We were on our way from Tampa to South Carolina, and on the way, we stopped for breakfast at McDonald's. McDonald's was next to a gas station, so we didn't have to make another stop. We ordered the Big Breakfast Sandwich with hash browns, hotcakes, a small iced caramel coffee, Egg McMuffin, and a crispy chicken biscuit. Our order came out in 10 minutes. The Egg McMuffin and Crispy Chicken Biscuit were both really good, and the Iced Caramel Coffee was delicious as well. Hotcakes was also great and our toddler also loved the hotcakes as the breakfast. The hash browns were a little disappointing. They were a bit too oily and not cooked very well. But the rest of the breakfast was really good. read more

I could see they are understaffed and service was a little slow but the ladies in there were working hard and it showed. Also, they got my customized order totally correct and everything was good. As far a McD's go, it's not so bad... Though you know you really can't expect much from a McD's attached to a gas station. So with those low expectations, I wasn't disappointed when my order too so long to be made and handed out. (And all I ordered was oatmeal with a large coffee...) Not sure by what magic this was but I just had my best McDonalds food from this location. Stopped for 10 mins at this location on a road trip for a bathroom break and did not leave disappointed. The lobby was what you would expect from a McDonalds connected to a crazy busy gas station but don't let that stop you. This place was soooo BUSY but my food came out surprisingly quick. Not only that--my Big Mac was cooked perfectly, the toppings were evenly placed, and even the bun was softer than normal. I was pleasantly surprised that the fries tasted fresh and most were LONG. None of the leftover tiny fry bits that you would usually see. Not sure if I was just lucky but I left with a bag of fantastic food. Perfect place for a quick bite on a road trip. read more

It is a mystery as to why this place still has its franchise. This is the WORST run McDonald's I have ever been in. I am not a frequent reviewer but I had to share my opinion. The Drive Thru is closed until like 8am every day. That is awful for morning commuters... (huge portion of America) They have not had any Cafe items I other than plain black coffee for 2 months... what kind of place crosses off its whole menu for 2 months??? Terrible The waits are insane, and they only have self-order kiosks open. WORST MCDONALDS EVER. DO NOT COME IF YOU CAN HELP IT. There are 2 other locations in Richmond hill, use those. They have a timer that shows how fast they're serving customers. They constantly defeat this timer, by not serving customers and telling them to park even when they're just ordering french fries at 2:30 in the afternoon this is one of the worst McDonald's I've been to recently, it's poorly run and poorly managed. read more

Yes it's attached to a truck stop but after seeing this place at midnight on a Monday, I'd rather eat in the bathroom of the gas station side. There were no customers when I came but it looked like a (grease) bomb went off everywhere, not to mention tons of visible spills, scattered trash and a lack of stocked condiments/utensils. Approaching the counter, a teenaged boy darted in front of me from the gas station side; he was visibly indecisive and I wanted to shout "It's McD's, you know what they have" despite me not going in over 5 years. Not their fault! What is their fault? None of the other 3 counter employees offered to serve me. When my turn finally came, I decided against food, seeing their slow-pace, and ordered coffee. After the cashier was sure to complain that they too were open 24 hours (the second rating star is out of pity here), she stated the "coffee was fresh!" Wrong! $1.50 and 20 minutes wasted on mud that tasted like it was brewed in 2017. It was undrinkable, which made the 7 remaining hours of drive time all the more challenging. This McDonald's is attached to a Love's Travel Center (gas station and country store). It's located along the I-95 corridor in Georgia, exit 90 (Highway 144). We stopped at this McDonald's on the way back to Atlanta. I was happy to see the Two Cheeseburger meal on the menu here. You don't see that at every McDonald's, so we got one order of that ($4.99) plus a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets meal ($5.99). McDonald's cheeseburgers aren't big to begin with, but these suckers were quite small and flimsy. Maybe I'm just not remembering them correctly. I love the pickles, minced onions, ketchup, and mustard. Simple, yet tasty. I don't believe all McDonald's chicken nuggets are the same, even in Georgia. The chicken nuggets at this location were pale and their shapes deviated from the norm I'm used to seeing at metro Atlanta locations. Regardless of how they looked, they still were crispy and tasted great. We got one BBQ sauce and one sweet and sour sauce for dipping purposes. Despite the busy restaurant, our orders were served in a timely manner. This is an old school McDonald's which hasn't updated its look yet. Finally, a couple random observations: (1) The AC was turned up way too high. We were freezing to death inside! Maybe they share the same AC system as Love's next door. We couldn't wait to go back outside to warm up. (2) Whoever controlled the music left the radio on scan because the station kept changing every 10 seconds or so. It switched from classical to rock to rap to country to Mexican to evangelical sermons and back. read more

