Stopped by the drive through to get my kids some lunch after school. Was about 130pm. The drive through service was horribly slow. They were properly staffed but the employees were standing around talking, not paying attention, and apparently oblivious to the idea that if there's a line your average speed of service means the end of you line has been waiting 30-40 mins. This resulted in the food being cold by the time we were able to eat. The exterior of the building was so dirty, my kid noticed and made a comment about how it looked moldy. read more

Consistently the SLOWEST Service and COLDEST burger king I have ever visited on today. It was consistently busy but it should never take 22 minutes for an order that was already placed through the drive thru and when there are 3 cars behind me. The kicker is that the food is always cold, I asked to be cooked to order, and I still have to microwave it again when I get home. The store dining area and bathroom were extremely dirty. Great food, the charbroiked burger patties just taste so much bettter than fried. For the price a Whopper Jr. with Cheese is a far better value than the equivalent McDonald's hamburger with cheese where they skimp on the ingrediebts eg. onion slices vs. onion bits. Not really understanding why this place is such poor reviews each time I've gone the staff has always been very friendly. The place is always neat and tidy and the food is what you expect from Burger King. The burgers are always welcome cooked. Everything is on the bun that you ask for the prices are what they are. The fries we ordered were fresh everything was prepared fresh. The only real complaint we had was the price was a bit higher than what you really think you should pay for an order of fries, a burger and a drink. I was on the price. Had problems with the app and didn't know if my order had gone through. It looked like I had so I went ahead to the drive-thru. Only one car in front of me and took forever so I gave up and left. the place is trashed, everything is sticky, service was terrible, ice cream machine was broken, icee machine not working, I got a drink and had to use a code to get it to work, and it sprayed me with orange syrup. No napkins to clean myself up, no st raws out had to ask for one. All I got was a drink and onion rings, waited 15 minutes while watching an employee with green and pink hair spill someone else's drink all over their cup and still give it to them all sticky. There was a line as usual as any other day. I was grabbing food for my 5 year old as she is OBSESSED with the fries here. I get to the window and discover I left my wallet as home. I didn't want to have to tell my little that we couldn't get the food. She was excited!! The girl working the window tried everything to help me pull up my apple wallet and/or any kind of form to be linked to my phone. Unable to. She paid for my food! The young gentlemen working drive through on 12-27-24 at approx 5pm had the best customer service I've ever experienced at a drive through restaurant. Filled our request on sauces, made sure my kids were taken care of, and even gave them crowns. Offered us one as well, which made us smile! We had a long wait tonight for a good reason. The manager saw that the chicken was looking old for our italian chicken sandwiches and directed it made fresh for us. That kind of high care factor is hard to find lately. It is sad that this location has had to close their dining room because of the residents of the homeless encampment around it abusing the dining room and trashing the bathrooms. read more

I'll begin this review by stating that one company is the franchisee for nine Kitsap County Burger Kings. So this means that the determining factor in the difference in quality between the restaurants is the management team and the employees they and--more importantly--train. A couple of years ago, I wrote a 1-star review about another Port Orchard Burger King based on the Bacon King meal I was served. There were also come clear management-based issues as well. Today, I used that same test sandwich at this Burger King, As you can see, it was a 4-star meal and dining experience. Burger King burgers have not tasted flame-broiled to me in years. Today, the char-taste was there in the two burger patties. There was a good amount of crispy bacon--not as much as in the commercials and photos but then no fast food items look like their advertised versions. In addition, there was plentiful cheese--and the burger buns were top quality--and not smooshed as they typically are with some fast food chains. The fries were nice crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The only weak thing about the meal was the Coke. It was a weak mix of Coke syrup and carbonated water and not a refreshing pause at all. There was maybe a bit too much syrup and not enough carbonation, so it tasted a little too sweet and a little "flat". But the quality management shines in the well-trained staff. No gossiping or standing around. No buns or food or trash strewn on the floor. The whole place was clean. Everyone was polite and professional. At the table in front of me, one of the female employees cleaning the tables stopped to ask an elderly couple if they needed anything, like more sauce for their meals. I have never--ever--seen anyone in a fast food joint behave like a server in a fine restaurant. The two other employees I interacted with were very friendly with sincere smiles. So, at last I've found one Burger King I'll return to. The food merits 3 stars, but it's to the employees I award awarded that fourth star. read more

