Staff was friendly, coffee was delicious, with lots of options on the menu ranging from lattes, smoothies, boba, bagels, breakfast wraps and more! Small selection of indoor seating and street parking available. Nice, chill environment

Spotlessly clean including the restroom. Welcoming service. Great coffee. Some breakfast and pastry offerings that looked good. They had both Lavender and Coconut syrup for my latte which was awesome!

a beautiful coffee shop in such a nice town. I had the witches brew and it beats any coffee shop I've ever been to.

This coffee joint is located in the town of Fayetteville and serves sweet cocktails full of espresso. If you love your coffee strong and/or sweet this is the place for you. The staff is warm at welcome and tentative to modifying your drink to better fit your liking. Price is economical. Cute towny interior. And just a small cozy spot to catch up with friends!

Wandered into this place. It was such a nice surprise. The decor is cozy and warm. Clean and inviting. The counter attendant was pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the drink that I ordered. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or a coffee. You'll be glad you went. #OhMomGod #ColeyLovesYou #MomInShaman #SupportSmall #SupportADream #VoteWithYourDollar

Quintessential small town coffee shop. Quality drinks, friendly, efficient service, limited food offerings with a few booths and chairs for relaxing with your drink. They're not open Sundays, so make other coffee plans for the sabbath.

We're visiting family in town and missing Starbucks and our local coffee shops back home so I was excited to spot this shop.

Their menu has sandwiches, pizza, and coffee drinks. I intended to eat lunch because I was hungry. It was around 1:30 in the afternoon on a Monday and there was absolutely no one in there. An employee came out from the back after a minute or two, but the eerily empty environment and somewhat odd smell in the space dissuaded me from actually ordering a meal. Instead, I wound up ordering a small iced white chocolate mocha to go. It was pricy for a small iced coffee -- over $6. The employee went to the back to fix it for me. It took a few minutes but nothing unreasonable. She brought it back out to me in a cup that looked like a hot latte cup, but it was fortunately made correctly and iced. Overall, it was...fine. Not super creamy, pretty thin and almost watery instead of milky consistency. Decent white chocolate flavor but not a ton of coffee flavor. For the price, I probably wouldn't get it again, but it was serviceable. I dunno, I feel like I'm maybe being a little unfair because of my overall poor experience in town, but given the one thing I tried was resoundingly average, I guess I stick by my 3 star rating. Hoping for a more successful venture the next time I return to town.

I wasn't disappointed! This is a smaller, older looking restaurant. They were busy even for a late lunch around 2 PM. There's not a ton of parking and some of it is on an incline, but it worked out okay for me. Inside there are about 6-7 small tables and a spot to order at the counter. The menu consists of classic American fast food options, like burgers, chicken tenders, and fries. It reminds me a little bit of a drive-in spot just because it is so nostalgic-feeling. The service was spot-on and so nice. The ladies working were beyond pleasant and helpful and many seemed to know the local customers quite well. My food came out quickly and was nice and hot. I ordered a bacon hamburger and a side of fries. Portion sizes here are pretty reasonable and appropriate for the lower price, though if you come with a big appetite I would recommend getting a double or something. Fortunately, I didn't need a huge meal that late in the day, so I was happy with my order. The burger was cooked nicely, the bun was soft, and the bacon was flavorful and crispy if not particularly thick-cut. The fries had a lot of gooey-hot potatoey insides and went well dipped in ketchup. Simple, fast, and tasty food here! I'd recommend and would visit again if I find myself back in the area.

After my experience, I think the statements are a bit exaggerated, although I do give it high marks. The name Grindstone cowboy is a nice play on words. First, they are a coffeeshop with a bar and deli type items, so grindstone fits well with the title. Grindstone Cowboy is a nice play on Rhinestone Cowboy, the song by Glen Campbell in the 1970s. The western feel of the restaurant complements the name. There is also a vintage store attached to the restaurant/bar for those who happen to like a little shopping with their meal. I had the BLT and she had the chicken salad sandwich. I will say I am not a huge fan of chicken salad, but I could eat this one (would not be tops on my list, but I could do it). The BLT was very nice. I added avocado and don't regret that decision. I thought the bread and bacon choice was on point. A heirloom tomato would have popped this up another notch. Overall, enjoyed it. I do feel the pricing is a bit high for a small town diner. Perhaps it is as popular as the social media post suggested? I did pay in cash to avoid the 4% credit card fee. Would I return? I would not go out of my way to get back here, but if I was passing through, I would certainly consider another go if I was in the mood for a sandwich.
