STOP FORGETTING THE SAUCES!! This is obviously one of my kids' favorite places to order from. The McDonald's app uses Uber eats. We ordered four orders of the new chicken tenders and we got zero sauces! How unenjoyable to not be able to dip the strip! I'm over here eating McDonald's with some old BK zesty sauce packet I found in the back of the fridge. What a ruined experience. My son is using taco sauce, wow. I asked Uber eats for support and they told me to call McDonalds. It rang and rang. I just wanted to give them feedback that their system to get sauce in the bag is lacking. This happened before but with a DoorDash order and but DoorDash was at least helpful and refunded about 0.25 a sauce that came with the meal. Uber Eats doesn't. I'm writing this review as an independent contractor that delivers food. I walked into this store today and there was a girl cleaning the door so she held it open for me. She also asked how she could help. I explained I was there to pick up an order for Delivery, but I needed to use the restroom first. When I came out the order was on the counter but the manager was also waiting for me. He berated me about meeting timetables. I asked when was I supposed to use the restroom? He said before you get here. I asked where can I use one? He didn't really have an answer other than not while I'm delivering for that McDonald's. I replied with "respectfully sir, I don't work for you." He said, actually you do, while you are taking orders from here. Just for reference, the order wasn't late. I just had lunch at this McDonald's for the first time. The food was like at any other McDonald's, but the service was unusually excellent. I've never seen anything like this at a McDonald's. When I walked in, a woman named Laurie (not sure if I'm spelling this correctly) greeted me then she took my order and later brought it to the table. That's fairly normal. But then she came back later to ask if everything was OK and after I finished eating, she asked if she could clear the table for me. Finally, on my way out she opened the door for me and thanked me for coming in. I asked her if she was the manager and she said she wasn't. He rings a bell and says the manager will come take my order. We wait a minute or so and he's done so he takes my order and card and goes in. Manager brings my order out a couple minutes later. I overheard the manager thanking one of his employees for working past his shift (it snowed last night so the roads were not good this am) and telling another employee that he did a great job. I admit it. I like McDonalds. I like their business model. I like their process and technology. I have become accustom to some of their food even though I know it is shortening my life. I have gone to McDonalds all over the US, Canada and western Europe. If I were corporate McDonalds, I would use this store as an example of getting it right. I would make other franchisees go here for follow up/remedial training. Especially the Gig Harbor store on Borgen (ISHDA! - Urban Dictionary version!)) As McDonalds stores go, this is a very well run place. I typically use the drive thru so I cannot speak to the interior other than they have clearly remodeled it. The teams is ALWAYS fast, ACCURATE, polite and friendly. The food is consistent with the McDonalds brand promise for better or worse from a dietary perspective! ;o) I typically stop here on the way to my boat as it is very conveniently located off the Sedgwick exit on Highway 16 on Port Orchard. read more

My wife and I stopped in here for a quick lunch. They have one of those kiosks from which to order, and it was reasonably easy to use. The food was brought to our table promptly. We just had cheeseburgers and fries which were up to McDonald's standards and were freshly made. The place was clean and there was ample parking. All in all a good McDonald's experience. read more

Placed an order on postmates, paid $30 for 1 happy meal because I wanted to try the Szechuan sauce and wanted it delivered. it gets here and they put sweet and sour instead of Szechuan. I call to ask if they were out, they said no but it's almost out and then HUNG up on me because they said I was "too quiet" as I was explaining the problem. So I drive down there to get it. I try to go into the lobby, it's closed. I hold up my order to the window to show that they forgot something, they look at me and ignore me. So I have to get back in my car and go through the drive thru. Someone SCREAMS through the drive thru speaker, I try to explain, she cuts me off to tell me to pull forward. a blonde boy who's the assistant manager comes to the window. I explain the situation FINALLY and he tells me that it was my fault! for ordering the Szechuan sauce on the side instead of in my happy meal! i try to be understanding and I take the blame, okay sure. even though nothing says that I won't get it if I order that way and I paid for delivery and HAD to drive down there. but I ask "can I still get the Szechuan sauce?" and HE SAYS that I'm "pushing it but sure." no compensation. I dont even get the original order I BOUGHT. Instead just terrible interactions and service that I was *trying to avoid* by ordering delivery. i understand it's busy, and that your workers aren't getting paid shit, but this situation was obviously just a man who's testosterone was pumping and needed to exercise control over a situation that he was already in the wrong for. Don't use the ordering stations! They lost track of our order and we had to bring it to their attention even though we were standing right there in front of them waiting while everyone else was being served. We politely waited a long time until we realized just how clueless they were. At that point they still put others ahead of us. The food was edible (chicken nuggets were over cooked) and they offered us a business card good for the next time and that is the only reason I'm not giving one star. I have to say first that the staff here have always been excellent and super-friendly, and it's always a pleasure dealing with them. BUT I am severely annoyed with a few things - 1) There was a period of months where every other time I went, their McCafe machine was broken. And then for a while after that, they just up and quit serving McCafe altogether. I don't know how long for sure, but it was months at least, possibly maybe a year or more. Super annoyed that I had to go get expensive coffee when I could've saved a bunch of money using the McCafe coupons from the app. I understand things break and need to be replaced sometimes, but months? You're the biggest restaurant chain in the world, come on! 2) I saw a commercial for the new french toast sticks and was all excited to try them out, plus I had a coupon. NOPE. They don't have them. Why??? 3) I've had nasty fries that tasted like they've been sitting there for hours. To be fair, it's been at least a year since that happened so maybe they quit doing that. It's good to have a reminder to keep them in line though, nobody likes nasty fries! I'm gonna reiterate, the staff there are EXCELLENT, which is why I never complain in person. I wish I could separate the ratings because the staff actually deserve 5 stars. Whoever makes the big decisions here needs to seriously get on track though, they get 2 stars. Bottom line, when I see a McDonald's commercial for something, then I expect them to have the thing they advertised. We got our breakfast quickly but there was more in the bag than we ordered. I can't complain about that, though. The food was hot and neatly made. There are a lot of employees and a lot of flies in the restaurant and in the restroom. Always there were flies, but today Monday, 10/5/2015...definitely more than anywhere I have seen! With so many employees, someone could grab ahold of a fly swatter? Where is public health inspection? Dairy Queen, two doors over, I have never seen one in the restaurant. It has improved lately.