I was really trying to give this location the benefit of doubt, trying several times. I stopped there this afternoon for a Whopper with cheese, by the way it was $8+, I went straight home from there (about 3-4 minutes away) and the burger was COLD. Today was their last chance. the last 4 times i've been there, a month or 3 between visits, all 4 of my last burgers have been so cold that the cheese didn't even melt. Thumbs down to the management there, pre-making burgers and "trying to warm them up" is a fail. read more

I first tried calling Burger King but after many rings, it disconnected. On 1/25/2021 at approximately 6 pm I purchased 2 Whopper Jrs and 2 small french fries. I have purchased the same items over the past few years and they have been consistently excellent. Unfortunately this was not the case this time. The french fries were warm and tasted stale and the Whopper Jrs were cold when I got them home (10 min away) and I tasted a lot of pickle juice. Within hours I started having stomach pains and for the next 36 hours I had over 10 trips to the bathroom. I can't remember the last time I got so sick. I had purchased the same items about 6 weeks previous and thought they were not up to the quality of the past but I was hoping it was a 1 time thing. That was not the case and after this, I won't be going to Burger King. read more

Went to this location to order lunch. My husband ordered his two burgers & then I ordered mine and asked for no tomato. After that my husband realized he forgot to order his burgers without tomato as well and asked if his burgers could also have no tomato. To this, the lady taking our order replied "okay, but you need to let me know ahead of time so it doesn't mess up my kitchen staff"........ I was baffled by this snarky unnecessary comment. Our order hadn't even been officially placed, we were still at the speaker from which you order, and she says that. I wasn't aware that asking for no tomato on a sandwich 30 seconds after you've ordered would throw off your kitchen staff. I went to burger king today for a quick bite because I had a bunch of errands/appointments to run. So first off the lady at the drive through was very impatient and rude we didn't even have time to read the menu and she was hounding us to hurry and order then we came around to pay and I asked her what we ordered, we just wanted a sandwich not a meal. She very rudely answered and we proceeded to the pick up window where they pretty much threw us the bag then pulled around I handed my boyfriend his burger and grabbed my chicken sandwich and my bottom bun was hard as a rock and the chicken patty was cold I went in there was no one in sight then the drive through lady came by and I told her that my sandwich was hard and cold, annoyed she stated she was going to get the manager and disappeared, manager came and grabbed the bag and looked at it tossed it and yelled to the kitchen to make a replacement sandwich. Got my sandwich and went back to my car reluctantly I opened it and took a bite the chicken pattie again was cold. I didn't eat it The place was dirty and there was a ton of garbage outside the front door I had to leave to make my appointment on time. Very disappointed. Wow, this restaurant sucks. Don't expect fresh food, as this place doesn't serve it. Stuffed my fries with COLD garbage and topped it with a few fresh ones to fool me into paying for food that should have been tossed out. Nuggets were so old they were DRIED UP. Truly horrible! I drove thru this location this morning to get my breakfast as I've done on most days since living in port orchard, WA three times now I've had a problem with the BK app closing out from the order speaker to the drive-up window to show them the coupon code as they insist You prove yourself to them twice. the app would even closeout and the offer would no longer be available even.so when you get to the window the code is no longer available for visual inspection! I am a senior citizen who lives off my VA disability benefits so every cent counts. three times this happening I confronted the manager TY who is the district manager for the region. I am 100 percent sure he is aware that there is no one in their corporate office on Sunday so I asked for the corporate # to call and complain about the bait and switch that is being done over this store locations App receiver. we all know this is illegal and shall be reported to the FTC. TY accused me, and I quote: lots of people use our app and never complained. maybe it is your phone or your provider! in a smudge better than me tone. I excitingly said to TY that I had a problem at that store before with a previous manager. and TY informed me in an extremely mean voice that TY was that manager's boss and that he knew who I was! As though he felt superior and then said he had talked with the owner about me in a matter of a fact kinda way, Like he had something personal against me, TY should not be involved in my personal conversations involving me with the owner of this store chain. TY was not apologizing or trying to understand my situation. TY refused to sell me my meal even at full price! then called the police to trespass me, as I was waiting for the police in the drive-thru TY then proceeded to hand out people behind me orders "without gloves" handling their food and money at the same time putting their