Full disclosure, when I'm hurry and have places to be many times I stop at McDonald's, usually using the drive thru. And this location gets my business more than others because it's convenient to me. There's another reason too...they consistently provide excellent service. I think I'll credit management on the great service because I've been coming here periodically for quite some time and almost every employee is pleasant and helpful. Read my other location reviews...this is not the normal. Lately Ann Marie has been taking the drive thru orders and my money. She is super friendly. And quick which keeps the line moving. She has no trouble understanding my à la carte orders that other places struggle with. It's always a pleasure to find her at that first window. read more

I would like to complain about the service at the Taylor Road McDonalds in Port Orange. I have never had a problem before in15 years or so until now. I had to wait 20 minutes for them to bring out my order to side waiting area. First the girl came out the wrong order then twice more to ask me what my order was. Finally after 20 minutes an older lady came out with the right order. Don't know if they were newbes or what but they need to step up their game here. read more

Ordered on the kiosco and waited to pay at the counter for 25 mins!!! The manger (Alex) was up front and I told him excuse me twice he ignored me, looked at us and still nothing. As were were waiting for the rest of our food the customers behind us had also ordered on the machine and they were standing in line to pay and he yelled at them and told them that he could not help them? Today, I had very bad experience in this store. The manager is very rude to me, a customer. I would guess the manager Shann (not sure if I spell the name right) is either a racist, discriminate person or just had a bad day. 1. The staff and manager both don't know how mobile app payment works. When they ask me to use another way to pay for my meal, they already charged me from the card I saved in my app. 2. They don't know how to operate their POS machine. They should've double check with the system first, before they said my credit card that saved in the app had problem. When they ask me for another way to pay, I provided apply pay. McDonald's app payment has problem time to time. When they ask me to use different way to pay, I believe they said that the mobile app payment has errors. Unfortunately apple pay did not work, which happen quite a lot too. 3. The manager is very unprofessional and might be a discriminate person When she talk to me, her attitude was horrible and she did not gave me any chance to explain or question the situation. She was nonstop saying that my card was decline, if I have problem I should contact my bank. She was acting like you are poor; you don't have money, stop messing around here, and just leave. 4. They charged me extra money for my order. I insisted to purchase the meal because my children were in the back seats and waiting to have the food I promised. Also I am not happy that she didn't let me know her other solution beside let me go. 5. She charged less than my order to shame me that she assumed I don't have money When she charged me extra money by accident, she was not even taking the time to check my original order. She only charged me $2.33. She already assumed that I don't have money. That causes me to think that she is discriminate to any person whom credit card got decline. Actually, in this case is not my card problem. 6. The manager had terrible attitude and she might be a racist After I paid for the order second time, she slammed the pay window on my face. I did not get any apologize and not even a receipt to prove my purchase. In this incident, I am Asian and she is White. I don't want to be stereotype. Unfortunately, her attitude really made me think about the possibility. I have my credit card transaction and mobile app purchased record to prove what I said. They always forget one thing of ours that we order we don't know if it's the Uber driver or the employees that forgot to put it in.

If you want to work for this McDonald's think twice before applying. In the beginning everything will be good and then managers start yelling at you for no reason at all. If the managers are Yesenia and/or Santa still working at this place do not even try it. It does not matter which country you are for the yelling do not stop at all times even if you do the job 100% right. Just because they do not like you n you have come in on time all the time, they make you sign a form that states that you have been late 66% of the time and then they put you on call for the rest of the following month. They do it to all employees. That is when I did not answer my phone to them and never came back again. They tried to contact me in many ways, I never answered. So I gave this McDonald's a pretty bad review last year... Didn't come to this location for about 6 months, even though it is the closest to my home. During that time however things changed dramatically. All the complaints I had repeatedly seem to have been addressed. I wanted to ensure that the good service wasn't just a fluke, so I've been there about 10 times since the 6 month break. Not once has my order been short. No missing items and the drive thru staff repeats your order to you both when you pay as well as when they hand you the food. Big improvements! read more

When we travel long distance, we always stop at McDonald Restaurants off the highway for a rest room break and to purchase a large bag of French fries. There is not much to say about the food. It's all usually always the same; fast food and fast service. But this fast food chain restaurant had a kiosk to order your food selection and an enclosed indoor children section which I thought was smart. read more

Fries didn't taste fresh and were soggy. Ordered two burgers, one with NO cheese. Both burgers had cheese and one even had a sticker saying no cheese. Neither burger had mustard. Meat was extremely dry and rubbery. I don't have high expectations from them but overall this was frustrating and a waste of money. read more

Drive thru service at this location never ceases to amaze me.. I don't know if it's just me, or what, but every time I come here I find myself waiting and waiting and waiting. My most recent experience was so bad that it prompted me to take the time to write this bad review. I ordered (via drive-thru) a double cheeseburger and a chocolate shake. When I arrived at the first window, I paid. At the second window, I received my burger and was told to pull forward and wait for my shake, as it was taking longer to prepare. While I waited, I counted 11, yes, eleven cars, all of which received their food and drove around me. 12 whole minutes had passed by the time I received my shake. Which was vanilla. Not the chocolate that I ordered. I didn't have it in me to wait another 12 minutes while they correct my order, so I left. read more

I stop here after work a lot and they are always great! I've never had a mistake with my order or a delay of more than two or three minutes and the nuggets are always good especially compared to some McDonald's I've been to where they leave them out way to long or over fry them to the point that their like rocks read more

We've been here before and the service is usually very quick, methodical, and, honestly, cold. They seem surprised by courtesy but that's probably a sign off their usual customers and not the employees themselves. Food wise, it's just... McDonald's. You don't expect gourmet. We decided to try the mozzarella sticks and were quite rudely surprised at them. Between the small size (shorter than a finger) and the amount of breading on them, there is not much good I can say. Their chicken nuggets were hot and ready quickly and the fries are their usual good quality. I wouldn't suggest the mozzarella sticks, though. For 200 calories, I'd like to taste and remember the flavor. They do have a play place inside that they do a great job of keeping the tables clean but, with having my kids get sick a few times after playing there, I wonder about the cleanliness of the equipment the kids play on. The staff in the play place are always really friendly and right on spills or messes. Their drive thru is pretty quick but it's kind if scary and hazardous if you choose to go into the restaurant. I walked by their kitchen And I saw the oil that they were using that it was vegetable oil and then three times I went back over the past year every time they use vegetable oil I ended up getting sick for for weeks after weeks and it was horrible I'm not even that is that when I was younger I went into the playground that I have in the restaurant and I literally saw shit and puke up In the playgrounds When I went down into the Florida ones it was much neater they were not using those gross oils.
