We had a total of 9 of us on a Friday afternoon and got a table right away. I had the Cheeseburger. They waitress said if it's your first time here, you must try a burger. She wasn't kidding. This was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. The table shared the boneless wings and they had plenty of meat, and plenty of flavor. The ribs had a little more "campfire vibes" than expected, and the pulled pork must've been feeling a bit shy because it came out cold. Luckily, the brisket and sausage stepped up -- my husband gave them two thumbs up (and he's picky, so that's saying something). The beans were simple, nothing fancy, but they did the trick. Was it the five-star experience I dreamed of? Not quite. But sometimes the best memories come from the unexpected stops -- and at least we left with full bellies and a funny story!
