Oct 25 Service was ehh, took almost 30 mins to get my food. Staff wasnt rude but they were definitely not friendly. one of my orders, a McChicken sandwhich must of had 1/2 a jar of mayo on it. This is the slowest McDonalds in all of America. Inside and outside. I'm not sure if they are in there partying in the back and dancing with the McGriddles but if you don't have a spare 39 hours and 45 mins to wait to get your food don't come here. The food is like any other McDonald's you get what you pay for so it was fair. I got a McGriddle and hash brown pretty hard to mess that up since they were in the back dancing with them instead of pushing the line. Fast food I think not. Glad my usual rest stop was available. Frequently travel from the DC area to Hampton Roads, and this Golden Arches is often my breakfast or lunch spot. It's on 64 close to 295, the Richmond Beltway, and getting to 95 where the real trek is. Driving this route can be tiring, and it's best to have good reflexes. Todays cheeseburger meal, and the caffeine in the soda helped. Have always had good service here inside. The drive thru is a mixed bag. Then again McDonald's is like that internationally. This is a clean location. If you're in the area it's a good place to rest a few. Driving this route requires your attention, so this could be helpful on that. read more

If you've read my reviews then you already know how I feel about McDonald's in general. However, it is still a fan favorite amongst the kids, specifically my boys. We are headed to Richmond and made a stop for gas and everyone wanted something different to eat. The boys wanted McDonald's. This is a very large McDonald's very clean parking lot. The person operating the drive-through was super friendly and very nice. However when my husband pulled up to pay we realized that they did not type in the order correctly. My oldest son ordered a 20 piece, large fry and a sweet tea. My youngest son ordered a six piece w/fries and sweet tea. When we pulled up to pay we realized they only rang up one 10 piece and one six piece so we had to add another 10 piece. The total of the order was $20.11. My oldest son seems to think that those prices were a little bit higher than what we typically would pay in our local area. However I cannot 100% percent confirm that, at this time as I don't frequent McDonald's. As we received our order my youngest son proceeds to open his six piece nugget and had an immediate response of "they did me dirty". Apparently they had given him 4 chicken nuggets as opposed to six. And my oldest son is in the back complaining that his frie lacked salt, in his opinion they had no salt at all. I'm adding this review just to show that I have yet to go to any McDonald's where my order, the service, and everything else in general is above average. However, my children have to learn on their own to stop frequenting businesses that just can't seem to get it right. read more

Here on vacation and stopped by this McDonald 1412 ordered via the app in store. There was no paper to get my order number. There was no one at the register, I finally got a person attention and asked for a manager and the person I asked stated she was a manager then walked by me without assisting after 4 times of waking by me I asked her can you please assist me ? She Gomes over to help me and rings up my order and walks away, I told her excuse me my dad needs to pay for his also... and 4 additional people behind me. This same female manager with dirty blonde hair and tattoos all over her ( she would not provide her name) continued to walk by us without assisting. I was able to flag down another employee nice. Young gentleman who advised he aaa also a manger to get my money back we had been there in the store for 30 minutes already! This is absolutely Horrible! Waited in the drive through after ordering at 7:51pm after paying went to the next window while we sat there for 16 minutes waiting for our food. My order was double cheese burger no onions, which was on the clearly marked on the special order that was taped to the burger. Before we pulled off I look and full onions. Service is absolutely horrible. I'm from the NY area, I've seen some bad service. I waited in one drive thru line as someone in the next line was ordering. After that person was done, nobody addressed me to take my order, so I waited. A few minutes later, another car pulled up to the other line and was immediately addressed. Thinking that my lane wasn't working, I pulled up to the window. The woman at the window had the order for the other person and when I said that wasn't mine, I needed to order, she rolled her eyes and told me she's busy, I have to wait and slammed the window shut. She was an obese woman with a West Indian accent. I got back on the road and drove several miles to the next. I know good help is hard to find, but employers need to have some type of standard. That woman isn't cut out for any type of direct contact with customers, put her on fries. read more

The morning service is great and the staff is very friendly , the evening service however isn't as great . Food is often wrong and it takes a long time to get the food , the " managers" seem to be more concerned with socializing than customer service and they aren't very polite . On June 3, 2021, I purchased a cheeseburger, french fries and chocolate shake. It was late afternoon between lunch and dinner. I ate 1/3 of the burger, a few fries and the shake. Approx. 9 pm, I experienced sharp stabbing pains in my stomach at the bottom of my rib cage. Following the pain, there was violent projectile vomiting. This scenario continued for approx. 6 hrs. I am a 63 yr old widow that lives alone with no one to call on to help me. Although this experience was very painful and frightening, I am so very sad that this has destroyed one of my favorite things to do. DO NOT GO TO THIS McDonalds!!! We waited in the drive through for an unnecessary amount of time. When we finally were able pay and get our foods the fries were cold, the straws were missing and the requested sauces were missing. We were on the road trying to get back home and so we needed to go an could not bring the items to the crew's attention. This is unacceptable for a McDonalds so close to a major highway. Nice stop right off the interstate. We were towing a travel trailer and looking for a stop for lunch. The lobby was open for takeout. There were plenty of spots along the side to park and the parking lot looped around so it was easy in and easy out. Even at the height of lunch, the service was fast and the staff was friendly. Disgusting! not just a few pieces of toilet paper on the ground but toilets that have not been cleaned in weeks. the sinks were filthy and dirty toilet paper everywhere. put in my order and informed them of dirty restroom and was told "cleaning the restroom was not in her contract"! There was no one in line except me. I am in the car with just myself and my 3yr old. When I got to the pickup window a red head girl asked me to pull around to the other side of the building. I asked why and pointed out there was no one in line and she said "we have to keep our time down" I reminded her that timer is for service quality metrics. She said they were "already outside with my food". They were not, I could see my food on the counter. It wasn't someone else's because, again I was the only one there. It was a brown bag and a happy meal staged right where they put the drive thru food. She closed the window and walked away so I pulled around.
