Keep driving thru, a car in front keep using the horn to bring attention. 20 minutes and the car in front still there. To make it short, I did have waited 30 min for my order. This McDonalds is very annoying. We literally waiting in the drive thru for 25 minutes only to pull around and see a lit up restaurant with no one inside of it. This isnt the first time that this has happen also. It has happen also on atleast 4 other occasions. Its very annoying when you travel 25 minutes to get here when it says open only to find out its closed. Then sometimes I come there and they are only doing Doordash/Ubereats orders. Went to this location last night and it was quite possibly the worst service I've ever received. The manager was on the phone the entire time throughout the ordering process (literally having a conversation while I was ordering my food) and texting while at the payment window. I had to repeat my order 3 times because she would ask for my order, forget her mic was on, and then proceed to start talking on the phone again completely cutting me off after telling me to order. It was literally so confusing I wasn't sure if she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I essentially was ordering from someone who hated their job, didn't want to be there, and was preoccupied with their cell phone throughout the entire interaction. I just moved in right down the road so I hope this is not a sign of what's to come when my back is against the wall and I have nothing else to eat but McDonalds. read more

This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever encountered in the whole RVA.Everytime I go this dump it's always a bad humiliating experience. Zero star if i could put it! Manager pls see your staff performance! Staffs are not friendly, responsible, and pay attention to your order. I ordered Medium Ice Coffee at the drive-thru. They made me hot coffee. So when i told her at the pick up window that my order is-Ice Coffee not Hot coffee. She made me the ice coffee (without saying sorry) and you know how she made it? She pour that hot coffee into the ice cup with some ice in that cup. That's horrible, so my ice coffee is just a warm coffee not a real ice coffee because the ice melt in 2 seconds. I pull my car over and bring that coffee back into the store, another staff asked me what's wrong. I told her what happened, so she took that coffee from me in order to make me a new one (but not new). She didnt say sorry either. And a few seconds later, she gave me that cup of ice coffee again. Of course, this time it is a real ice-coffee, i mean cold. But my coffee is plain like water, water i swear. You know why, because she handed me the same cup by just pouring out some coffee and add more ice to make it really cold. Shit!!!!!!! I was mad. What can I say that hasn't already been reviewed about this particular McDonald's location...? I only stop at this location because it's literally the ONLY fast food drive through in Churchill. Otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here because they're usually pretty slow and the service is always hit or miss. Management at this McDonald's location REALLY needs some work. I've been here two times so far, and each time was a bad experience. Food tastes like it would at any other McDonald's, but the wait time is unrealistic. Even when no one was at the drive-thru line this morning, I waited way longer than I would normally for my breakfast order. This is hands down the worst run McDonald's in all of these United States of America. All I ever get from this place is coffee. I have been here twice. The first time I was stuck in the drive thru for 30 minutes. And that's mot an exaggeration. They didn't have straws! I've never heard of such a thing but I confirmed. The second time in order to avoid the long drive thru I went in. There was barely a person at the front counter. The woman that took my order couldn't conceive of the idea that I wanted my coffee black, meaning without sugar. She also didn't know which cup was large as she gave me a medium and finally it still took forever. Avoid unless you really have to. This is the only MCD near where I live, and it is widely sub-par "Lobby Closes at 11pm"; in actuality is arbitrarily anywhere from 10 to 11pm. Order is wrong more than 50% of the time (Example, ordered a plain burger with the veggies and no sauce, received a burger with some veggies, missing onion, and with mustard & ketchup...thank heavens I don't have any food allergies There are always some...let's call them "Urban Backpackers" hanging out around the premises. -----HOWEVER----- Staff is typically pretty friendly, but don't come 2 mins before closing time and expect VIP treatment. Food typically comes fast **if you go inside** as there is little line if any. The drive through is open til the wee-morning (2am?), if I remember correctly; it'll be open when everything else in RVA closes at 9:30. They will serve motorcycles through the drive through. This is without a doubt the worst McDonalds in town. They are constantly out of things. Like.....Burgers. McDonalds out of burgers? What the....? They have also verbally assaulted me for asking why a 24 hours drive thru is closed. (Which happens almost every night) Verbally assaulted with such terms as "cracker b*tch" and "rich a** white girl". Oh good fast food gods, I don't know what the heck happened between my last review and now. Before I had no huge complaints, but since then I have stopped by twice, once for a drink and another time for some nuggets to eat on the way to an appointment during a long day (can that be an excuse, please?... please?!) Ordering a drink, I asked for no ice, clearly and specifically. Mainly because I don't drink fast enough when I'm driving and the ice ends up melting and making my car as well as whatever I'm trying to enjoy a watery mess. But after an overly long wait behind the car in front of me, I ended up with a ton of ice and no time to complain or try and change it. And yes, my drink did get watered down shortly after. Another time I ordered a four piece nugget. Four piece. And I ended up in line waiting for over ten minutes. There was one person in front of me, who ended up receiving a drink and a small bag, so the order could not have been that crazy. I played a couple rounds of Draw Something on my phone, checked Yelp, and Facebook before my car actually moved. And the food I received wasn't hot or fresh, so I have no idea what they were doing. I give this McDonald's two stars because they are consistently friendly during my transactions. However, I feel that by not offering the $1 menu after "about 10:30 PM most days" they are actually guilty of false advertising. After asking the manager about this, he explained that after a certain point at night, they put their meat back in the freezer until the next day and didn't have enough stock to continue selling the $1 menu. This makes absolutely no sense and if this is the case, then they need to go cover the $1 menu outside so that hungry consumers will not be confused! They just don't seem to care. They know that they give substandard service but they don't do anything about it. I imagine the rollover at this place is very high. Management needs to take a hard look at itself. On one occasion, when I brought a mistake in my order up to the counter, I got an explanation that put more of the responsibility on me for how I verbalized my order. Other people who were dining in the seats chimed in on the situation as well, making it a racist situation.
