    Eggs and bacon meal
    Toni T.

On a road trip and came here because of the 4 star review and reviewing other restaurants along the way. This is not a 4 star quality place. You order at the counter, tip is asked for when you pay, not after service (unless you decline and pay cash). We were given paper cups and told to help ourselves to the water. Served on paper plates and plastic forks we on the table. No other utensils offered. Bacon was underdone, but everything else was ok. Nothing great, just tasted like something you cook at home. However, huge amount of grease left on plate. I only finished my meal because it wasn't the worst, was edible, and I payed $12 for it. My son said his biscuit and gravy was ok and my dad said his bacon omelet was the worst he's ever had (whole strips of undercooked and uncut bacon). I would not go here again.

    Scalehouse from the outside

This place may not look like much from the outside, (in fact you can't even really tell this is the place from the outside). The food however is exceptional. The chicken fried steak was hand breaded cube steak on top of a creamy sausage gravy with big chunks of sausage. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns had a great crispness on the outside and firm in the middle. The pancakes where buttery and light. The service was pleasant and quick and the price was very reasonable. All in all I will stop here again if I'm on the 90.

When she brought out the dish, there were two large ones on it because they're normally larger (!) and she wanted us to have the equivalent. It was hot and delicious and between the three of us, we polished off 2/3 of it right away. I ordered the veggie pesto hash. Soooo yummy. I ordered mine without zucchini because it's just not a breakfast veggie to me lol. I did not notice or taste any pesto in the dish but the hollandaise was excellent on top. I tried their gravy to determine what bread I wanted (biscuit was an option) and it was so good. I'm such a gravy snob and this was quite flavorful with a creamy texture. I could barely finish my hash so I didn't touch the biscuit and gravy but our daughter will have it for leftovers this week. Randy ordered the pig and vine bene with hash browns. The bacon on his was crumbles instead of actual pieces of bacon so that was disappointing and he said the hash browns were cooked inconsistently with some of it being overcooked and all of it lacking flavor. Corina ordered the three meat hash and liked it a lot. She could only eat half - the portions are large - so more leftovers for her. This is a super cute place with indoor seating and what looked like a covered patio dining area. We will definitely be back.

Location is perfect, far enough off the freeway that I hope they don't get picked over by the crazy gorge groups from concerts, but perfectly nestled on the main strip in Kittitas. Indoor and outdoor (temperature controlled and covered) seating. Super clean inside with perfect music for breakfast and lunch vibes. Service is super friendly, staff seems genuinely happy to be on their team. Also quick getting our food and espressos. The food is phenomenal, I got the winter goddess special - think ciabatta bread, fresh hot and flavorful turkey with crispy lettuce and garlic aioli. This should be a standard on their menu, so delicious!!!! Excellent job KC, will be back for more thank you!!

The pizza was outstanding--perfectly blistered crust, generous toppings, and an incredible balance of flavors. The combination of savory toppings, house smoked pulled pork, bourbon BBQ sauce, pickled red onion and fresh pineapple created a unique sweet-and-tangy bite that worked surprisingly well. Every slice was loaded and cooked to perfection. The whiskey selection was equally impressive and the wine is always lovely. Whether you're a casual whiskey drinker or a true enthusiast, the bar offers plenty of options to explore. Pairing a great pour with exceptional food while enjoying a wonder view always makes for an unforgettable meal! We finished with dessert, and it absolutely delivered.
