I've given this location multiple chances because it's the closest McDonald's to me, but unfortunately I've had to go back inside more times than I can count because items were missing from my order. It's frustrating to get home or pull away only to realize food has been forgotten, especially after paying for it. The staff has always been polite when fixing the mistake, but it has become a recurring issue. I hope management can focus on improving order accuracy before orders leave the restaurant. A quick double-check of each bag would make a huge difference and create a much better experience for customers. read more

I placed a mobile order for a single meal and arrived about 15 minutes later. Despite the simplicity of the order, no one responded over the intercom. I pulled up to the first window and knocked, then tried calling the store with no answer. I eventually moved to the second window, where I waited another 10 minutes before an older woman appeared. She didn't say a word--just stared at me awkwardly. I gave her my order number, and she shut the window without acknowledging me. Ten more minutes passed before she returned with my food. Total time in the drive-thru: 56 minutes. What made it worse? I could clearly see several headsets sitting unused on the counter, yet the woman at the window wasn't wearing one. It was late at night, and unfortunately I had no alternative for food, but this was the worst fast food experience I've ever had. And the sundae cup was filled up like halfway with about a tablespoon of hot fudge on top. Way better than the Ephrata McDonald's. Give it some rest Karens. It's teenagers that practically run this business. So don't get mad if they forget to say good morning or forget to give you a straw. The one in Ephrata has terrible service though compared to Quincy. In Ephrata EVERY TIME- you'll sit there on average of 15-30 minutes. Quincy you will be there for 10 minutes or less (mostly less). I stopped at the Quincy location on 10/30/2020. It was around 2 pm. The service was awful. The guy taking orders in the drive thru was extremely rude. He never said hello and never gave us a total. The night crew and the morning crew are excellent. Morning knows how to keep the line movin. Great customer service, great food quality, grab n go. Night crew is the same. Usually no line at night. Day time crew 12pm-6pm. I understand lunch time is probably the busiest time any food business has. In my opinion, that shouldn't matter. I've visited around lunch time on consecutive days, and both days were the same. Did the same thing the next week. Consecutive days, both days the same. Customer service isn't the issue in my opinion. I believe it's just lack of care for preparation of food. Fix that, and you'll have my 5 star. read more

I try to avoid this place at all costs. I can't count the times I have went there to get something from the drive thru, and there was a sign posted that said "cash only." Really??? And if I happen to toss the dice just right and they are accepting cards, what ever I want to order is not available. IE: Coffee at 05:00 AM, Orange juice at 07:30 AM, Ice cream at 9:00 PM etc. And like many other reviewers here, I have been there multiple times when there was a sign stating that the drive thru was closed. I've not experienced the rudeness others have mentioned, but it doesn't surprise me, because they probably have had to deal with a lot of angry customers because of what I have mentioned above. read more

This 24 hour drive-thru has been closed half the time I go there for breakfast around 4 am weekdays. They say "we are closed for 20 minutes" or "they are closed for maintenance" also they only accept cash in the early a.m.??? The morning guy is RUDE and gets mad when HE makes the order incorrect. They often forget to put the egg on my sausage egg mcmuffin and believe me if there were any other place to get breakfast in Quincy early In the a.m. I would go there. read more

As of 2021, if you're going to get the ten piece mcnugget, they do not disappoint. The texture is just right, not soggy and not dried out. I dont think I've ever had mcnuggets this good. The service wasn't bad, and the drive-thru line was fast. Definitly will be going back. read more

I was impressed with the speed, service, and smiles at this unexpected twist in my personal eatery entourage! Yes, every employee was happy to go out of their way to make sure i was taken care of. Are you shocked? Good there's more to talk about. Yes, they had a positive work ethic, and you see a genuine expression in their work; they came to work wanting to partcipate. Yes, it is a high traffic location, but the staff are faster at getting orders processed, even compared to that out-of-place contraption in the corner, that is somehow supposed to be a trusted source of speed and reliable data entry. (Not implying it's made alongside Diebold electoral machines, I digress). Food for a McDonald's tasted above bar, the manager must sense some pride, and dedication. I would hope he communicates this, it's rare at all I review a McDonald's, but it needed to be said from an out of town critic. read more

Here we are one year later. The fish sandwich was dinky for the price and the fries were sandblasted with salt. The day after Christmas and the drive thru was an amazingly long wait. This may be the only choice or wait, drive a block toward Stevens Pass and there's a burger joint on the right that surely has better deals. Next year, the mom and pop business nearby is getting some new customers. Ronald McDonald may get sore hands trying to make meager portions stretch to look bigger. I wonder if I told them a dollar bill was really a five they'd take it. They sure don't seem to mind shrinkage in what they hand ovet. read more

I brought my soccer team here for lunch and the service was bad. Order taker didn't take my order correctly and then they didn't make my sandwich right either. When I took it back, they said it would take a couple of minutes to get me the new one. I ended up waiting over 10 minutes before I went to ask about the sandwich only to find out they had forgotten about it so I had to wait for a few more minutes. And then to my surprise, they made my second sandwich incorrectly again. In addition to my issue, some of my players experience wait times close to 10 minutes. Out again looking at property for a client in the farmlands of Grant County. I was just looking for a bathroom and there it was, the "golden arches." I ordered a wild berry smoothie. It comes straight from a machine like everything at every McDonald's. Despite the dated architecture (by McDonald's standards) this was a very clean place and I sensed a great amount of pride here in the way the place was run and maintained. That's what sets this McDonald's apart from the others and warrants a four star rating. read more

Like most people I also try to avoid this place at ALL cost! If you are in a hurry, it may be faster to break out the charcoal grill, light some coals, wait for them to get white hot, season your food, place it on the grill, cook it to temp, remove the food and dig in. I have absolutely had it with this McDonald's. The can't get a single order right. Today at lunch, order 2 bacon Mcdoubles minus pickle and onion. They first tried to give me two cheeseburgers. I repeatedly my order and the gave me two cheeseburgers add bacon. They then have me my total and wouldn't let me correct it. When I got up to the window I told them again what I wanted. The girl finally got it right and I paid. As I'm driving down the road I took a bite only to find extra pickles and onions. Tonight I ordered a buttermilk chicken sandwich. I'm not sure what I got but there was no sauce on the bun and no crispy on the chicken. Thought maybe it was a grilled something but there was a red sauce or something on it. I'm so fed up with this McDonalds I just threw my meal away. I'm so glad there is a new restaurant opening up in Quincy next month. In the mean time I recommend Conaco.
