I live in Roscommon. And if it's later than 9pm and you want fast food I suggest you drive to Grayling. Obviously this is a McDonalds so my standards aren't very high but this is next level incompetence. Not only is the "fast food" gonna take 10-15 minutes to get to you but the worker will likely be rude and not care about anything but the meth pipe in the back of moms old ford ranger. I rarely go here for anything but a crisp Diet Coke once in a while but today I really wanted a double cheeseburger so I decided to get two. The food gets to me and I pull it out and both hamburgers are not only minuscule but the buns are hard as a rock. You could play an entire game of baseball with these buns and they probably break the bats before you made an impression on them. Absolutely disgusting and a complete waste of time and money. I live in Roscommon. When I want a drive through hamburger I drive to Grayling to Burger King because there is always something wrong with my order at Mcd's in Roscommon. Despite my attempts to make them get it right and asking questions, unless I'm tearing my burger apart to look before I drive off it is wrong over and over. Today I gave them the chance because I just didn't want to drive to Grayling today. First time in about 2 1/2 years and my quarter pounder combo 2C (deluxe) is supposed to have mayo/lettuce/tomato added to ok it. I saw the correct option on the order screen so I thought it would be right. When they gave me the bad I asked if I had the correct sandwich that had the 1/4 pounder with the lettuce, tomato and mayo added and was assured by the person it was correct after they glanced into the bag. When I got home...to my surprise a 1/4 pounder with mayo added to it. No lettuce, no tomato. Never, never, never ever ever ever EVER again. 2 stars only because as I drove away the fries were super fresh and hot as I munched a couple enroute. read more

I will admit I am not a fan of drive thrus--they almost always take longer than going into the building and getting your order, and with them serving all customers during the pandemic, the time spent sitting in your car is longer and the experience is even less pleasant. Fortunately, this place has continued what for me has always been efficient take out service. The line has never been more than 3-4 cars long and it moves along well. I'm sure it's busier at times, but I suspect the crush here is never as heavy as in larger towns or at outlets closer to the freeway. Back in dine-in days, the wait for food was about average. We didn't see the bad reviews until we had already gotten off the highway, but we gave it a shot because we were hungry and didn't want to wait. Both the person that took our order and the person that handed us our order were quite pleasant. It was the quickest we've gotten through a McDonald's drive through in a long time, probably less than 4 minutes and there were a few cars in front of us. The food was hot, the fries were perfectly done and just the right amount of salt. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. Treat their employees like machines instead of people, and treat customers disrespectfully! Was told the the Supervisor for this McDonald's threw away someone's food in the trash can that they paid for and said that they can go get it. When I worked there I requested a Saturday off to see my little sister run her last race for Cross Country. They said I was good to go and come around Friday of that week I was told I was working Saturday. All I asked was to grant me to see my little sister that looked up to me to watch her run her last race, being I did not make it to see her run some races because I was working at this place! Damn this manager is super fly! She be out here going up and over the top with everything! I remember one time I was ordering and she said, " hold up let me finish my calculus in the back!" What a nice lady! And yet another time I remember her yelling "mayday mayday the friers are down!" And yet again she single handedly put out a fire with her right hand while she was cooking my hash browns with her left hand! She is so dedicated to her job it's amazing! Now let's proceed with the cashier! SHE HAD THE BIGGEST SMILE IVE EVER SEEN! She really brightened up my day! She asked me if that would be all and I said yes and she smiled even more! literally the worst McDonalds I have been around. That was my first job as well. I was hired and did an online test after the testing my trainee did a terrible job and didn't teach me anything as a cashier. They let me switch to a cook two days later and no trainee was working that week. The manager with a B in the first letter in her name was rude telling me to get to work, even know I hadn't been shown what to do by the regular employees the first day. After the first two days of learning, the Manager B. said to come back at the end of the week to get my schedule, I did, and I went there to find out I wasn't on the schedule so she said to come back two weeks later to be put on schedule again. After two weeks stopped in, she said I was terminated for not working good enough. For a first job it made me feel disappointed as if I was a failure as a kid. My next job I learned that they were the ones with problems, not me. Their behavior plus the bad immaturity level of a manager was disheartening! read more

Extremely slow and poorly managed. They never give you your cup unless you ask for it. You could at least drink your pop while you wait for your food. They probably don't do that because you could fill you drink twice before getting your food. They kind of have a fast food monopoly in the area.