lives in danger. getting right up in their face in their car windows. I am sure that this is against BK's corporate policy during the co-vid crisis. if not they should have been informed what is safe but TY being better than the lives of others and myself took it upon himself to take the situation into his own hands. to not sell me food to me because I was upset and said that this was F'd up and accused me once more of cursing at him! now I try not to say bad words and every now and then when I get angry one will slip out, but never at people! only in/at situations! but I sure didn't deserve to have TY call the police and make everyone else wait and put them in danger ignoring BK policy and the Washington state mandates when it comes to foodservice. I believe this is the reason why because TY has a God complex to treat others the way he did, it was is completely off the charts. I hope you read this entirely. During yesterdays power outage, this half of the side of the intersections was the only one with power. Going through the drive thru there were about 5 cars ahead of us, and as we moved up, 5 more behind.. the line continuously was long! Kudos to all the workers who had to work last night! They powered through all the orders fast! At least your shift went well. I was a bit bummed when they did not have any more of those black burgers for Halloween or even last night when I wanted to try the Surge slushy, they ran out.. I never go into fast food eateries as I don't eat meat or deep fried foods. However last week I felt obliged to pickup a burger for a friend and while there decided to try a veggie burger which I usually detest ! I was pleasantly surprised because it was moist and full of flavor and had none of the 'veggie burger' taste that to me is unpalatable. It had two slices of tomatoes and a wonderful sauce. We were out and about running errands and decided to stop at this Burger King for a quick bite. We thought we couldn't go wrong by going to Burger King. Boy, were we wrong: 1. I waited almost ten minutes while someone was busy using the only ladies room in the restaurant. I asked the manager if I could use the men's room and suggested that he check on whoever was in the ladies room. He said okay to my using the men's room, but did not bother to do anything about the person in the ladies room. After returning to our booth to eat lunch, i saw the the ladies room door open. It was now over 15 minutes. It was a Burger King worker who was just getting off shift and clearly was in the restroom doing her hair (she was carrying her curling iron, change of clothes, and other personal items, which she brought into the Employees Only area. I sure hope she did not go through the kitchen with those things!) 2. Every table in the restaurant was littered with crumbs and mess despite the fact that it was well after 2:00 p.m. and there was no one else in the restaurant but us and only one or two cars in the drive-thru. 3. Speaking of the drive thru...the car I mentioned sat at the speaker from the time my husband sat down at the booth by the window facing the drive thru to the time we were just finishing our meal. I give that person a lot of credit for being so patient. I don't think I would have waited that long for "fast food." Especially, as I mentioned, we were the only customers in the whole place. 4. When we left the restaurant after eating our meal, we ran into three of the employees standing just outside the main entrance smoking and complaining to each other about how incompetent another employee was. Another employee was sitting close by on the curb of the walkway talking on his cell phone. (I guess that's better than the others who were smoking by the entrance.) The manager on duty either did not care or had no clue how to manage people and his business. Major issues here! Would never go back again. read more

I stop here, on occasion, for a quick bite. It's fast food. I've never had an issue with service, delayed food, or ever seen it dirty. Employees have always been pleasant and have always got my order right. It's not the Metropolitan Grill and it has prominent signage stating that it is, indeed a Burger King. My observations clearly differ from others and I just don't have the want nor desire to always be here, so that I can find the perfect moment of chaos to give them 1 star. Customer service is awful! Today they didn't break up the ice in my soft drink. I could feel the ice poking the side as she handed it to me. I put my straw in and had to wiggle it to get it in. I look down 30 seconds later and my cup holders are full of soda! The ice punctured the side. There was a piece lodged in the side of the cup. It was crazy. I turned around and went back in. Asked for a rag and showed the lady my cup. She game me paper towels and looked at me like "so what". I showed her the ice. As I was headin out to clean up my car I heard her say "he prolly had something sharp in his cup holder". I turned around and said "did you not see the ice"? All I wanted was a "sorry sir, here's a new cup". Instead she put the blame on me. When I said "wow no apology?" She replied "I'd say sorry if it was my fault". Can you believe this? How is it ok to talk to a customer like that? It was your fault lady! Break up the damn ice before you jam it in my cup! If you're thinking of going here, go to mcdonalds.