Went through the drive through with my mother. We ordered chicken strips and honey mustard. We drove up to hand our money to the cashier and she greeted us politely and as normal we received our food in less than 5 minutes from start to finish. The chicken strips were hot but cool enough to eat and larger than most other chicken strips. Overall this restaurant deserves a B-. The drive through was quick and efficient. Pitfalls this is a truck stop and it can get busy and McDonald's doesn't always have the freshest options. read more

The drive-thru is always closed every time I go there. They don't salt the fries hardly at all, &the last time I went (last night) the fries were old. Their ice cream machine is always "down." Also, the last time I went there I got 2 meals for my aunt &mom, &a drink for me. Since there's no way to reach the business directly to resolve an issue like burnt chicken nuggets and barely fried French fries leaving the buyer with no food to eat after spending $10, a bad review is the only option. This is the grossest McDonald's I have ever been to. There were employees on their phones while touching food. These employees were leaning all over the area where they place food. There was people on the line eating food while making food. The last straw was when one of the employees stuck their hand up their shirt while pulling the fries out of the frier. I have been leaving voicemails on the phone line that the McDonald's corporate line gave me to the owner Edwin Gary Stanberry, with no reply. I was informed when checking my child's bank account that she has been told on multiple occasions by her manager, 'Victor', to log on her phone in order to fill out surveys in McDonald's favor. She does not have data on her cell phone, so she has multiple charges of data purchases in order to utilize the internet to do the surveys. I wanted the owner to know so I reported these actions to him and got no reply. I cannot believe my minor is being used in such a fashion by a manager. read more

We stopped at this McDonald's at at 230 on Friday afternoon. The service wasn't terrible and the food was typical McDonalds, but this place is filthy. There was a wet sticky mess all over the floor in front of the counter and a caution cone sitting by it. It was so bad that your feet stuck to the floor. The drink area was in disarray and napkins and straws needed to be replenished. Tables and the floor in the dining area needed to be wiped and swept, respectively. I'm not a big fan of McDonalds, but there is no excuse for any restaurant to be serving the public in those conditions. read more

Traveling from Florida to New Jersey we stopped here for lunch. After leaving and traveling to North Carolina, stopping for dinner, we realized my wife left her purse at this McDonalds. We called and night manager Maddy Jones said another worker there had found the purse and Maddy put it in the safe. Next day Maddy sent the purse to us in New Jersey. Many Thanks to Maddy and the worker who found it. Maddy and the staff there saved our day. Its so nice to find such honesty and professionalism. read more

I understand this McDonald's is attached to a gas station hence you can't expect much but I had the worst experience ever at McDonald's. First, I would have never gone there if the app didn't automatically located this one as the closest one to my current location and I only realized that when it was too late to cancel. Ordered curbside. After 15 min waiting in the car nobody showed up and I had to get out- lengthy process with two small kids, that's why I ordered take out (how they call it). At that time I counted 11 cars waiting in line and one pulled up to the curb. Went inside to see my food just sitting there. Ready. I waited 5 more minutes before I could even talk to anyone. The place was full. There were 8-9 workers just running around aimlessly. Finally I got the attention of one person. Asked if I can finally get my order that was btw still sitting there with nobody attempting to take it outside. The order was missing the milk for the kids meal and the small fries. After waiting so long I was just tired and asked for the milk but had no desire to wait around any longer. At home I realized that I was given an extra burger, supposedly with extra bacon, with no bacon at all. My burger with no onions, had onions. The cheese was burned and the whole thing was nasty and sloppy- a new burger mind you, expensive one too! The medium fries were half empty and my daughter's McDouble had pickles, even though on top, yet again, said- no pickles. The whole experience was miserable, from the wait, to the need to go inside, to the nasty food. Never again! Avoid at all cost. There are two more McDonald's restaurants in Richmond Hill and plenty other options better than this DUMP. read more
