welcoming. I will not go here again. So trashy! read more

Order has been wrong 3/4 visits and service is beyond slow . Every time I drive away I wonder why I stopped in the first place. Go somewhere else read more

Worst McDonalds ever! Went in and ordered three bagel meals, nothing special, straight off menu. First they couldnt get the order right, kept putting in things we did not order. Got someone else to ring up order and finally got it right. Watched order number on monitor, after 15 minutes of waiting the number just disappeared! Had to take receipt to them and finally got our order after 21 minutes! Kept telling them we were eating there, but wouldnt listen and bagged it to go. Very unfriendly. My sandwich came out with a big hole poked through paper like someone had poked a finger in it. Restaurant was dirty, wallpaper hanging off wall, food on floors. I actually wanted my husband to just get a refund and go somewhere else. If anyone from McDonalds Corporate reads this, please go check this place out. I dont think you want this representing McDonalds. read more

Found a bone in my Chicken McNuggets and can't bring myself to eat McDonald's ever again. Staff was rude and restaurant was filthy.

WOW! What a train wreck experience I had at this Mikey D's. Restroom was a disgusting mess. I will not go in to details. The dining room had french fries all over the floor. I ordered a hamburger, cheeseburger and 2 small fries and had to wait over 15 minutes. What a disaster this place is. The employees had no urgency in customer service. They could have cared less how long I waited. The manager is a joke. Manage... LOL! Seems to me he may have missed the training class. Once I ordered my food I watched the employees scatter about with absolutely no idea what they were doing. I will not go to this McDonalds again. I could not believe that the people working there could not comprehend how to get food cooked and put in bags and pass it out. SIMPLE! It is sad to see that all of these folks that looked to be 22 or younger are our future. HAHAHA! Ridiculouse. read more

Discovered tonight that the drive thru has a bad of service as the inside. Waited 15 minutes in one lane while the cars in the other lane were taken care of. It obvious that don't hire effective managers. read more

I wish there was a negative star to give this McDonald's. 45 minutes in line at the drive thru is ridiculous. Never Again!!!
