Nor is the state covered under the famous and most respected Michelin's Guide system. Face it, this state is not known for its food. Moses Lake is the anomaly to all this. Micheal's by the Lake is the surprisingly upstart. This is a much needed relief. The oasis in this culinary desert. We came as a large group to celebrate my in-law's birthday. They sat us down in a privet dinning room in the back. Most places you would think we would of been ignored and forgotten by the staff. At Michael's by the Lake we pretty much had our own wait staff. They were very friendly and attentive. The food was exquisite! Everything was done perfectly. Especially the mozzarella sticks. All in all, my family have nothing bad to say. She took one bite and immediately spit it out. Her salmon was completely raw. It is advertised on the board as smoked salmon! She will not eat raw salmon.
