This is the worst McDonalds I've ever had in my 35 years on this planet. What should have been A simple mobile order has made me spend my precious Friday night writing this review. Spent 15 minutes in the drive thru, All staff at each window read my order wrong. Pickup window I made them reread it to me cause this happens all the time at this location. Reread it wrong, I read my order back to them, they confirmed my order was correct. Thank god I asked for the receipt. Get home, and it's all wrong. I try submitting a complaint, app says to contact store. I contact the store but The number on my receipt connects me to a fax dial tone (480 987 5551) can't speak to a real person. I try submitting a complaint on their website but page can't be found?? A chimp could run this store better than whoever is managing the store, they ought to be fired. Mcchicken arrived plain, I didn't ask for that. Asked for light mayo. Got a McDouble meal and was given a cheeseburger instead of the McDouble I ordered. All food devastatingly cold and old/stale. Nugget sauce no where to be found. Soda stale and non carbonated. Cheeseburger combo meal came with no onions, didn't ask for that either. No condiments offered or provided. I placed a mobile order at 10:25 and proceeded to wait in line for 10 minutes before being told I won't be receiving my meal. Meal was paid for through the app. Was told that I could receive two hash browns, but not my order because breakfast was no longer being served, so I appreciate the leftover hash browns. 'Most' of the time my order is correct. BUT there have been a few times now I have ordered a large fry and received pretty much a medium-sized amount (see pic). And for the record; No, I did not eat any of the fries before taking the picture -that really is what they gave me. Another thing; depending on what you order some items have been under cooked a few times now too. All I can say is, check your food folks! Really, all fast food places are hit and miss most of the time anymore. Unacceptable for food safety reasons, but even more unacceptable given the price increases to knowingly cut portions (and I'm sure the workers are not making any less -they just don't care) and now lower quality but then, this is the new ethic under 'build back better' - to hire apathetic and lazy workers and be happy with less. And to the dissatisfied customer -how dare you complain? But then, what else should we expect in a decaying society? Want breakfast and waited in the drive thru ten minutes already? Be prepared to park and wait fifteen more while you watch people who ordered their food after you, leave before you. One time it was longer than that and I just left. One time I received someone else's order (or extra food -not sure). Clearly there is a problem at this location with consistency concerning the drive thru but according to other reviews it isn't just with the drive thru. Like I said, it's not every time, but even twice is too much. At least McDonalds does get it right sometimes whereas Burger King a mile further away, never gets it right and you certainly will not have it your way. Oh and the ambiance? Not much to say as I usually don't go inside. Brown and beige like the rest of Arizona. Not sure if they are trying to model it after the McCafe but I certainly wouldn't call it a bistro. Hard metal and plastic seats. Ronald would be pleased but then his butt is padded from a clown suit and he smiles regardless while your child can play one of two video games as there is no play area but then this is common in most McDonalds' anymore. Two stars is fair since I have had a few bad experiences now, thus I removed a star for each time I've had a bad experience which isn't often as McDonalds is not usually my first choice unless it's later at night. You can try using a deal from their app to save some money, but they "forget" a few items anyway so they end up robbing you when all is said and done. Last week the drive thru "lost" my order by the time I got to the window to pay, then wouldn't take my correct order. I ended up driving off in frustration after paying for a random breakfast burrito I never ordered or even got. I think they're still trying to figure out where that breakfast burrito came from. The ice cream machine is never working , the food is always delayed , and the place is never very clean. Update : next morning . Go to the counter order a "#2 with orange juice" ... pick up my order when it's called and it's missing hash brown . I ask the manager if I can get my missing hash brown and she tells me that the guy must have miss understood because it wasn't ordered as a meal .
